Running these analyses costs money. Buy through my links to help keep lights on! I may get a small commission.
I have put Fritzbox 6490 in the cellar & the work room in the cellar uses LAN cable connected to that router. In the living room, I use a Netgear extender, which works okay for TV & Bosch cameras. I have nothing in the 1st floor wherein we have our bedroom. We use the WiFi from the living room. On the top floor, we have a LAN cable that is connected to the Fritz router. I have put a Fritz mesh repeater. My wife works in one of the rooms there. We get almost the same speed as in Cellar due to LAN being extended over there. All these were bought on Kleinanzeigen. If you have LAN ports in all the floors, just plugin Fritz mesh repeater & for work use LAN ports (or just a 1Gbit switch).
GenieACS works fine with fritzboxes. What exactly does not work for you? How do you feed the ACS URL to your boxes, do they even register in the ACS?
i had horrible experience with the axe5400. went to fritzbox, never looking back
Used quite a bit by regional ISPs in Ireland
AMV Fritz.box. all you need to connect your stuff. Most is WiFi anyways, these days.
I still can't comprehend what kind of routers people in other continents like America buy/ have to buy. In Germany, almost everyone uses AVM Fritz!Box', which are way more capable than most 'standard' routers and do not cost $400 or something like that.
