I had a Logitech c930e and was pretty disappointed with the quality (which I think is in the same class as the c922). I have an old Pixel android phone and installed DroidCam and the DroidCam driver for OBS. It is ridiculously good quality. If you have a spare Android phone, you could save a ton of money using it as your webcam (or even your daily driver phone). There's another webcam driver for Android called "Iriun webcam" that I've seen recommended too, but I can't speak to the software's quality - I've only tried DroidCam.
yea c930 here, seeing all the ppl in the comments using 300-400$ webcams is so funny to me hah, id love to have a razer kiyo pro one day
Yes, I plug it into the usb port on CalDigit hub. Logitech 930 cam. Works great.
Well I have the Logi C930e but it doesn't work on my Switch 2. If plugged in it only recognizes the microphone but no video.
Yes I noticed a difference - the YouTube video in the post gives you a glimpse, but the Logitech C930e was the clearest of the four I tried (although the C920 was close).
Just played some Mario Kart World multiplayer using CameraPlay with my Logitech C930e - it works just like it did during the Mario Party Jamboree Treehouse stream. You move a circle to the appropriate person for each player and it stays on that spot while you play - my understanding is that there isn’t true face tracking with any camera (meaning it won’t follow your face if you move), official camera or otherwise.
Late last week I shared a [video](https://youtu.be/ZqXMybyjFQM?si=UqioJFr1cPmbWkDA) that showcased the general compatibility of various USB webcams with the Nintendo Switch 2. After reviewing a lot of questions from the reddit thread and the YouTube comments, I thought it would be helpful to put together a deeper dive into the microphone / video quality of various webcams, including the Official Switch 2 Camera and the Hori Piranha Plant Camera. I also included the Logitech C930e, C920, C615, and the Razer Kiyo. Here's the link if you're interested in seeing it for yourself: [https://youtu.be/e2Z5nA02yjg](https://youtu.be/e2Z5nA02yjg) To summarize my findings, the Piranha Plant webcam was easily the worst of the bunch. And the Official Switch 2 camera seemed like the best - it was overall pretty clear and had a VERY wide angle lens compared to the rest. With that said, given the camera use-cases we see on the Switch 2 today, it's hard to justify a new purchase if you already have a decent webcam at home. The C930e and C920 were so close to the official camera that most people probably wouldn't notice. But if you have anything to share about your experience, would love to hear it in the comments! Finally, here's a link to the reddit post I made last week that includes a LOT of helpful comments from the community, detailing which cameras work / don't work: [https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch2/comments/1l3u56w/switch\_2\_usb\_webcam\_test\_results\_all\_four\_webcams/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button](https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch2/comments/1l3u56w/switch_2_usb_webcam_test_results_all_four_webcams/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
I've been looking for a thread like this. I've also tried a c930e and Streamcam, both work docked and undocked, and show up as mic input too I've tried the Anker c200, which I had high hopes for as it's a higher resolution, which is good for cropping/zooming... but it doesn't seem to recognise it.
My Switch 2 recognize the Logitech 930e as a Webcam, but I only can use it as a microphone. Do I need USB-C Adapter?

Logitech C930e has a 90 degree field of view. MSRP is $130, but I'm seeing sale prices under $100.
