Ateam043 0.0+1 for the Insta 360 or Obsbot Tiny 2. I have the Insta on my setup and wife has the Obsbot and both do a fantastic job.

I was exactly in your position. And took apart webcams to find 10 years old tech. Most are crap but there's one decent barely acceptable: insta 360. I wrote a breakdown article about it with pictures and how I take them apart. Industry needs innovation. But entry barrier is expensive. I ended up with a mirrorless like you're saying.
