PlayStation Eye

I tried the Ps3 eye but it kept lossing my face when I turned more than 5º makiing the view shake like crazy. It would shake so bad that I couldnt even click around the cockpit.

PS3 Eye is also shitty quality and might still work on w10/w11

PS3 Eye Cam. It can give 185 FPS at 320p. If you use it with IR LEDs, this FPS makes it better than TrackIR 5.

i own like five of them because theyre a euro fifty each at my local CeX and they work native on linux and the onboard mic isn't even bad

YO, I was using PS3 eye camera about 3 years ago, last month I found it out of nowhere and I wanted to use it however cannot find proper driver but CLeye, is there a chance you have a driver that will make it work like native USB cam?

If you can find one of the old PS3 Eye cameras, they work brilliantly for head tracking. High frame rate, wide FOV and easy to convert to IR tracking if you want to upgrade at any point.

The PS3Eye camera works brilliantly for this sort of thing. High frame rate, wide angle of view and cheap as chips. Mine is modified to only detect infrared light, which picks up three IR LEDs attached to my headset. All that was required for the modification was adding a couple of squares of photographic film behind the lens. Highly recommended!
