I have the Insta360 Link 2 and it looks great, even better than my old Elgato Facecam Pro that I ended up selling.
I'm happy with my Insta360 Link 2. Does perform best with good lighting but sharpest image I've gotten out of a webcam yet, even above my Elgato Facecam Pro that I ended up selling
Insta360 Link 2. Best quality I've had in a webcam so far
Razer Kiyo Ultra Pro if you wanna spend the $$$ Insta360 Link 2 is probably the best webcam for the money and full of software features.

im using an insta360 link 2 and with good lighting its fantastic...except for on parts of any dark clothes or my dark beard, where it can look a little pixelly - but maybe thats something i can fix with the white balance or in post. im not too adept at these things yet - but honestly from a plug and play perspective, i think its great for lighting i have two ulanzi k6500 at 45° angles to my left and right from the front and top as a key and fill light -- and a smaller ulanzi vijim VL81 from above/front to fill in more of any shadows (this mightnt be so necessary tho) i got all of them on a neweer nk002 rig which is convenient for saving a bit of desk space. needed to get a couple extra clamps as the rig only came with one ball joint type clamp.
I'm currently using Insta360 Link 2. It's worth the price naman. Quality is great, especially with 4K. As for the low light, it handles well naman. Tho you would need some sort of front lighting pa rin for better quality. To answer some of your questions, 4K is not worth it sa streaming in my opinion. It just increases the sharpness/crispness ng feed pero not needed naman ang 4K. You can do 1080p30 nga eh. I wouldn't recommend a DSLR with cam link, kasi baka mas madali masira yung DSLR mo since laging nakataas yung mirror box nya. I would recommend the cam link if mirrorless yung gamit mo.
I finally moved away from using my Sony mirrorless because of battery and overheating issues on long streams. Grabbed an Insta360 Link 2 recently. I do miss the real bokeh of a DSLR lens sometimes, but the AI tracking and just having it plug-and-play without a capture card is totally worth the trade-off for me
Insta360 Link 2. Absolutely fantastic webcam! It’s the only external webcam I’ve used that is as good as built-in MacBook cameras for clarity and color accuracy.
I just got the Insta360 Link2 - https://a.co/d/2fGAxJQ It's pretty great. Very nice picture quality otb, and the tracking is just a bonus honestly. Highly suggest it if you're okay with the price.
OBSbot Tiny 4k and Insta360 Link 2 are great, i have the first Link.
if youre gonna full screen your face i'd go with a DLSR or mirrorless, but for regular gaming with your face on the bottom corner, i'd just get an Insta360 Link 2 or OBSBot Tiny 2. My Link works great for streaming.
