"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"For an open style earbud, these genuinely surprised me with their overall performance in sound at this price point. ... IMHO, these Soundpeats PearlClip Pro are probably the best I’ve heard in this under $50 price category when it comes to this style of earbuds. ... These are one of the best clip-on earbuds in this price category especially when it comes to price to performance in sound quality and feature set"
"Excellent detail retrieval ... The Aether raises the bar for the entire IEM industry. ... It represents a tectonic shift in what consumers can expect in both tonal purity and technical prowess per dollar. ... The Aether’s capacity to resolve detail eclipses many much more expensive IEMs both old and new alike."

"Netgear Orbi which I think is very easy to setup and use. ... Orbi is more beginner friendly and easier to setup up. ... With Orbi it’s just one thing to plug in and it just works. I am literally up and running in 10 minutes. ... I’ve done three Orbi installations in the past year and never had any problems."
"the air75 was super easy to hook up to the radio pocket and beta flight is such a breeze to navigate, I got everything connected and setup in about 30mins to an hour."
"70 bucks plug and play. As easy as it gets."

"I got a Logitech C922, its a 1080P webcam and ive never felt the need to swap it out, it works great and the quality is more than youll need."
"If you twitch stream, it works great too since 1080p is all you need if you’re gonna put your face in the corner."
"1080p30 with decent image quality if your lighting setup is at least OK."

"Just make sure it can hit 60fps if possible—feels way smoother."
"Logitech have the c922 that can do 60fps in 1080p tho."
"Logitech c922 can do 720p60"

"I only wanted it to run a code editor. ... Truly awful washed out colours and poor text definition."
"I can't stand the way the colors show up. ... When I open up the camera settings for adjustment, there's nothing really to do for the coloration.. Just to turn HD on/off, adjust brightness."
"The auto balancing for exposure and color correction was terrible in my experience. ... If that lighting changed, it would get horribly washed out and I'd have to do new manual settings."

"Its cos theyre old models that while known to produce good/great images theyve never been innovative. ... That means they suck power, dont have any recent tech."
"The 5050UB has been long stated to be one of the best values for quality in the industry, but it is long overdue for a laser update to it."
"I would not even have looked into alternatives if it wasn't for Epson dropping 3D."

"its software sucks ass and you have to re do your settings frequently which is annoying."
"less firmware/settings-remembering issues than Logitech can have"

"the c922 is marketed as a 1080p webcam but it has image tearing and works best at a lower quality"
"The downside is, it’s only 30 fps so you’ll get a lot of motion blur unless you can change the shutter speed."
"I have a 922 Pro, it's 1080p30, so not a 60 fps cam if you need to be in 1080p."

"I also hate it, it's hard to get the colors right, even in good light. ... Still, that will not change it's bad image quality when it comes to colors. It wash out almost anything."
"The c922 that people are suggesting is markedly worse than any of these choices and despite what people tell you, lighting is not going to fix that."
"I have the c922 pro and it looks like crap IMO ... My cellphone as a webcam does better video quality"
other comments have pretty much told you what you’re looking for here, basically the no name amazon brands are really untrustworthy, so if you actually get the specs theyre advertising you would be pretty lucky. i have a recc for a mid range cam for you, the logitech c922 pro cam is pretty decent at least by my standards. i got it half price for about $50 AUD a couple years ago, so for the price point its good quality, havent had any issues apart from sometimes colours/skin looking a little washed out (though i am sure theres a way for me to fix it, just havent looked into it yet) autofocus is honestly by my standards great for a cam this price too be sure to research further yourself to see if you like ir though, good luck 🤞
My first webcam was a cheap ish one from Amazon that lasted me about a year. Then I upgraded to a simple Logitech c922 pro for 1-2 years. Now I use the Insta360 Link webcam & have a Sony a6400 on hand as well. I moved my Logitech c922 to be a secondary angle cam. For lighting, I bought a 60ish dollar ring light on Amazon and have my webcam attached to it. I attach them to my desk w/ an arm. My goal in the beginning of my streaming journey was to spend as little money on equipment as possible and see what could still produce an okay quality. Lighting is KEYYY.
I’ve been messing with the new webcam tracking too—Logitech C920/C922 seems to be the go-to for a reason. Decent FOV, solid tracking, and doesn’t break the bank. Just make sure it can hit 60fps if possible—feels way smoother. Heard mixed things about fancy cams like OBSBOT. Cool tech, but not sure VRChat plays nice with all that auto-framing yet.

I have a 922 Pro, it's 1080p30, so not a 60 fps cam if you need to be in 1080p. I also hate it, it's hard to get the colors right, even in good light. For now I am only using it as a top down cam, and not my main cam. For my main can I use an Elgato Facecam MK.2. And that is a 1080p60 cam, and the colors are much better. But to be honest, for a relatively cheap, and good webcam, with 4k30/1080p/60, I would have a look at the OBSBOT Meet 2. You can also get the OBSBOT Meet SE, at 1080p/100fps if you don't need the 4k resolution, for an even cheaper price.
I have a Logitech C922 Pro which works quite well & a cheap AliExpress endoscope camera to watch the nozzle.
A third for C920/C922. Been using them for years. They are fantastic.
Logitech C920 is still the goat for budget streaming tbh. Been using mine for like 3 years and it's solid, usually goes on sale for around $50-60. If you can stretch a bit more the C922 has better low light performance but honestly the difference isn't huge
I used the C922 pro which I got used for like 60€ 5 years ago and it never failed me, I don’t really stream anymore but it still works great whenever I use it
I used a Logitech c922 and after setting up simple 2 point lighting my stream looked a lot more professional. Knowing some basic lighting and framing techniques will help you more than spending a bunch of money on an expensive camera
