I currently use a TPLink AXE300. It routes 10g just fine. However, had I dont more research into the things I actually wanted to accomplish, I would have bought a Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE instead. Only because the tools available on the tplink aren't the best for vlans. But beyond that, it's flawless. I picked up a couple 2x sfp+ 4x 2.5g ethernet switches, ran fiber across the house with a 10g backbone, patched devices into switches for hardwire. Works great. I don't have anything that can use 10g natively, but up to 2.5g is available to every device. And the 6e wireless from the tplink clocks in at about 1300 up/down.

Copy paste from VD discord. Please check other online local stores and larger etailers like Amazon, aliexpress and eBay. The following routers have been reported to work reliably from a number of users. High End (AXE / WiFi 6E) - TP-Link AXE300/AXE16000 ($450 US) High End (AX / WiFi 6) - Asus RT-AX86U ($300 US) Dedicated (BE / Wifi 7) - TP-Link BE9300/BE550 ($200-$300 US) Dedicated (AXE / WiFi 6E) - Davolink 'Kevin' Minion 6E ($129 US) Dedicated (AXE / WiFi 6E) - TP-Link Archer AXE75/AXE5400 ($160-$200 US) Dedicated (AX) - PRISMXR Puppis S1 (80$) Dedicated (AX / WiFi 6) - GL.iNet Beryl GL-MT3000 ($90 US) Low End (AC / WiFi 5) - GL.iNet Opal GL-SFT1200 ($50 US) Low End (AC / WiFi 5) - TP-Link Archer C6 or A6 ($40 US) TP-Link AX and Huawei routers have been known to have issues we are unable to identify. Higher end TP-Link AX/AXE routers not listed here may work well but as with any router not on this list, should be considered untested. The TP-Link Archer AXE5400 is not the same thing as the Deco AXE5400. The latter is a mesh router and may not work as expected. I personally won't recommend any router in your screenshot, but some of them will work fine. Also consider if you're in an area with others living nearby, channels might be congested so a 6ghz (wifi6e or 7) might be the only way to keep the connection stable. Ubiquiti is also good, but had problems in the past that got fixed through firmware updates.

Unironically our favorite router on the VD server is the Kevin, it's actually really good: Dedicated (AXE / WiFi 6E) - Davolink 'Kevin' Minion 6E ($129 US) Or if you want the most poweful one: High End (AXE / WiFi 6E) - TP-Link AXE300/AXE16000 ($450 US) My personal favorite is the GLinet Flint 2, it's Wifi 6 but it's the most powerful Wifi 6 there is for VR at it's price

Keep looking, I recently snagged a TP-Link axe300 for $175 and I probably won't upgrade again for a very long time. It's not even possible to describe how fast my connection is compared to my Netgear RS100 that I stupidly "upgraded" to. Ping? Good luck measuring it, it floats around 9-13-17ms in our home we bought 2 years ago which is all brick and wood with a standing seam metal roof and a million miles of trash lead conduit and wires from previous owners' remodels. If you designed a stress test for wifi signal you'd stop short of how much of a nightmare my house is because it would seem unrealistic for anyone to deal with and yet this brute SINGS signal throughout my house. Don't settle for good enough, take your time and get the best. I promise there's another fool out there switching to WiFi 7 right now who's about to sell a beast of a router on ebay for a fraction of it's worth and that's your time to shine homie. Best of luck hunting

Based on your OP and previous posts, I am going to taylor my recommendations around that context. Assuming you're going 1G or 2G fiber. Seem to be OK with single point router but yes.....your current one is old enough to get a drivers license next year. Security risk and poor performance too. You do NOT need to look at modem, ONT, etc of any kind. You only need a router/wifi combo or router l/separate AP's or mesh system. Since you current setup is single point...lets start there. If buying new, I would recommend some asus products that are wifi 6 or 7. Lots of options and you can ad hoc a great mesh/ap experience with add on units if needed in the future. You could also go to link but be careful when you select your main unit, they have a couple of competing mesh ecosystems that do not interchange. Used/older/wifi 6 etc i would be all.pver something like a tp link Axe300. 6ghz, tri band, 10gb wan/lan, Spanish combo port, 2 5ghz streams, cheap now, mates well with fiber, etc. Some 6ghz asus fall in this category. I do not really like mesh systems. In my opinion, unless you spend a fortune on really good ones, they have too many compromises. But If you do, i recommend the asus line, the nicer tplinks and some of the eeros. Unfortunately, even some of those brands, newest is not necessarily best.

High end/mid range Asus and put the Merlin Firmware on it. Frequent updates, fixed security flaws. Not just two and done.. You have no choice with TP link . No openwrt no Ddwrt. Nothing.. As stated above tplink stuff gets targeted for ddos attacks etc due to them not updating. Bought the AXE300 earlier in the year, and it's firmware is over 12 months old. There's been tons of CVEs and they don't care that you spent $450 on a router Won't keep it secure. No patches. Nothing.. Sold it and got the Asus GT-AXE16000 Have a 3rd party firewall set up on it, AdGuard home installed on it doing the whole network. The thing has a ton of RAM and it's just fine with using the 6G for the Quest etc.. Sorry i just cannot recommend TPLink

I have multiple AXE300 router, to accomplish this, you'll need to have your secondary and tertiary routers set to run on AP (Access Point) Mode. Depending on your firmware, you'll be able to do Wireless Bridge. If your firmware doesn't support it, you can opt for Powerline kit to bridge the connection using your household electrical outlet. Otherwise, you can also invest in MoCA 2.5 devices, that uses home coaxial outlet to bridge the connection, this method is prefer since it's capable (currently limited by the technology) of going up to 2.5Gbps. Lastly, if you want to do the work, you can also run Ethernet (Cat 7/8 for future proof) cables around your house to connect to these AP routers.
