I had issues with Razer Kiyo. It just stopped working after a month. I've got a replacement unit which also suddenly stopped working after a year. The image quality was mediocre at best. I am using Elgato Facecam Neo now and I am very pleased with it. The image quality is way better than Razer Kiyo. It also has a great optional software - you can set focus to near / mid / far / auto, set contrast, saturation., sharpness, adjust shutter speed, iso, dynamic range and white balance. There is also a very good looking image noise reduction. Elgato Facecam Neo doesn't have a microphone, but the microphones in webcams are usually shitty quality anyways, so you will not really want to use the built in mic anyway. To achieve a nice image with any webcam you will need a good lighting. Sitting in a well lit room, putting a night lamp near your face should be good enough at first. You can also consider using your smartphone as a webcam, there are apps like DroidCam that you install on your PC and your phone that let you connect your phone via USB or wifi. The camera in your phone will most likely produce better quality video than most webcams on the market.

Elgato Facecam Neo does not work. Neither USB-C nor with adapter to USB-A.

my boyfriend got me an elgato cam neo for my birthday and the difference was awesome!! set up was quick (besides the system update you have to do when you plug it in the first time). i love it so much!!

The elgato neo facecam costs $60 and is amazing 🤷‍♂️. Just get a usb C to Usb A adapter if you dont have a usb c plug. Before that I had a bunch of logitechs and never had major issues. Not sure what environment youve been using them or maybe you just have terrible luck. PS The elgato i got for a scenario where it was sitting in the sun for over 10 hours running constantly, i have a fan on it and its given me small issues along the way but other than that its been a trooper to this day

Elgato Facecam Neo habe ich aktuell im Einsatz und zufrieden. UVP 70€. Hat auch 1/4 Zoll Gewinde für Stativ. Und mit der Software kann man einiges steuern. Zusammen mit Steamdeck auch auf Knopfdruck.

Yep the exposure issues were shocking constantly flicking from green and red on auto. I eventually tuned mine in manualy but it was so bad i just set it to black and white until i could figure it out.  I upgraded to the elgato facecam, which needed a lot of tweaking but im happy with it. I also run an elgato facecam neo right beside it. Had to make usual exposure & hz changes because i live in Australia although its a little bit flatter than the elgato facecam, i never had to adjust the colours and in a lot of ways i prefer the image quality
