I've had a tineco ifloor 3 for nearly 5 years. My wife likes it a lot and thinks it is worth it. The battery is starting to go bad but can be replaced with one for $45 on amazon. I think as long as you buy a more basic one and keep up the cleaning they are fine. Dreame seems to have made a better system that separates solids from liquids in the dirty tank. The Dreame G10 Pro at $189 seems equal to the tineco we have. I can't imagine spending $400+ on the higher end ones unless you absolutely need the heated water/steam cleaning function. The H14 looks good too at $280 and adds heated dry and 140f wash water.
Get the Tineco products. I have the stick vac, the floor mop and the wet dry spot vac. All of these have performed without issue for years for us vs the dyson stick and we went through 3 of the Bissell spot cleaners (pet and auto ones). Best part is all 3 of these cost the same as one Dyson
Depending on ur dog, there may not be a perfect answer. We had an Akita when my twins were babies/toddlers and the shedding is insane. The undercoat was such fine hair that it would get stuck places in the vacuum you couldn’t properly empty. I found it was best to purchase a cheaper shark for around $120 every year than go for a higher end option. Once you find the right vacuum, you should look into a tineco or similar wet vac. I got the tineco 3. It charges and will get through roughly 1,500sf before it dies. Mops and sucks up both dirty water and debris into a canister that you can easily empty. Kids could knock an entire jug on the floor and it pulls everything up. Not exactly what you asked, but mom to mom, there’s always a second tool we find out we need.
There are vac/mops that vacuum while you mop like the Bissell Crosswave and Tineco iFloor combos. These mostly only mop and cannot dry vacuum floors, carpets, or do anything above the floor. Among the cordless vac/mops I only recommend machines with removable and replaceable batteries because the battery is such a common failure and wear item. The Hoover Onepwr Streamline and Ryobi Swift Clean are the only vac/mops that are decent and have removable batteries. The Dyson V9 with the Submarine mop attachment is a dry cordless stick vacuum good for all around vacuuming with a mop attachment. The mop attachment mops but doesn’t vacuum at the same time so you need to dry vacuum first and then mop. Vac/mops require a lot of cleanup after each use. Dyson’s submarine also is quite messy and requires a lot of cleanup after each use. Personally I would choose a decent cordless stick vacuum like a Dyson V8 or a LG CordZero and get a good manual mop like a O’Cedar Spin Mop or a good reusable spray mop. Both mop better than the Submarine and are less cleanup than a vacuum/mop. There are lots of choices. Hope that helps.
TINECO s2 pro I think it's called? It's a wet vac that clean EVERYTHING and mops in 1 go. Truly a life changer and worth every single penny. I have convinced so many people to get this thing and they all say the same thing. It's unreal how good it is
Not to be dramatic but your life is about to be completely elevated 🤣 I don't know how I survived without it. Just make sure you dump the water every night or it gets funky. I dump and rinse the brush head and the bin every night which takes 2 minutes and keeps it good as new. Use the water as hot at the vacuum allows (I think 120F) for super sticky, caked on messes and it'll still get it all on the first go!

Data point: I have a tineco stick vacuum and the vacuum mop. Like ‘em both. If don’t have carpet and you mostly want clean floors, go vacuum mop. I use mine more frequently than the vacuum. If you like clean floors but also want the ability to easily clean the crumbs out of the silverware drawer, the lint out of the dryer trap and suck up fossilized fruit snacks from couch crevices, get the stick vacuum. This is why i 💗 the vacuum.
Absolutely. A cordless stick vacuum is life changing. A Dyson is amazing. Any vacuum that prevents hair wrap is a must have. Because who has the spoons for doing that extra step. I’m also going to recommend a tineco vacuum mop. Best thing ever. Even when I’ve forgotten to clean it out it wasn’t that bad.
