got two cats and a dog and honestly the floor is just always covered. sweep today, wake up tomorrow like nothing happened. done cycling through a few different vacuums and the pattern is always the same, starts great then slowly just loses suction or the brush gets so tangled it stops spinning altogether. what actually works for people with more than one pet. like do you vacuum every day or is there a smarter system? also wondering if the type of vacuum matters more than the brand cause someone told me cordless stick ones can't really handle heavy shedders long term. what changed things for your setup? just an update with this. some of you mentioned robot vacuums and i literally checked on that for a bit but also started looking at stick vacuums cause of the cordless debate in the comments. but then i tried a tineco [go h2o](https://rdtlink.click/tineco-go-h20) and honestly the suction on pet hair is way better than i expected for a stick. still testing it on the corners tho cause thats always where mine loses hope it will lasts cuz i dont want any regrets again lol
We got a simplicity stick vacuum 6 years ago. Use it almost daily and she’s still running like a damn champ. Replaceable batteries too when this one goes out. It’s not our main vacuum though. We have a Kenmore Elite Canister. Have an older Riccar before they moved overseas. Also have a Qrevo Curv X robot vacuum as well as a Tineco Hammerhead. The simplicity though is a damn champ. No idea if you can still get them or not.

Data point: I have a tineco stick vacuum and the vacuum mop. Like ‘em both. If don’t have carpet and you mostly want clean floors, go vacuum mop. I use mine more frequently than the vacuum. If you like clean floors but also want the ability to easily clean the crumbs out of the silverware drawer, the lint out of the dryer trap and suck up fossilized fruit snacks from couch crevices, get the stick vacuum. This is why i 💗 the vacuum.
Absolutely. A cordless stick vacuum is life changing. A Dyson is amazing. Any vacuum that prevents hair wrap is a must have. Because who has the spoons for doing that extra step. I’m also going to recommend a tineco vacuum mop. Best thing ever. Even when I’ve forgotten to clean it out it wasn’t that bad.
Agree with posters on using as supplemental vacuum. That said I have a thing for vacs lol I do have a Tineco wet vac. It’s not bad. It’s easy to use and gets the job done. No experience with their stick vacs. I have a dyson v…have no idea. it has the light thing. it did ok job picking up. Needs maintenance of course. What drove me crazy was the dirt not coming out of the bin easily.. Would be a big wad of dust that I have to bang to get out or stick my hand..gross. I just got the Shark powerdetect with the auto-empty a few weeks ago. Been nice not messing with the cloud of dust. Haven’t had to empty the main bin yet. Costco has it on sale now here in the US. All that to say if you do go for a stick vac, might be worth checking out the auto empty versions if your budget allows.
They're expensive but I have a Tineco mop vacuum - it's easy to use and you can take the roller out.
Yep Sebo Felix for good normal vacuuming, and a little cordless Tineco for quick stuff. Both have been incredible and would recommend them for sure
