Emeet pixy is overkill for just tutorials but if you ever want to upgrade later, the dual camera ai ptz thing is insane. for now though just grab the s600,
plug it in and use quicktime or obs, way simpler setup
Tested bunch of sub-$100 cams recently and emeet s600 ($60) punched way above its price for dimly lit rooms.
If you need AI tracking the Pixy is solid around $100, honestly way better value than most $200 options Ive tried.
upgraded from logitech last year to emeet s600 for around $60 and low light performance is solid, auto focus stays locked. if you have $150 budget the pixy model has ai tracking which is nice but s600 handles obs really well for less
emeet s600 is solid for streaming at $57, plug and play with obs and handles low light well. if you want ai tracking for more dynamic setup the pixy ($128) is good middle ground before jumping to $200+ options
i have been using emeet s600 on ubuntu and it worked plug and play, no driver issues at all. no built in lighting on it tho so i just grabbed a cheap ring light separately. linux compatibility was my main concern and had zero problems so far
emeet s600 has a software where you can adjust focus settings, been using it for similar setup where autofocus was going crazy. you can lock focus area or tweak it manually through their app. moderately priced too
Another good EMEET is the S600 SmartCam. Picked one up on BlackFriday for next to nothing. Easy to setup. Has a zoom 2 mics, 4k UHD, privacy screen . Works great with Zoom. Set it up on a TV table with a small portable tripod as use my TV as a monitor with the Mini hooked up to that.

I know this question has been asked many times already in the past but the older posts are.. old, and new tech comes out pretty fast these days.
I'm looking to use a webcam to track my model in vtube studio. I'm currently using the vtube studio android app to stream facial tracking data. If I get a webcam maybe I can use my phone with touchportal instead for more convenience.
I can't buy a used iPhone X or 11 mainly because they aren't available much and even then they cost a pretty penny.
I have seen people praise the Logitech C922 and it's already on my wishlist. But I recently came across another webcam from Lenovo called FHD 510 that captures in 1080p 60fps and has IR light emitter and IR camera as well. It has facial recognition technology that works with windows hello. This webcam also costs half as much of the Logitech one, at least in India it does.
Would the Lenovo webcam be a bad purchase? I saw it on Amazon and it was touting all these features.

Thank you for linking the video! I like the quality of the eMeet S600 better than the Lenovo FHD 510 Also turns out vtube studio doesn't make use of the IR sensors of those windows hello ready webcams.
I did find a website for refurbished iPhone 11 but that would set me back 15k INR, but at the same time it would allow me to use the ARkit face id tech they have.
