My Shark Pet was on offer £149. it's pathetic now. Got a Screwfix Titan builders one. noisy as anything, bought a better pole/brush off ebay and it's amazing. £48 in total.
It's an absolute unit. Use it for wet and dry and you can clean the air filter in a sink of warm water.
Yep the dry one. It even says it in the [product description](https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-vacuum-filter-cartridge/791KH?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19823510113&gbraid=0AAAAAD8IdPzpt596kML0lC9h7DGavIn8u&gclid=Cj0KCQiAo4TKBhDRARIsAGW29bcUR1dYRbRMWEv7ZyIYEGASdVww3DYynASBvThxVKpN795Eo0R59p0aAg69EALw_wcB). Ofc you can wash the wet one too, but that's less surprising.
Definitely. I have a cheap titan I got in screwfix. Cost €55,got it cos builders were in years back. But the suction in this cheap hoover is lightyears ahead of the cordless Dyson.
I prefer the Screwfix Titan over the Henry: 1. Cheaper 2. Taller/more waste storage 3. Much lighter 4. Doesn’t tip over 5. Has accessory storage so you don’t lose all the bits 6. Wheels around easier than Henry Sucks everything up just like Henry too - haven’t had any issues with it.
I've hoovered up so much shite with mine, it's a beast really. I broke it a bit doing plaster/filler dust though... three screws under the lid and I cleaned out the .. someone'll say the name for it.. disc that spins and makes the air sucky sucky.. it's perfect again. Also found paper filter on Amazon and it's so much nicer to me by not kicking out half the dust out the back. Plus of course you can change Mega-Maid from suck to blow just by whacking the hose on the outlet. Like most Titan things. Does the job well and it's cheap. Yayface.
Titan out of Screwfix, twice the power of any of the fancy yokes and half the price
Look no further than the Screwfix Titan range, they are fantastic!
was literally about to say Titan would make a killing with a proper "carpet" head although they would have to market it as a "carpeted workshop cleaner"
I've got 2 of them, one permanently attached to my mitre saw it's so good at minimising the sawdust fallout. But might buy a proper head attachment on day 1 and sack off the commercial crap that seems to last precisely 3 days after the warranty expires
I use a basic Titan bagged diy vac from screwfix. It’s great.
Titan wet/dry vac I bought for my shed. Basically a shop vac. Insane suction, stupidly simple, and just werks. It's better than any "household" hoover I've ever had.
For a house with carpets, I would always go with an upright with a roller. So much better for fluffing up carpets. For hard floors, a Henry would be perfect. To counter the Henry, Screwfix ow brand titan wet and dry vacuums are amazing! so cheap, but so much suction. Have a couple for my workshop and don’t want to say bad things about Henry.. but I think it’s better than him.
