I also have a gen 2 and am using a TP-Link AX6000. It works great from end to end of my house and in the front and back yard as well. I have had great success with every TP-Link product I’ve used.

I have a TP-Link AX6000. Have it little over 5 years now and have nothing but good things to say about it. It's been solid. I never have to reboot it and handles 14 wifi cams, probably just as many wifi switches and several computers, tablets and phones. I would choose the TP-Link AX3000 if you don't want to spend more money on a WiFi 7 router.

r/OculusQuestWhat would be your recommendation on wifi 6e routers?

I have a TP-Link AX6000 and have been happy with it. I only use WiFi with virtual desktop for pcvr and streaming 4k movies in skybox. The house has a wifi 6 router that came with the modem and it can’t handle streaming large 20gb movie files when everyone is on, but having my own dedicated router next to my pc fixed that. My computers connect to the other router through WiFi for internet and wired directly to my personal router to stream to my quest. No idea what neighbors use but I’m guessing WiFi 6 is standard now.

WiFi 6 has lots of features that deal with congested networks. Very worthwhile. WiFi 6e was worthless to me as you have to very close to the router to achieve the faster speeds. WiFi 7 is still very uncommon. Get another TP- Link router with 8 big external antennas and WiFi 6 (or 6e) and you will be good for quite a while.

r/SpectrumIs there a better/newer router than SAX1V1S

The spectrum 802.11ax router actually worked better (stronger signal) than my tp link 802.11ax router

r/SpectrumMy best decision: Getting rid of the Spectrum router

I had the opposite experience - the TP Link 802.11AX router has a weaker signal than the Spectrum 802.11AX router. In fact it performs similar to my decade old 802.11AC router. Barely reaches the master bedroom, where the Roku now gets a “Fair” connection instead of “good” or “excellent”, and my cellphone now drops connection sometimes
