Seconding Shark. Corded vacuums are the only kind I will buy after doing research on pet hair suction power lol. I have a Shark Stratos Ultra stick vacuum and I love it. Sometimes Lowe’s will run 50% off on them so I got it for $150
r/CatAdvice • Can someone recommend me some a good vacuum to buy that can actually handle my 3 cats hair?! ->I think shark is a good vac for under 200 dollars. Look into [Shark Stratos Ultralight](https://amzn.to/3Wrqzkh) Amazon currently has it on sale. It’s usually 289 but currently it’s under 200. It’s a good vacuum and has what you need plus some.
r/VacuumCleaners • New to looking for vacuums, looking for corded stick vacuum for rug/hardwood/tile, preferrably 100-200 ->I have two cats and a Shark Stratos corded vacuum (hardwood floors and some rugs) and I love it. I’m amazed at how much fur and dust it picks up. I never thought I’d be gushy over a vacuum, but here we are.
r/CatAdvice • Can someone recommend me some a good vacuum to buy that can actually handle my 3 cats hair?! ->A stick vacuum isn't going to be effective for thoroughly cleaning carpeting. It is okay for quick pickups but that is about it. I had a Shark corded stick vacuum for 6 years as my main vacuum and it didn't clean my carpeting well at all. I have a corded Shark Stratos now. It does a way better job than the Shark stick vacuum. However, my next vacuum will be a bagged machine. I hate washing the filters and emptying the dust cup.

r/VacuumCleaners • Is shark a good choice if I don't plan on repairing my vacuum? ->Hey, I own a Shark myself and I have no problems with it yet. My last Shark was a Shark Rocket that broke after about 6 years. Still, reviewsvacuum's YouTube channel is very informative about all kinds of vacuums. He has a huge collection of vacuums and is very knowledgable about repairing all kinds of vacuums. Of course he is biased, as he makes a living off of selling specific brands of vacuums and repairing those that are brought to his shop. Of course he isn't going to like vacuums that are unrepairable because that means he gets no business. You can't really fault him for that. To be honest, is it really so great for consumers, either? Not really, unless you are okay with having a disposable vacuum. There is nothing wrong with having vacuums that only last a few years and can't be repaired if that is all you can afford. I have learned a lot from him about making better choices in the future, though. I like my Shark Stratos but it was $450 when I bought it and I understand now that I kind of got ripped off. Now that I have been here for a while, if I could do it again I would have got a bagged machine and saved money. I am saving up for a Miele or Sebo (haven't decided yet - that is why I am still here and reading) because the next vacuum I buy I want it to be the last one I ever have to purchase and I want to make the correct decision for me. I really like vacuum cleaners and think they are an important appliance in the home. They help keep us healthy and they are pretty fun.
r/VacuumCleaners • Bought a Shark and it’s incredible!! ->They might be right, though. I will decide if they are once I get a Sebo or Miele. I have a feeling that my Shark Stratos isn't agitating the carpeting enough. I grew up with high quality Hoover canisters and I swear they did a much better job agitating the carpeting. I feel like my Shark leaves it looking flat and not as fluffy as it should. It definitely has great suction and the anti-hair wrap works great. I like the duo clean roller felt roller, too. I feel like it is buffing my hard floors. Anyway, these vacuum technician guys on here do know what they are talking about and there ARE people who post on this forum how had their Shark break in a year and it can't be fixed. Which really sucks for them. If my Stratos breaks in a year I am going to be PISSED because I paid $450 for it!
r/VacuumCleaners • Bought a Shark and it’s incredible!! ->#1 brush as often as possible. I'm a self admitted clean freak and I hate hair. I've had many vacuums over the years. My previous vacuum was a Dyson animal that I loved when it actually was functional (I will unfortunately not be buying another Dyson). Now I have a Shark Stratos DuoClean PowerFins HairPro. I am not disappointed! Works great on the carpet and the vinyl floors. Next investment will be a robot vac/mop
r/germanshepherds • Best vacuum for hair? ->I use a Shark Stratos from Costco. It's been good, comes with lots of attachments. The dual brush and fins clean hard floors very well.
r/CostcoCanada • Any reviews on Shark vacuums? ->Absolute best, Dyson V15/16. Bang for your back, Shark Stratos. Both drains battery very quickly at the highest setting. There's just no way around that.
r/VacuumCleaners • best cordless vacuum that actually has strong suction? ->Just bought a Shark Stratos refurbished off eBay for around $200. Has worked great so far and has a 2 year warranty.
r/VacuumCleaners • Good vacuum that doesn't cost a whole paycheck. ->Shark Stratos or Tineco A11 Hero. They're both solid under $300. Avoid Bissell stick vacs, weak suction and bad battery life in my experience
r/VacuumCleaners • Best Stick Vacuum under $300? ->The Shark lift away Navigator professional is my favorite vacuum of all time. I bought a refurbished one 10 years ago, and it's still going strong. The clips that hold the dust bin on broke so my hubby put a bungee cord on to hold it down. He bought me the Shark Stratus to replace it, but I'm still using it until it dies. The Stratus is really good, too, but I love the Navigator more. It maneuvers so much better. My husband even uses it as a shop vac when he does drywall work around the house. I'm just really meticulous changing out the filters and cleaning it regularly.
