"It's small, which was important to me. ... My cats would have snapped one of those large rectangle ones off my monitor in a week max lol. ... This one is circular and very sturdy if you're someone who drops things a lot or needs space on your desk."

"dont get brio unless you want to be dealing with its OBS zoom/position settings constantly resetting."
I’m using Logitech Brio 305 connected by USB C and very happy.
Any dslr would easily beat both my webcams (Logitech Brio 300, Microsoft Lifecam HD 3000)
I have a Logitech Brio 301 USB-C with integrated microphone. It works very well with TEAMS on a Mac mini and I am like 5-8 hours a day on TEAMs.
Plugged in a Logitech Brio 300 (USB-C), and it worked just fine
Image quality is as good as it gets for a 1080 resolution camera. My couch is about 6-7ft away as well.
I use the Logitech Brio 300 and I like it :) its around $70 on Amazon at the moment. it can stand on its own or clip to the monitor, the leg design gives lots adjustable height and angle options. It has a flip cover for privacy and there's a large yellow light that comes on whenever the camera or mic is being accessed. It's small, which was important to me. My cats would have snapped one of those large rectangle ones off my monitor in a week max lol. This one is circular and very sturdy if you're someone who drops things a lot or needs space on your desk. It still takes in a good amount of light and gives off a clear image despite its size. It comes in black, white and pink so maybe you can even select an option that matches your stuff! I have a couple of twitch VODs using the brio so if you'd like to check the quality I can take a screenshot and add an imgur link to the comments.
Logitech Brio 300 does work and it has usb-c plug, so no adapters needed.
I don't think I've had one die. I had an Anker PowerConf webcam, which is a brand I trust generally, just not work well with my PC. Half the time the image would be glitchy, it required software to remember the FOV and it wouldn't work. Switched to the Logitech Brio and it's been a tank, no issues. FOV is perfect, I don't need everyone seeing my whole room, just me.
I use an Anker Powerconf C200, it works great in low light and does 1080p/60. I only use some LED lights at around 40% brightness with mood lighting and my monitor brightness is set pretty low and my camera quality is great. I have a Logitech Litra Glow key light as well, but I rarely ever use it unless I'm really trying to light something up. Some of the Logitech cameras work fairly well in lower light too, like the C920, C720, and anything in the Brio line.
IMHO, no, there isn't. I have had multiple Logitech Brio and various other cameras and used them with Windows Hello and I always find that they take way too long time to actually respond and sign you in. Apple's camera is instantly -- doesn't even take half a second on newer phones. Windows' takes like 2~3 seconds at times just to engage the damn camera. I constantly fall back to using a basic PIN code to unlock my Windows devices as a result as that's by far the quickest unlock method I've found.
I have the Brio, this is correct. The c922 is a well documented workhorse.
