I have the Kiyo, an older model (idk if theyve updated since like 5 years ago when i bought it), but it sucks imo. Idk if I just havent set it up right or what but its super mid in terms of quality.

Bought a Razer Kiyo after seeing it here and a few other places as working. It does not, I just get a white screen.

Yes, it's the standard Razer Kiyo with the ring light. I updated the firmware to the latest version and still had the same problem. Possible it's defective--when I would press the B button to back out of the Test USB Camera screen, no inputs would work on the controller until I unplugged the camera from the USB port (tried both the dock's USB-A and the console's USB-C, same thing). System recognized a camera had been plugged in, and the microphone does work under the Audio menu. Camera works fine when I plug it in to my PC.

I don't understand either. I returned it and got the Switch 2 official camera instead, which works just fine. Best guess is a compatibility issue with the Kiyo 2.3.x firmware (was out of the box with version 2.3.0 and I updated to v2.3.2\_r2 when it didn't work) and the current Switch 2 system software (20.3.0). Would like to hear anyone who has a working Kiyo to chime in and verify. Would really like to use a better quality camera, but if system/firmware updates can break the compatibility, the official one seems the safest bet. Oh well.

Elgato Facecam Neo, Razer Kiyo, if you want a built-in light or Logitech c920 series. Take your pick, all for less $100 usd typically

I use just a wired keyboard and Logitech mx Wireless mouse. For camera I use a Razer Kiyo which is great. People usually comment how much better it looks than most of the $30 1080p cameras we hand out to people. For microphone I use a Blue Yeti which sits off to the corner of my desk and for speakers I use a little mini USB soundbar. It’s nice not having to wear a headset and can just sit down and go. I really do need to invest in a better wireless keyboard but just have had other priorities.

It's most definitely a budget webcam, wrapped as a premium product. But it's like €45 now so if your room is well-lit, this cam will suffice. But don't expect endboss quality video.

I have the razor kiyo and while I agree with you on the amazing quality, it has bricked my computer like another person in this thread stated. Everything freezes up and I have to unplug and plug it back in and reset everything.
