Xiaomi - Redmi AX6000

There are quite a lot of options, I have redmi ax6000(mt7986), Xiaomi wr30u, Cudy tr3000. Not new devices, but it’s cheap and also powerful devices.

I know it's a bit of an old post and not quite on topic, but what setup did you do on the redmi ax6000? I have one and seem to only get 80 down when I should be getting 500 and can't figure out why.

Both WiFi and ethernet, I just haven't been able to figure it out

Did you try anything different at all, or was it just flashed and ready to go completely working? Yeah I've tried flashing an old firmware, 2 new firmwares and even the latest snapshot as well as trying flow offloading. It does sometimes/rarely goes at full speed normally just after a reboot but after 5-10 minutes goes back down to 80

Redmi AX6000 is a worthy alternative, as is the Mercusys MR90x. Spend the savings on a used gigabit switch.

Go for Xiaomi Redmi rather than Xiaomi. Xiaomi routers are based on problematic Qualcomm, while Redmi are based on quite well supported Realtek. And while Qualcomm is supported, it is mostly heavy lifted by the strong CPU rather than using NSS HW acceleration.
