"ANC bumps that up to a pretty ludicrous degree for the price... ... It's noticeably superior to the Xiaomi's, and to my XM4's (although in-ears obviously have an advantage in this regard). ... I have no qualms, it effectively isolates me from all the sounds I expect it to like traffic and people talking and other stuff like that. ... The noise cancelling is exceptional for that price."

"ang ganda ng noise cancelling"

"When the A30i went down to ludicrously cheap ($50NZD in my currency, like $30USD I think) I decided to jump on them ... Basically I think they're a no brainer at that price if noise cancelling is your priority, if they go back to the normal price they're still a good option but worth considering others."

"I can comfortably sleep with Soundcore a30i and have pretty small ears. ... Yes I am. I hated the Air Pod Pros 2 on my side- they were not as comfy in the ear and the stems were uncomfortable. The Soundcore P40i were too big to sleep on the side. I ve tried others too. Gone through a lot of buds. ... I think part of what helps the a30i be more comfortable is their rounded shape. They almost look like a jelly belly in shape and size."

"These are really tiny and slot very nicely into the concha (had to look that up). Could be usable for sleeping buds even. ... My favourite thing about these is their size, which might seem insignificant but it really makes for a great overall experience when the fit is so effortlessly comfortable."

"much more comfortable to wear given how it fits into the ear and its lightweight"

"it's 10% of the AirPod Pro price!!"

"I like them enough already that they've shown me to never spend much more than $40-$50 ever again."

"Just got my a30i for around 12$ ... A steal tbh"

"Great equaliser too"

"Been messing with the app and sound for too long but got them dialed in pretty good."

"I only need to charge it once a week even though I use it for 7-8hr per day"

"Battery life lasts all week for me since I switch out using one bud at a time, but I think they have like 30h of battery if using both."

"matagal din battery life (mga 7 hrs + extra sa case)"

"But i can still hear the sounds around me, like the tv or someone else's phone on speaker, but it dulls out the outside sound enough. ... Others might prefer a better sound cancelling earbud though."

"The ANC is a bit underwhelming, but it does work; just don’t expect Galaxy Buds Pro or AirPods level performance."

"Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability."

"So these are bassy, trebly, and not much else. ... to me they sound thin and harsh with an overly recessed midrange ... Also while the bass is plenty thumpy, it doesn't extend very low. Same goes for the treble: they sound bright but the brightness is mostly in what sounds like the upper mids. ... Overall this leads to a somewhat "fatiguing" sound signature."

"had it replaced for 3x already due to pairing issues."

"they started connecting while inside the case."

"My anker would regularly have connection glitches when walking through busier areas."

"They die in only 3 to 4 hours!"

"they would no longer hold a charge"

"Mine don't seem to charge right.. ... The right one has gone dead on me twice within a few hours after charging all night though."

Small ears here. The only earbuds I've ever found that I can wear for hours and they won't fall out or hurt are the Raycon CLASSIC everyday earbuds (not the new ones, but the ones in the little pill case). Little pricier than $50 but my current pair have been through the wash and still work great. You just gotta remove the little mesh piece on the speaker bc (at least in my experience) those get clogged pretty quickly and the adhesive doesn't do well when you try to clean them. Personally, I've tried the soundcore a30i and they didn't match my ear shape nearly as well and were painful to wear after an hour or two. The battery life on those also doesn't hold a candle to the Raycons, but they are much cheaper

If you have Amazon prime, watch for a sale on Soundcore a30i. Very small and I find comfy to sleep in (even on my side). I picked up a pair when they went on sale for $15

Yes I am. I hated the Air Pod Pros 2 on my side- they were not as comfy in the ear and the stems were uncomfortable. The Soundcore P40i were too big to sleep on the side. I’ve tried others too. Gone through a lot of buds. I think part of what helps the a30i be more comfortable is their rounded shape. They almost look like a jelly belly in shape and size. The Soundcore app is nice too. The shape of the case interesting and I like how little space it takes in my bag.

I can't wear most buds either, they hurt or fall out, but mainly they hurt. I'm new to the earbud reddit, but I found a basic anker a30i are inexpensive ($20 on sale) and fit my ears the best of all the ones I've tried (which is alot). The anker p20 doesn't fit as well. I have apple airbuds pro 3 that fit fairly well as well, with the xs eartip. But they still hurt after a little while. The others I like are around the ear cuffs that don't actually go in the ear canal.

