Cudy - M21000 BE21000 10G Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 7 System

Hello! Just wanted to share my experience after using a **Cudy tri-band WiFi 7 router** (purchased less than a week ago) as a **standalone router** in my home. I’m coming from a **TP-Link Deco X20 mesh system**, covering a **240m² two-story house**, and I’ve gotta say—the coverage and performance of this Cudy router have been surprisingly solid for a single unit. # Setup & Performance: * I’m running **two networks**: one for **2.4/5GHz** combined and another just for **WiFi 7 (MLO)**. * The signal **reaches my entire house** with strong and stable coverage. No dead zones so far. * About **15 devices** connected—phones, smart TVs, home assistants, etc.—and it's been **rock solid** all week. No disconnects or slowdowns. * Internally, it runs on a **Qualcomm CPU** and includes a **heatsink**, which probably helps with stability and thermals. * Performance feels **on par with TP-Link Archer series routers**, which is impressive considering the price point. # Firmware & Features: * The **firmware and mobile app** are **basic**—they cover the essentials but lack depth. * **QoS is pretty limited**—you can only set bandwidth caps per device. No traffic prioritization or advanced tuning. * A few other common features you'd expect from higher-end routers are missing or simplified.

Cudy mesh routers are very good value if you're ok with stuff that just works reliably without bells and whistles or want to install OpenWRT. See their emulators if that level of configuration options is enough for you. If it is, they are really stable and good value.
