Thanks!! I’m going to choose the YoloCam S3 over the OBSBOT Tiny after going through both spec sheets and comparing them side by side. My use case is mostly online meetings and recordings, seated at a desk. I’m on a Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 (Windows 11), and my audio is already sorted with a RØDE PodMic USB and Etymotic ER2-XR IEMs via the Apple USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter. So the Tiny’s built-in mics and tracking don’t add value for me. On specs alone, I think image quality is essentially on par. For my setup, the S3 wins because it’s fixed, predictable, has no moving parts, and offers stronger manual image and colour control for a clean, consistent “set-and-forget” look. Tiny makes sense if you move around or need PTZ/tracking. For desk-based meetings and recordings, the S3 is the cleaner choice.
YoloCam S3 is the most well-balanced webcam across all aspects.
Lots of posts recently enquiring about webcams! I recently got a Yolocam s3 (left side) and I am loving it - thought id share a comparison image. Here it is in contrast with my Logitech MX Brio - these my original settings for my brio but you can see the difference in clarity/depth. It has a real DSLR feel and records videos beautifully. My content sales on MV/LF + OF have really improved since using it. The cons are: it has a bit of a freak out if you have lots of apps that use the camera at the same time and if you are multistreaming you need to use OBS or it wont work. The USB port is a bit flimsy too. Lots of reviews about the autofocus being a bit slow but you can turn it off (I personally love it as it gives that blurred background look!) The MX Brio is a great webcam too - its really simple to use, and has a bit of an airbrushed feel which is quite forgiving !
It does not unfortunately no - I had to play around with the sharpening function a hell of a lot lol
I'm going to sound a little like a shill but I recently got the YOLOLIV YoloCam S3, and it beats all of the other webcam's in the comment section by a LONG shot! The sensor is larger than the others meaning its able to receive more light in low light environments. The image is really well balanced and has great color accuracy. I came from a Razer Kiyo Pro and I hated using the razer software, the Yololiv software only needed for initial setup and then I haven't had to use it since, it also doesn't run in the background like razer software. If you want to get him a webcam that will last him a long time until he decides he wants to invest in a dedicated camera setup "which may be overkill for small streamer", the S3 is and will be my go-to webcam in 2026. Update: I looked up the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra and it has a 1/1.2″ sensor vs the S3 which has a 1/1.28" sensor. It's also $100 cheaper than the Razer :)
\+1 for the S3, I purchased it a few months ago and it is BY FAR THE BEST WEBCAM I HAVE USED TO DATE! It blows the pants off my previous Razer Kiyo Pro. I probably won't need another webcam for a very very long time.
I've said this in a few discussions about webcams but I switched to the YoloLiv S3 a few months ago and it is the best webcam in 2026 in my honest opinion. At $200 and with the largest sensor to date this webcam has the best low light performance, crisp image, and great software which is something people don't typically think about when buying a webcam and is an after thought. I upgraded from a Razer Kiyo Pro to the S3 and thing that I noticed improvements on included: \- less grainy images \- better image quality when transcoding down to lower resolution (due to the improve starting image quality) \- When using the nvidia background removal tool, the detection is a little better than with the razer meaning my animation look better overall All in all, I think the S3 is my go to webcam in 2026 and look forward to more products from YoloLiv in the future
Nice, info, just got it today, blown away, I tried controlling the zoom with foot switch in obs. The zoom is so sharp, never thought digital zoom could be that great.
I wouldn't go with either, I've spent 8 months testing pretty much every major 4K Webcam (its my job, I do YouTube around tech, streaming, and gaming full-time - I even did a talk at CES about them). I'd say the INSTA360 Link 2C Pro, for no tracking, or Link 2 Pro if you want tracking. 1/1.3" Sensor, combined with a F1.9 means it lets in and captures a great amount of light for low light, decent colour accuracy, incredibly sharp, great auto focus, manages some depth as well because of the sensor and F Stop. OBSBOT are good, but the era you link is one behind their latest so its a bit weaker in some areas, and still costs the same as better options. Razor Kiyo has some terrible user reviews, it either works for you perfectly fine, OR it is the biggest pile of shit apparently. The other major one to avoid is the Elgato Facecam 4K, it has terrible low light, requires insane amounts of light for decent quality, no autofocus, and zero depth. Some people love the YOLOCAM S3, and I don't mind it but the colours are too punchy, too contrasty, etc for me. It also feels oversharp, like its been tuned aggressively over the top.
