Logitech Reach works! An impostor Nintendo Switch 2 Camera masquerading with a $349 retail price. ninja edit: Oh the Reach is just a Logitech Streamcam repackaged and marketed to teachers.
Wait... you are using a webcam in a conference room? Ya, that's not going to produce anything that could be construed as "quality" lol. Care to expound on the "YouTube demos show grainy, low-detail footage" comment? Zoom and Teams downscale the webcam and any transmitted video to 720p, so that's the most you are going to get. You can pay extra for 1080p with Zoom. However, a 4k image downscaled to 720p will still look better than a native 720p image. Also, a dedicated PTZ conferencing camera will have far more processing power on-board than any webcam, enabling better white balance, backlight compensation, etc. Ditch the PC, Mixer and Mics, and outfit it and any other meeting spaces with Logi Rally products (or any other all-in-one type solution like the Poly X series). Put them in Zoom mode, and enable Google Meet third-party join. Logi Swytch to enable the BYOM capabilities, or HDMI extender if all you want is content sharing into Zoom. I like Poly more than Logi personally... Less proprietary cabling but the expansion capabilities of Logi are tempting like the mic pods for larger spaces. Don't cheap out. I promise you will regret it eventually. Buy the TAP IP for a controller and use the recommend room sizes the manufacturer recommends to decide what to purchase. Ideally, Hire an integrator to design, install and commission.
Makes sense, I don't think you will regret it. Logitech has a bunch of wiring diagrams available to make sure you know how to hook it up in all sorts of configurations. Running the Logitech Rally system. They may be just a tad more, but it made our user complaints go from about 30% of those using the room prior (two different bar style systems) to 0%.
We have around 60 zoom rooms. Absolute most use Logitech Conference Cam Group HW. It’s pretty decent for its price and we pair it with iPad. It’s not all in one but we usually can setup the room for around 1500 with a small pc, iPad and the cam group. There is also Logitech meetup but that works for meeting rooms max of 6 people and still needs pc and a controller.
Logitech Rally system is easy to install and very stable. Connect it to a Nuc Pc with windows 11 and Intune autopilot. You must have Microsoft teams room pro licence and it works like a charm. He can support zoom and Webex too.
Running a Logitech Rally system in these size rooms.
Logitech Rally Group Cam and mics work great. https://www.logitech.com/en-us/business/room-configurator.html We ripped out a ton of Crestron and replaced with Logi gear and it has been a dream. Super reliable, perfect integration with Zoom. Rally bars are great for permanent install, but Rally Group Cam packs nice in a box for mobile setup.
