TINECO s2 pro I think it's called? It's a wet vac that clean EVERYTHING and mops in 1 go. Truly a life changer and worth every single penny. I have convinced so many people to get this thing and they all say the same thing. It's unreal how good it is
Not to be dramatic but your life is about to be completely elevated 🤣 I don't know how I survived without it. Just make sure you dump the water every night or it gets funky. I dump and rinse the brush head and the bin every night which takes 2 minutes and keeps it good as new. Use the water as hot at the vacuum allows (I think 120F) for super sticky, caked on messes and it'll still get it all on the first go!
It depends on if these features are good and work for your cleaning needs. I see that you have a corded Miele vacuum and are looking for something that is easier to use. I think you are headed in the right direction in shopping for a stick vacuum. When I look for a vacuum cleaner, I look for sturdiness and lots of useful features. My Tineco S7 Pro has been an impressive workhorse that has just as much strength, flexibility, and function as my Miele S7 upright. This Tineco model you’re looking at has basic attachments, reusable filters, a removable battery a good powerhead with a chevron shaped brush roll, a (laser green) head light, (I think it has) power adjustment and an easy empty canister. You want power adjustment as you don’t want the same strength of power to be used to clean bare floors as you do a small rug - controlling air flow is key. The need for a headlight just makes sure your bare floors are clean when you pass. I’ve personally seen and heard rave reviews about the usefulness of a green laser light over standard incandescent or LED headlight systems. I believe the Dyson stick vacs had that green headlight feature first- very useful indeed. My Tineco charger has a separate slot for the second battery to be charged. I don’t see that ability on this particular charging dock nevertheless, I recommend you get a second battery as even in a small home, they run out fast. I have been rotating my second battery out when I clean my entire house. It is nice to have no loss of cleaning time for charging. The chevron brush roll is key to not spreading dirt. An old school design that a lot of modern vacuum manufacturers avoid. I cannot tell of this particular model has the same pop-out brush roll feature mine has but I hope whatever this model offers that it is easily removable for cleaning purposes. All brush rolls collect hair have must be cleaned and maintained. I recently read a post about someone’s awful experience with Tineco. I hope that person gets their justice with Tineco but like everything in life, milage varies. I have been impressed with the power and usefulness of modern stick vacuums. They are nothing like what has been offered in decades past. As long as you are not one to beat up a vacuum and neglect necessary vacuum maintenance, it will last. I have seen people beat up all kinds of machines from cheap throwaways to high end. Hope this helps.
Only good for the first month or so of charges. My tineco tho? Yep. Love it.
It comes with 2 batteries, and it seemed to pick up a ton of junk that my Dyson failed to pick up. Tbh I joke when I got the tineco is how I knew I was grown up. I spent 2 weeks vacuuming *everything* and it picked up *so* much that the Dyson wasn't. Literally canisters full and I vacuum near daily.
Oh thanks! Except the tineco comes with way more... and an extra battery so I can actually vacuum my entire house. Not only that it pulled up a disgusting amount of grime that my 3yr old Dyson couldn't... and they have way better customer service and replacement parts are affordable... and the intial purchase is significantly less than a dyson..... as someone with pets, kids and wears shoes in the house. Go find a goose!
Tbh, hubs got me a tineco as a present and I had never heard of it before. So sure. I apparently am in a cult I've never heard of, for a vacuum that I love cuz its a ***good*** stick vacuum? Ok habe fun with that one :) I still prefer my 15 yr old hoover upright pet vacuum that weighs like 20lbs but due to disability i can barely lift these days. Sorry for recommending a good, affordable option that **in my experience** out performs Dyson in every way. Have a good one 👍
And FYI both the carpet and floor bars come with built in lights... and its already 2 years old 😂
Cordless yes. Battery life 45 minutes yes. Removable washable hepa filter yes. Click the cup open and dump yes. Comes with attachments yes. Foldable middle to get under furniture yes. 2 speeds for max power and regular yes. Lights up so you can see floor yes. Swivel head yes. Tineco 78 bucks on clearance at Target was 178.00 Extended warranty an extra 8 or 11 bucks cant remember. I also have the cordless mop vacuum combo from that maker. Which was on clearance and have had for about 7 months for 99 bucks at Target.
Agree with posters on using as supplemental vacuum. That said I have a thing for vacs lol I do have a Tineco wet vac. It’s not bad. It’s easy to use and gets the job done. No experience with their stick vacs. I have a dyson v…have no idea. it has the light thing. it did ok job picking up. Needs maintenance of course. What drove me crazy was the dirt not coming out of the bin easily.. Would be a big wad of dust that I have to bang to get out or stick my hand..gross. I just got the Shark powerdetect with the auto-empty a few weeks ago. Been nice not messing with the cloud of dust. Haven’t had to empty the main bin yet. Costco has it on sale now here in the US. All that to say if you do go for a stick vac, might be worth checking out the auto empty versions if your budget allows.
