I have both the Elgato Facecam Pro and the Insta360 Link 2. I just got the Insta360 as a potential upgrade. My experience is that the Facecam Pro may be capable of a technically sharper image, but I could never get it to look as good. The auto balancing for exposure and color correction was terrible in my experience. After spending hours with it, I was able to get it to look good in one lighting setting. If that lighting changed, it would get horribly washed out and I'd have to do new manual settings. It's reviewed as a great camera, I just had a poor experience with it in practice. The Insta360 is just very slightly not as sharp (and is not capable of 4k60fps if that's important to you). But it's been a much friendlier camera for me. I still played with some settings and have some stuff on manual, but it's a lot more plug and play. The tracking is cool for keeping me centered in frame, and the ability to easily tilt it down is awesome. For instance, if I wanted to have a view of me playing guitar or keyboard, it's really easy to adjust to capture that. Also, unexpected bonus, the Insta360 is smaller and lighter than the Facecam Pro. I am a TERRIBLE leg bouncer. The Facecam had so much mass that it would subtly bounce with my leg, and nobody said anything about it until I moved to the new camera and the bouncing stopped lol. Also worth noting the Insta360 is a good bit cheaper than the Facecam Pro. I personally got good value and quality out of both cameras. Happy to DM you a YouTube link to one of my VODs before and after I made the camera change if it helps
r/Twitch β’ Good quality webcam ->I use an instalink 360 and it works really great. I've tried a Logitech Brio and a Lumina 4k also, but I like the instalink the best. https://amzn.to/4fAm268

r/MacStudio β’ 4K Web Cam for M2 Mac Studio -># Insta360 Link 2 4K Ultra HD 2-Axis Gimbal AI-Powered Webcam. I use one for my top down desktop review videos. They are under $200 on Amazon. Run it through OBS and record straight to disk.
r/PartneredYoutube β’ Are webcams worth it? ->I recently got the Insta360 Link2 and really like it. So much flexibility.
r/homeoffice β’ Seeking Webcam Recommendations for Online Teaching ->I have the Link 2. Yes itβs kickass
r/homeoffice β’ Looking for a high quality webcam (not logitech or similar) ->Also a Mac user. You could get blinds to block/filter the brightness from the window to reduce the harshness of light. In terms of camera, I recently got the Insta360 Link2 and have been pretty impressed with how it handles lighting. Also tracks you real well and has good depth of field for something so small.

r/macmini β’ What are you using for displays and web cams? ->If you're gonna spend that much get an insta360 link 2 or 2c
r/Twitch β’ Which face cam should I get as a beginner streamer? ->If you're gonna spend that much get an insta360 link 2 or 2c
r/Twitch β’ Which face cam should I get as a beginner streamer? ->Just nailed a insta360 link 2c Liking it but iPhone is great
r/macmini β’ Best webcam for the Mac mini Pro ->I like the Logitech C920 when I was starting out. Currently have the 2017 version of the Logitech BRIO, would never recommend that due to it's image quality and settings that you can't adjust unless you want the camera to be lagging. Currently working on the Insta360 Link2C due to a recent RandomFrankP vid. Another option you can try is using a Canon camera, my buddy is using a Rebel T7 with canon's webcam software, best quality I've seen.
r/Twitch β’ Webcam Suggestions? ->Insta360 Link 2c. Excellent webcam in low light.
r/Twitch β’ Which face cam should I get as a beginner streamer? ->If you don't have an iPhone, I can recommend Insta360 Link 2C. Image quality is great in low-ish light and the software is compatible with Mac
r/macmini β’ WEBCAM for MacMini? ->Hi, I have almost two years the Insta360 for homeoffice, online teaching and to record some Insta and promotional videos (Google Hangouts, Zoom, Teams) with a Mac Book Pro M1 Pro and a Mac Book Pro M4 Pro: 1. No lag 2. Not needed (tested with Zoom and Teams) 3. Yes, 100% recognition with all 4. There are a couple of settings (auto gestures) I cannot save by default on the Insta app and really annoys me because when I rise my arms or other gestures, I don't want to do nothing. To me is currently the only less good issue. All the other settings for Zoom/Teams, if they are setting at that app level, no issues. 5. It's all time connected to a 32' Dell Ultrasharp U3223qe integrated dock and I hadn't any issue.
r/homeoffice β’ Webcam: Insta360 vs Obsbot vs Logitech ? ->Sold my brio and bought a insta360 link 2C - best webcam out there
r/homeoffice β’ Webcam Recommend over the Logitech Brio? ->Iβve been trying to figure this out myself. There are so many opinions out there but I wanted something a bit more concrete, so I ended up buying 30 webcams (Iβm serious π) and tested them all myself. For around the $150 mark Iβd probably recommend the OBSBOT Meet 2 - I was genuinely impressed with how it looked right out of the box. You could also consider the Insta360 Link 2C or the Tiny 2 Lite if you want a gimbal (not really that useful for my needs tho). If youβre curious, I made a video covering all my testing: https://youtu.be/R0Lsrv8oOOk
r/obs β’ What would be the best webcam for recording? ->Insta360 Link and Obsbot Tiny2. The Link is better.
r/macmini β’ WEBCAM for MacMini? ->My first webcam was a cheap ish one from Amazon that lasted me about a year. Then I upgraded to a simple Logitech c922 pro for 1-2 years. Now I use the Insta360 Link webcam & have a Sony a6400 on hand as well. I moved my Logitech c922 to be a secondary angle cam. For lighting, I bought a 60ish dollar ring light on Amazon and have my webcam attached to it. I attach them to my desk w/ an arm. My goal in the beginning of my streaming journey was to spend as little money on equipment as possible and see what could still produce an okay quality. Lighting is KEYYY.
r/GirlGamers β’ what webcam + lighting do yall use for streaming?? ->+1 for the Insta 360 or Obsbot Tiny 2. I have the Insta on my setup and wife has the Obsbot and both do a fantastic job.
r/macmini β’ Best webcam for the Mac mini Pro ->If you want an awesome cam for a little more check out the insta360 link or the link 2 can be got for not much more and has full pan , tilt and zoom does 4k well too
r/Twitch β’ Which face cam should I get as a beginner streamer? ->I also use Insta360 Link
r/MacStudio β’ Studio Display For Mac Studio? Low Quality Camera? ->Insta 360. I even wrote an article about it. But TLTR it has the biggest image sensor with huge quality inprovement over others. Mic is also good, had no issues. https://medium.com/@filipluch/modern-webcams-beyond-the-hype-what-brands-and-influencers-arent-telling-you-77746a816408
r/homeoffice β’ Best webcam with a GREAT mic? ->If you want a fun one, I use the insta 360 with my dell monitor. They have a desktop webcam. Itβs way smaller than it looks.
r/mac β’ Webcam recommendations please for MacBook Pro and Dell monitor please. ->Check out the Insta360 Link webcam. The camera has way higher quality, lots of nice features, and fits perfectly on top of the Studio Display.
r/MacStudio β’ Studio Display For Mac Studio? Low Quality Camera? ->I would recommend the insta360 link. Even if it's the version one. Really great camera with really great quality easy to use and will outperform any of those for around the same price. But if you want a camera that will let you stream at 4K 60. Then the elgato FaceCam pro is only webcam that allows that. Otherwise you'll have to get like a Dlsr. Now with the other cameras they do 30 frames at 4K. But that's only for your webcam your stream itself will be able to be at 4K 60.
