OBSBOT - Meet 2-4K

OBSBOT Meet 2 or Insta360 Link 2 / Insta360 Link 2C - these should be better I think. You can compare them though and purchase what you like the most. Edit: I've seen you have the OBSBOT Meet 2 in the pics. I recommend that the most among the pics.

Obsbot meet 2, it's the best i had yet - most versatile doesn't mess up the quality when zooming in, super performance and overall the best on Auto settings too HMU if u need more info or Tipps when u got one 😁 (as near as u can get to an DSLR from an webcam quality wise and also so small u safe space) Note- i heard about some saying it overheats etc but i never had that problem at all and the integration with the Streamdeck is a fun game changer!

I have a 922 Pro, it's 1080p30, so not a 60 fps cam if you need to be in 1080p. I also hate it, it's hard to get the colors right, even in good light. For now I am only using it as a top down cam, and not my main cam. For my main can I use an Elgato Facecam MK.2. And that is a 1080p60 cam, and the colors are much better. But to be honest, for a relatively cheap, and good webcam, with 4k30/1080p/60, I would have a look at the OBSBOT Meet 2. You can also get the OBSBOT Meet SE, at 1080p/100fps if you don't need the 4k resolution, for an even cheaper price.

I think the obsbot meet 2 is very good. Link2 probably better if try use a little piece of paper or electrical tape over the light if that intrusive. I don’t notice mine on the OBSbot. OBSbot has others similar to insta360 I don’t think there is a light on those. I check some video reviews on them to make sure they have the features you want.

I’ve used obsbot meet 2 and meet se and both are fantastic. Great image quality! I downgraded from the meet 2 to se since I was only using 1080p and am happy with my choice!

If you’re planning on just doing 1080p I’d save the cash and go meet se. Are you just using it for face cam? The Meet 2 does have 4k60 capabilities and the Autofocus is better. Up to you if that’s worth almost double the price.

I’ve just got the Obsbot Meet 2 4K and used it for the first time today. Overall seems very good, excellent quality. The face tracking seems a little laggy and doesn’t always initiate but no big deal because I don’t move around much. Autofocus seems to get stuck for a short while before it snaps back. It seems to be defaulted to 1080 @ 30 so had to change it in settings but it hasn’t switched back. The first attempt at a firmware update failed but the second attempt worked fine. I have it connected to my monitor which is connected to my Mac with a single USB C and it works great. It’s absolutely tiny and looks great. The magnetic mount is good and it’s nice to be able to just pick it up and move around. The manual lens cap is a little annoying and is strong enough to pull it off the mount if you don’t use two hands to remove it. Overall for the price, I’m really happy and would recommend.

Whatever you do, don’t get the brio. I’d lean towards the OBSbot. It’s the same price as the Facecam MkII, and yeah you’ll only be streaming at 1080p, but the image will be that much sharper if your face cam is ever full screen if you’re running the webcam at 4k. The downside is, it’s only 30 fps so you’ll get a lot of motion blur unless you can change the shutter speed. If all you want is 1080p60, the Mk II is a fine choice and opens up the camera hub software for you which is a great piece of software.

On sale, I’m sure it’s fine. But the OBSbot looks better in my opinion, and for the the same price as the Facecam. It’s also on sale for $10-15 off pretty often. But again, it’s just my opinion.

I’d suggest the OBSbot or Insta360 Link 2. Both are 4k30, look great out of the box, and cost between $130 and $150. And if you’re not moving around a lot, 4k30 would be just fine. Both cameras come with software that allows you to fine tune the camera much like Elgato’s camera hub software.

Insta360 Link 2c or the OBSbot. Both output up to 4k30 which is fine for most YT videos. I will say though, quality audio is more important than quality video. Just because you have a Blue Yeti and a 4k webcam doesn’t mean people will stick around for your content if the video looks great but the audio is shit.

OBSbot Meet 2 or the Insta360 Link 2. Both are around the same price, something like $120-130, and both look especially good for webcams. I would probably stay away from getting a mirrorless or dslr unless you plan on using it as something other than a dedicated streaming camera as well. I have an old a5100 that I use, but I bought it for photography first and just happen to use it as a stream camera. Even used on MPB, just the body for an a5100 is still $300 or so. Then you tack on a lens, capture card, etc. it starts to get real pricey to justify buying one exclusively for streaming unless you’re someone that draws in a ton of viewers.

I purchased the Osbot Meet 2. I am satisfied It is working well and I didn't bother downloading the software.

i got an obsot meet 2 - its been solid so far can either run 4k 30fps or 1080 60fps and has hdr prob one of the better webcams out there now if u dont wanna go dslr

I personally went for the obs bot meet 2-4k camera and I love it, it’s a plug and go type of camera

I'm using the OBSBot Meet 2 which is relatively new. I'm a big fan of the cam which has a big sensor. A big sensor means more light, more light means you don't have to use a big light for your stream. That's a win for me. Maybe it's for you.

Well Since I didnt get a response I bought both cameras from Amazon and returned the one I didnt like.. If anyone reads this or runs into the same issue the Elgato Facecam MK.2 was a disaster to setup in OBS with a green screen and pretty good lighting.. I tried and tried and tweaked and still couldnt get it right. I plugged in the OBSBot Meet 2 and it was almost perfect right out of the box, With some minor tweaks its crystal clear @ 1080p60. Dont even waste your time with the Elgato Facecam MK.2

Obsbot is awesome. I use two webcams and the meet 2 is the only one anyone has ever thought so much of they complimented my video quality. Plus, you can take it anywhere.

