Sounds like you all have never heard of the Mikrotik mAP lite. It beats them all. For $35-40, it is smaller than a credit card, uses max 3.5w via USB or POE, and has a magnetic back so you can mount it on steel panels or network racks. For mounting on non-magnetic surfaces, it comes with a steel sticker plate. It takes the win. Don't even bother with Vonets or other brands. The thing is so configurable that you can make it do almost anything. I've used the mAPs to connect to edge gateways and PLCs alike, and they are great once you learn how to set them up.
