I have this one and it’s the best vacuum I’ve ever owned, was way more expensive when I bought it. https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb922vac-m-1400w-20ltr-m-class-wet-dry-vacuum-220-240v/150rg?ref=SFAppShare

For a house with carpets, I would always go with an upright with a roller. So much better for fluffing up carpets. For hard floors, a Henry would be perfect. To counter the Henry, Screwfix ow brand titan wet and dry vacuums are amazing! so cheap, but so much suction. Have a couple for my workshop and don’t want to say bad things about Henry.. but I think it’s better than him.

I got the titan one and they are alright. Great for things you just don’t want to wreck your proper vac for. Mine is best as a wet vac - if I’m changing a radiator and expecting some water to come out i get the vac on it and it is powerfully enough to make the water go horizontally into the vac rather than fall.

Wet dry vac is way to go, titan is a brand you could look into should be strong it's for construction painting and decorating and the likes

Shark for daily vacuums (yeah right 'daily'), and a Titan wet dry vac from screwfix for deep cleans and dust that's not appropriate for the shark. The Titan was about 50 quid and comes with wheels, you do have to get floor head attachments but they're generic. Also does blow for when I can't be arsed to sweep the front path or need to blast the PC

Had a Henry, bought a titan wet and dry, found the suction lacking in comparison to Henry so now wet and dry is purely wet use and back to Henry for all dry tasks.

if it’s like the titan screwfix ones that come with a mesh filter you absolutely need to buy the hepa filter if you’re expecting it not to chuck dust and bits out the back.

Tbh the Titan or DeWalt wet and dry vac from Screwfix is half the price and actually incredible. The only vacuum I've owned that will properly clean car carpets and not leave little bits behind. Sharks are high maintenance and always blocking, and the attachments are crap for cleaning cars, they are too chunky.

£50 Titan from Screwfix. Actually an awesome vacuum. And it's a wet and dry vac.