I tried the Elgato Facecam MK.2, OBSBOT Meet 2 and Insta360 Link 2C. I decided to keep the Link 2C because it looks best imo.

Obsbot meet 2 is perfect "budget" ($130) option.

I'm using the OBSBOT Meet 2 Webcam. It's around $120 and looks as good as a DSLR imho, with a lot less technical know-how needed to make it work. It also satisfied my two requirements: decent auto focus that actually brings me into proper focus, and letting the background fall slightly out of focus so it's less obtrusive.

True, tbh the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra is the closest one out of them to a DLSR camera, but easier to setup so it depends on the user imo. Also yep agree, I've got the C922 there

In my testing the Elgato out of the box was significantly worse as far as colors and light than the others, but yeah, once u tune it. you can get close to the others

I’d recommend checking out some comparison videos if you haven’t already. Even after being configured in a controlled lighting setup, the Elgato Facecam MK.2 still looked worse and less natural than the Obsbot Meet 2 did straight out of the box for me (for the same price). After browsing a lot of threads too, I'm not the only one. A lot of people are disappointed with the Elgato, and when compared to the Obsbot, it almost always loses

The best webcam overall for most people will be: OBSBOT Meet 2 - $129. If money is no question then Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra 4K - $300. I went for the razer one

I recently got the Pro after my original Facecam started to fail at ~3.5 years old. I picked up the OBSCAM Meet 2 first for $99, but it's software is worse than Camera Hub. The camera itself is very small and puts out a decent looking 4K30 image, but I'd have issues with the camera sleeping and refusing to wake up, or with it randomly being 400% zoom level when I opened OBS. I was considering the new 4K, but the larger aperture on the Pro seemed worth it to me since lighting can be tricky in my home office. I've only been using the Pro for a few days, but the mostly auto settings are working better than full manual settings did on the OG Facecam. Still working on dialing it in more.

I’ve had one since last October. It’s incredible. It’s way overkill. I use it for work calls, streaming, and recording myself doing various stuff. Would I have bought it? Probably not, but it was an anniversary gift from my wife. It’s a great camera, and honestly now I don’t see the need to upgrade to a mirrorless camera at any point in the future. I stream in 1080p downscaled to 720p for Twitch, but recording is done in 2k or 4k and it looks great. I have a C920 as a secondary camera. The Tiny 2 is a massive improvement over the C920 in the same lighting setup at the same resolution. But the C920 still looks good.

Definitely go for Obsbot Meet 2. I’ve upgraded from Logitech C920 because 920 is capped at 30fps so it would often lag behind the audio since I stream in 1080p60. Meet 2 is a much better choice. Image quality is so good

Well I personally don’t have any with it (Meet 2). A great alternative to Elgato

$16 and full of AI reviews, sure. Logitech or OBSBOT cams are your best bet. Great value for money

I use OBS as the streaming software and an Obsbot Meet 2 webcam. It plugs in with USB to your PC and, if you could get OBS to work, you could capture your game and your webcam simultaneously, stream or record, and the file would save already synced up with the visuals laid out however you want. There are a lot of tutorials on YT for how to do it. Mic isn't the best, but no camera mic is. Don't know what you're doing for a mic, but I'd say it's more important than the webcam. I've been really happy with my FDUCE SL40, also just plugs in with USB and is ready to go, sounds good.

I’ve been trying to figure this out myself. There are so many opinions out there but I wanted something a bit more concrete, so I ended up buying 30 webcams (I’m serious 😂) and tested them all myself. For around the $150 mark I’d probably recommend the OBSBOT Meet 2 - I was genuinely impressed with how it looked right out of the box. I was in exactly the same boat as you and struggled getting a convincing recommendation. After lots of testing, I’d probably recommend the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra if you’re really looking for the best image quality and you can put up with some quirks (the auto focus is a bit annoying; I just have it manually set). Honestly it really depends on what you’re looking for. My two I would suggest would be an Elgato FaceCam (4K if you really wanna pop) or the OBSBOT Meet 2. The latter has tech in it that can track your movement and even use vocal commands to change zooms and such. Both of these you can get below $200 and as far as looks go, it’s perfect unless you’re doing craft/building streams.

My OBSBOT Meet 4K also doesn't appear to work :( what are the chances of this getting fixed? Would an update have to come from the camera manufacturer or nintendo?

The brio is pretty good for its price. Make sure you get the one you have shown here if you choose brio. The newer one is honestly worse quality in terms of picture. I would not get the egato facecam unless you can get the pro, which is significantly more expensive but has insanely good picture quality for a webcam. Its almost indistinguishable from an actual DSLR. I'd say the obsbot is probably a little bit better than the brio in quality. The c922 that people are suggesting is markedly worse than any of these choices and despite what people tell you, lighting is not going to fix that. You're going to want good lighting for any camera you use.

Honestly if you have ANY phone made within the last 5 years that you don't need to monitor your stream.. USE IT... Most phone have at least 1080 recording .. that's enough to get you atleast in the game. If you looking to upgrade for the sake of upgrading the Sony you mentioned would be OVERKILL and way to expensive for gaming streams and the occasional IRL.. I would say check fbook market place for Sony, Canon, or the random Nikon that are full body cameras for reasonable prices. Ofcourse if you just need a webcam to get you thru it.. Logitech c920 , Razer kiyo pro , it any of the OBSBOT cams are a good choice. All are around $200 it less
