GL.iNet - Marble (GL-B3000) Wi-Fi 6 Home Router

Magkano budget mo? Entry level: GL Inet Flint 2/3 na katabi ng router. GL Inet Marble na naka AP mode sa another floor.

I have three GL.iNet routers: a Beryl AX, Opal, and Marble. The user interface may be similar across them, but I haven't been able to get the Marble to pass through the login portal so that it can authenticate and use the free wifi available here. Both the Beryl AX and Opal connect to the same wifi network, then display a link to the login portal. After I authenticate, I can access the free wifi. It might be user error, but I think the Marble simply doesn't offer it because a home router doesn't need to connect to public wifi.

I bought a GL-iNet "Marble" model GL-B3000 because it had OpenWRT and AdGuard Home installed already. It only has three ports: WAN, Lan 1 and Lan 2, and wi-fi, so I use it in series with my home broadband connection device. Qualcomm dual core 1 GHz. DDR3L 512MB/NAND flash 128MB, 4 internal antennas Bought via AliExpress for $75 AUD, which is about 42 EURO

I set up a wire guard VPN on my gli.net router in under 5 minutes and it works great

Gli.Net are great units

If your apartment is not huge, a Gli.net brand router is what you’re looking for. Prices are decent, various speed options and vpn on board. I use one as a travel router for hotels

Ehh. I guess, but it took me less than 10 minutes to setup Wireguard server on my Cloud Max gateway, and then pass the credentials over to my gli.net. I have no doubt that the ubiquity travel router is easier to setup, but we’re talking about shaving off a few minutes compared to gli.net

Exactly. Don't waste money on these shitty consumer routers. The only decent ones are from gl.inet that come with openwrt. If you need more, look into opnsense on something like qotom or other minipc, mikrotik, ubiquity and separate access points.

Poor performance, very poor routing performance. And overpriced.
