I have the OBSbot meet se. the software is easy to use to make it the best it can be which is surprisingly clean and clear. For $50 I paid at the time.
I haven’t had over heating. Max hours I ever used it was about 5 never shut down or over heated on me.
The software is basic pretty simple so not many options. Only took me about 20 minutes to get what I consider the best quality image and color I could get.
If yours is professional, buy what they recommend. If your desire is to improve your image without spending so much, I recommend the obsbot meet se, it improves incredibly
Your comment makes no sense. The OP is asking for a **webcam**, not a regular camera, because they’re looking at a BRIO. I said the OBSBot Meet SE is a good alternative, and yes, the quality of this webcam (which is what the OP asked about) is more than fine. Then you bring up a 400-euro camera and say the Sony ZV-1F is much better in quality. I really don’t see the point of your comment. Or are you just trying to justify why you spent 400 euros on a camera for streaming to your 2 viewers.
Hi! I am looking for budget webcam recommendations for video calls to use with my dual monitor setup. I used to use my Macbook pro camera but recently got an extra monitor and cannot keep it open now.
I know the continuity camera is an option but for some reason, it does not work for me all the time in some apps like Google meet on Chrome. Budget is close to 50$.
EDIT: Thanks for the reply and suggestions everyone! I decided to try out the OBSBOT Meet Se and the Anker PowerConf C200 cams. Going to keep the OBSBOT camera most likely since it is so much better in image quality than the PowerConf, even though it's just 1080p vs 2k. Slightly on the expensive side but well worth the difference once I tried both out.
I don't like the narrow field of view but looks great for the price! I was thinking of the meet se which is 70$ right now and pretty expensive but seems to be the best reviewed
