Get anything by OBSBOT. Their sensors and software are far above the 3 Logitech and 2 Elgato cams I've used. Never feels like I'm fighting against driver update BS or trying to get back to the exact same white balance *that is supposedly stored on the camera (Elgato)*. Go with a Meet like I did if you don't need/want the cool auto head tracking gimbal base. Comes with a standard monitor and surface mount base. Or could screw in your own mount like I did to attach it to a flexi-arm desk mount. The small size was a surprising bonus: I can have it next to my large monitor(s) without the awkward, oblique camera angle, instead of blocking part of the screen like I had to with the others.
I love the Obsbot! Tracking is good, works well in low light, and when I got it the price was comparatively low!
Look at the OBSBot Meet, very tiny cameras but I've been happy with the one I picked up as a secondary cam. 400 is very limiting for one camera nevermind 3 😵
I am going with Obstbot
Look into the OBSBOT webcams cause the meet se i have and it looks so dam good for $60
I’d suggest the OBSbot or Insta360 Link 2. Both are 4k30, look great out of the box, and cost between $130 and $150. And if you’re not moving around a lot, 4k30 would be just fine. Both cameras come with software that allows you to fine tune the camera much like Elgato’s camera hub software.
Insta360 Link 2c or the OBSbot. Both output up to 4k30 which is fine for most YT videos. I will say though, quality audio is more important than quality video. Just because you have a Blue Yeti and a 4k webcam doesn’t mean people will stick around for your content if the video looks great but the audio is shit.
I have a mirrorless, but that’s only because I also do photography as a hobby. Something like an OBSbot or Link 2c would look just fine with proper lighting. If you wanted to go a step up, the Kiyo Pro 4k or Elgato Facecam pro have bigger sensors. But for a mirrorless camera, plus the lens, you’re talking close to $800. In worse lighting, a mirrorless or DLSR with a good lens will objectively look better because the sensor is bigger which allows it to capture more light. But unless you’re making money from streaming, a decent 4k webcam with good lighting is just fine. Way too many people put way too much stock into their camera. Focus on your audio and lighting first. Once you have those squared away, then think about getting a mirrorless camera and lens. But don’t let anyone tell you that you need to get one just to have good video.
OBSbot it's got nice filters too included. It's got A I tracking ect very nice cam ☺️
