More of a future proof move. You can get a cheap Xiaomi AX6S for like 50$, flash it with openWRT and it's an amazing router for the price, use one at my house for over 2 years, covers around 250m² of brick walls and garden, with speeds between 1Gbps and 40Mbps at max range.

I would personally use something like a Redmi AX6S or Redmi AX6000 with OpenWrt, but that's just me as I like having extra features like QOS and VLANs.
