I use a logitech Brio 4K, which is great. But would nevertheless recommend the Brio 500. Which performs similar but costs a lot less

I pretty much stick to Logitech when it comes to webcams, keyboards and mice. Quality has always been solid, and I have never had an issue. I have a Brio 4K, a Brio 500 and a C922 on various machines and all have been excellent. I would just suggest going to their site and find the webcam that fits your budget/feature needs and pull the trigger.

I feel you, I use two old iphones that are no longer in use for the same reason-- I watch chat on my current phone! That being said, plenty of useable webcams out there. Whats your budget? I personally like the look of the Brio 500 and you can find it for under $90. The C920 is a good bang for your buck, I think it's about $60.

For background, I'm on a variety of Zoom, Teams, WebEx, and Google Meet meetings 5-6 hours every day, so those are the paces I've put the hardware through below. I've gone through two Logitech C930 webcams, and a Razer Kiyo Pro before landing on the Logitech Brio 500. While the Kiyo had great features, it was glitchy and my laptop had trouble with the processing load even with 64gb RAM. The Brio has great resolution, tracks if you move and keeps you in center frame, and has excellent low light compensation. Glad I took a risk on it. I've used a Jabra Speak 710 every work day since 2019 and it's just now starting to lose audio clarity on the speaker, but it's been a workhorse. I switched to the Poly Sync 20 about a month ago and have been pleased with it so far. Couldn't pass up the $45 deal on Amazon for it. Hope this helps.

I have used a few webcam setup for video calls in the past, like a full dslr, fujifilm xt200, which had great picture quality of course, but it was hugely bulky. I also used a brio 500 1080p for a while which was fine, logitune has some customizable features like auto tracking and it didn't take up hardly any space but the picture quality was not that great. I recently got a pixel 6 with a broken screen and figured out that it could be used as a webcam and I am thoroughly surprised how good it is. The pixel phone when connected to a computer, pc or mac, gets automatically detected as android webcam. The picture quality is superb, similar to a DSLR and it has really good built in autofocus. If you can get a cheap pixel 6 where the cameras function for around $100, that is the best webcam you can get imo. Only issue perhaps is that, the phone can get hot sometimes, but I haven't seen it shut off or anything. And there is a minimal amount of camera controls, outside of zoom and switching to front facing camera. Make sure that the "HQ" at the bottom left is enabled to get the highest quality. Also I recommend gets a right angle type c cable to reduce the cable mess.

Brio 500 or c922. Used both as a streamer. Looks better quality then my Sony A6400

I have the Brio 500 and so far love it. I'm light-sensitive and tend to stream in fairly low light conditions (multiple lights, just set low) - it handles that beautifully.

I use the Brio 500 on mine and even the Logi Tune software works on MacOS and allows a decent amount of customization. I've used it for Teams, Zoom, FaceTime and WebEx with no quality issues whatsoever. I wonder what happened to break the 4k model?

Its really good Brio is better for both lighting and audio, this price is way high though, I dont know why I paid 30 for the last one I bought.

I 3rd the Brio statement. Mine was hot garbage, no matter how perfect I made my lighting.

I got the OBSbot earlier this week. Can’t speak to the Elgato but it bodies the Brio in my opinion (even though I got the 1080p OBSbot) one of the best webcams I’ve seen

Elgato c920 is the gold-standard starter cam. You can find them on-sale for around $50 usually. Of those three, I'd go with the Elgato. Avoid the BRIO like the basket-case shitgoblin it is (I have two sitting on the shelf, they're worthless little turdbuckets that constantly error and look like absolute crap, even compared to a c920; I bought them when they first came out as their whitesheet makes them look like the perfect cam, but THEY ARE NOT). > Btw, I do stream at 4k60 You must be streaming to YouTube, then? Because Twitch's max bitrate would make any 4K60 stream look like hot fried poop. Absolutely unwatchable. Doubling down on the Facecam Mk2 (or bump up to the Pro), it's going to give the best quality out of the three.

My friends and I did notice it looked like a USB-C port in the Direct. The confirmation is appreciated. Glad I can just use my Brio Webcam

I 2nd the brio sentiment here. I have done everything in my power to make it look good and it only looks DECENT in perfectly lit situations.

Also in Canada. I bought my Brio (heard it was better than these ones) off Best Buy - open box deal was $100

I have a Logitech HD 1080p webcam. Works great on Xbox and PC. I use it between work and streaming. Not the best but honestly does the job if you have the right lighting
