Ive had the Deco 4 and now Deco6e. I f'in love it! 3 pods and covers the house and property quite nicely.

If you don't want to install ethernet cables in your walls, then for a 500/50 plan I would just get a cheap TP Link DECO bundle that is pretty much plug and play. No need to overthink it. I used to have a TP-Link AC1200 router. I’m not sure if it was because I was torrenting for a longer period or more torrents, but the router would throttle to 1 Mbps. I’m not sure why this happened, but when I rebooted the router, it would work fine again. This happened a lot, but it happened less often with the ASUS router.

Yeah, you'll have to get the new free modem that isn't a Wi-Fi/modem combo. Then you can buy a 30$ TP AC1200 router on Amazon and boom you save $10 a month. it's what I did, I told them I was switching to frontier for 29.99 and the agent lowered me to $50 a month with the wifi router, and told me to return the router when I got my own. I dragged my for two months but it paid for itself. I'm not techy but It was easy

I live in a 4600 square feet house. The modem aka the main router is downstairs and the download speed is 300 Mbps and upload speed is 100 Mbps. The router which is near my room upstairs gives me a speed of 30 Mbps the name of the router is tp link ac1200. What router do you recommend budget $300.

Yes, ac1200 alam ko dual band din. Prehas naman sila TP link so compatible sya. Siguro CAT6 lan cable nlng bbilhin in case.

I can’t speak for the eero myself since it’s actually my brother who’s using it and I’ve got a Deco actually lol. The app kinda sucks but once it’s all setup I didn’t need to do anything else. Got the 3 pack from Costco and it’s been solid. Just needed to turn off fast roaming since it was cutting off uploads randomly. Guess the house is too small for 3 APs.

I have a 3000 sq ft home and tricked tplink 3 deco unitsand am disappointed with it. Numerous units drop connection and it doesn’t cover my entire house. My 5 yr old orbi system never had these issues

You're probably better off looking for a WiFi mesh solution that can daisy chain between each other. A cheap kit that'll do the job would be one of the TP link Deco mesh kits.