Wow! Well after 1 day of having the a30 earbuds I returned them! They die in only 3 to 4 hours! For $299. Its a HUGE NOOO! Now have the Luumun. So far so good. They last almost a full 8 hours and are just as comfortable as the a20 and a30 from Soundcore. They also come with a 5 yr warranty at NO extra charge. The app is also free and is updated with new sounds and meditations. Also tools that teach about sleep, meditation and relaxing. It also has a cool area to journal! So I am impressed.

Anker soundcore a30i are my favorite right now. Also jlab go pop+, but they don't have the noise canceling. The anker you can find on sale for $20 pretty regularly, and they're the best buds I've ever worn for fit, clarity and noise canceling. And I have probably 30 sets including beats. I had a previous set, and one bud started buzzing. I filled a claim, answered a few questions, and they sent me a replacement set within the week. Customer services was slow to reply to email, like 24 hour responses, but still replaced easily. The next pair has been perfect. I also like the tozo and jlab open ear. And the jlab jbuds mini are the smallest in case I've ever seen, and it fits in my keychain.

If you got them last year, you got the A20's. The A30's add in ANC. I've been eyeing them.

This really demonstrates how important fit is and how the "best" earphones in the world might not be best for everyone's ears. I recently got the Soundcore A30i and I've never used earphones which fit so well. But they won't be the best for everyone because everyone has different ears.

Been looking for earphones to replace my Xiaomi Buds 3 Pro for a bit, mainly due to issues with fit and noise cancelling (it's pretty good, but could be better). The Soundcore range interested me due to the apparent focus on noise cancelling at decent prices. When the A30i went down to ludicrously cheap ($50NZD in my currency, like $30USD I think) I decided to jump on them despite the lack of decent reviews online (sidenote: why is RTINGS the only place on the internet to get actual objective reviews which focus on the stuff that actually matters? I don't give a shit how many EQ options the app has...) So now they've arrived and I've been using them for a couple of days I thought I'd post something for other people looking at making that same purchase. **Fit/Comfort** These are really tiny and slot very nicely into the concha (had to look that up). Could be usable for sleeping buds even. Unusually they only come with two tip sizes, but I think they can get away with that because the size and weight which makes them forgiving in terms of fit. I was able to get a good seal with the normal tips with no effort. Where my old Xiaomi Buds 3 Pro's always felt a bit loose, these feel very secure despite not inserting very deeply, and are very comfortable. This of course has a positive flow on effect for sound and noise cancelling: no matter how good canalphones or IEMs are if the fit is bad they won't perform well. **Sound** This is my first experience with Soundcore and it sounds like they have a "house sound" which is basically very V shaped. So these are bassy, trebly, and not much else. To some that will mean they sound "clear" but to me they sound thin and harsh with an overly recessed midrange... Switching between these and the Xiaomi Buds 3 Pro, the Xiaomi's sound much warmer with more body in the mids. For me I prefer that more neutral sound (the Xiaomi's also aren't particularly neutral, just not super hyped). Also while the bass is plenty thumpy, it doesn't extend very low. Same goes for the treble: they sound bright but the brightness is mostly in what sounds like the upper mids. Overall this leads to a somewhat "fatiguing" sound signature. To be clear they don't sound bad and I'm sure this sound signature probably appeals to a lot of people, it's just not to my preference. Also though it might not matter much because... **Isolation and ANC** The fit is so effortless, even without ANC they're already doing a good job of isolating you from the world. ANC bumps that up to a pretty ludicrous degree for the price... It's noticeably superior to the Xiaomi's, and to my XM4's (although in-ears obviously have an advantage in this regard). I have no qualms, it effectively isolates me from all the sounds I expect it to like traffic and people talking and other stuff like that. So because of this I'm kind of okay with sound that isn't exactly what I prefer, it's still enjoyable and listenable. **Other stuff** These support Bluetooth 5.4 and multipair. Battery life isn't great, probably because they're so small, but it's good enough for my usage (good 6 hours or so per charge). The case is kinda weird but also kinda neat? It slides up. Touch controls universally suck and luckily the app lets you disable them entirely. **Conclusion** My favourite thing about these is their size, which might seem insignificant but it really makes for a great overall experience when the fit is so effortlessly comfortable. The noise cancelling is exceptional for that price. The sound is fine but not amazing. Basically I think they're a no brainer at that price if noise cancelling is your priority, if they go back to the normal price they're still a good option but worth considering others.

I have the same issue! I found open ear headphones the best for me. I tried airpods this week and they're not bad but I have a Samsung phone so most features dont work (thats a whole nother thing) The only one that isnt open ear that I can use is an ankor soundcore a30i. I found then on tiktok shop for $9! But theyre typically more like 25ish. Tozo open ear and jlab open ear both works good for me and were under $50.
