I got it a few days ago and love it. Of course the floors had been vacuumed and mopped a week before so there was not a lot of build up. I would say that if you use it regularly, at least once a week (we have one short haired dog and a cat) then it works great. There was a decent amount of clean up work, but with the auto clean and the tanks being easy to empty/fill/clean it is stilll way less work than a traditional vacuum and mop. However one important caveat: I think I would need to use it once a week for 3 years in order to justify the $300 I spent on it. It is worth $2 every time you use it. If you paid more than $300 and or if it breaks before 3 years then I would say no, it is not worth it. That means you need to buy at a discount and it needs to last 3 years, longer than the 2 year warranty.

I have the Tinco s5. Didn't pay nearly that much for it, got it at best buy for 200$. I really like it for weekly mopping. Not ideal for a deep clean though. For deep cleanings and stains that won't come out with the Tinco I got a Doverly electric scrub brush and that does the trick.

NO!!! Tineco has been the worst purchase of my life. First, the charger broke after a month, then the suction motor. I complained, and they demanded I pay for shipping out of my own pocket. All I can read are hundreds of reviews with the same problems: it breaks, it's a pain to clean, and in the end, it doesn't work. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Oh, and they have the worst customer service ever. Don't buy from Tineco!

I LOVE my S5 from Tineco - my floors are now spotless and my once filthy floor is a thing of the past! Cleaning it is easy enough once you get used to it. The floor debris mixes with the water so it can get a little gross at times, but the ease of use is worth a little bit of gross floor water imo.

I love the Tineco S5 - it's super convenient and it's made my floors spotless. New apartment was shockingly FILTHY before, but getting rid of the floor water was super satisfying. It charges quickly, and self cleans. I will be sticking with Tineco long after this one gives up or needs upgrading, but I think it'll be with us for a long while.

I am having the same issue. I bought a shark lift away which I loved for 2 months then the latch broke so front brush roll won't stay in. Since then I've bought 3 other vacuums and none of them pich up dust or dog hair. I need an affordable vacuum that will work on hard floors that will suck up pet hair and dust. In the past I had a Tineco vacuum mop and I agree with the comment on the smell and mine didn't pick up anything very well. I have long haired dogs and I need something that works. Plus I'm on a fixed income so I can't pay $700 for a vacuum. I'm at a loss

It depends on your house: Robot vacuum: have this if you do not have pets or wet dirts to smear around Cordless Vacuum: tbh I’m having fun with shark, just need to clear it each time I use it but that’s ok, this is for daily, I need this because I have pets and the bunch of attachments are great for furniture etc. Miele C series: good if you can get the parquet tool head. This is good for a major once a week jobs Wet dry: think tineco, some people swear by them, I used them for 1 week and could not stand the smell that lingers if you don’t dry it out right or that I’ve become the vacuum cleaner. I’d have the shark with a stick to use daily or crumbs + Miele C1/Karcher WD1 for when I want a big job done every now and then

Only good for the first month or so of charges. My tineco tho? Yep. Love it.

It comes with 2 batteries, and it seemed to pick up a ton of junk that my Dyson failed to pick up. Tbh I joke when I got the tineco is how I knew I was grown up. I spent 2 weeks vacuuming *everything* and it picked up *so* much that the Dyson wasn't. Literally canisters full and I vacuum near daily.

Oh thanks! Except the tineco comes with way more... and an extra battery so I can actually vacuum my entire house. Not only that it pulled up a disgusting amount of grime that my 3yr old Dyson couldn't... and they have way better customer service and replacement parts are affordable... and the intial purchase is significantly less than a dyson..... as someone with pets, kids and wears shoes in the house. Go find a goose!

Tbh, hubs got me a tineco as a present and I had never heard of it before. So sure. I apparently am in a cult I've never heard of, for a vacuum that I love cuz its a ***good*** stick vacuum? Ok habe fun with that one :) I still prefer my 15 yr old hoover upright pet vacuum that weighs like 20lbs but due to disability i can barely lift these days. Sorry for recommending a good, affordable option that **in my experience** out performs Dyson in every way. Have a good one 👍

Yep Sebo Felix for good normal vacuuming, and a little cordless Tineco for quick stuff. Both have been incredible and would recommend them for sure

I use a Tineco. No dogs with me but my own long hair sheds and litters the carpets. My vacuum is 5 years old, no issues, cleaning it is so easy. It is the purple one and cost like $120 at the time.

I run a little restaurant/drinks shop and need a long-lasting vacuum for daily end-of-day clean up. Recently bought the cordless Tineco but after a few months realized this was a mistake... Don't want to make the same mistake again so I did a little more research and is now deciding between the Miele C3 Bagged Canister or the SEBO Canister Vacuums. Does anyone know which would be better? Or if there is a completely different recommendation for my use-case? Also not sure what model of SEBO to get either (K, E, D - 1/2/3). Budget: $1000 or less. Hardwood floors Thanks!

Lot's of hair and dirt. Things that people track in from the outside. Issues right now with the tineco, it gets clogged too quickly or the suction is not powerful anymore. After vacuuming and releasing the trigger, a lot of the debris in the shaft of the vacuum falls out of the head (I guess it can't make its way into the debris collector). Also, recently smelling a slight burning smell when running. I assume because it is used everyday the motor just isn't built for it.

I agree with you, but unfortunately if you go into these specific types of subs about certain products you will only ever get recommendations of the best of the best product and never a “good enough for the average person” recommendation. It’s very all or nothing because the people who take their time to post in these groups are very passionate about this niche topic, it’s a hobby to them so it makes sense that they think this way. Honestly my $100 Tineco has been great for my carpetless 1 bedroom apartment and I’m also very glad I didn’t go for an experience, clunky corded vacuum. Not that they wouldn’t have been great, but it wouldn’t have suited my needs.

I have 2 cordless vacuums both work ok on hardwood floors and are terrible on carpets, Dyson v10 and a tineco, Dyson was $700 and is in my kitchen Cdn and the Tineco was $100 and is in my basement. When my Dyson dies I’ll replace with a cheap vacuum like the Tineco to supplement my Sebo.

r/VacuumCleaners • Ive been trying to find a vacuum, I scoured the sub for hours. Conclusion? r/VacuumCleaners hate vacuum cleaners and apparently i should just buy a broom. ->
