Small ears here. The only earbuds I've ever found that I can wear for hours and they won't fall out or hurt are the Raycon CLASSIC everyday earbuds (not the new ones, but the ones in the little pill case). Little pricier than $50 but my current pair have been through the wash and still work great. You just gotta remove the little mesh piece on the speaker bc (at least in my experience) those get clogged pretty quickly and the adhesive doesn't do well when you try to clean them. Personally, I've tried the soundcore a30i and they didn't match my ear shape nearly as well and were painful to wear after an hour or two. The battery life on those also doesn't hold a candle to the Raycons, but they are much cheaper

I recently purchased the A30s. I've yet to have an issue with them falling out and I'm a side sleeper. I'm a little disappointed in the ANC however. I work odd hours and sleep during the day. There are dogs in the neighborhood doing dog things and I can still hear them plain as can be. Guessing I was just expecting too much out of these things.

I have the A20s and love them, and have an order in for the A30s which are supposed to start shipping next month. I asked and they confirmed the A30s will even be a bit slimmer.

>Very expensive solutions are out there but even those are not perfect. Yep, I've tried the A30Special for a couple nights, they're certainly not perfect. They're on the right track, but they're simply not good enough to recommend yet. The fitment is really hard for me to get right, I've tried every combination of tips and wings, and that takes time. I've had them for about a month, and because of the sometimes-seal, sometimes-not fit I'm experiencing, I couldn't risk being agitated all night recently. So poor sleep has been better than fux-with-the-earbuds-all-night-no-sleep. I plan to give them another go tonight - but if it takes several nights to get the fit right, they're not *there* yet. And like you said they're quite expensive. 200 bucks feels like too much, but I'm still gonna give them another couple tries to see if I adjust to the fit. I've had several IEMs that didn't seal at first, but did later, especially stuff that sits deep in the canal. They're super tiny and they actually sound pretty decent. Obviously they're not shooting for an audiophile experience. They're a cross between a subtle ANC and a subtle earplug (when they do seal). It's actually quite pleasant. But their super low profile makes the wings not work at all as I expect them to. They are plenty small enough, and everything I find wrong with them kinda comes down to their silicone design. Just wanted to share from a fellow sidesleeper the experience of one of the dedicated sleep buds out there. TL;DR: reiterating the quoted text. The A30S are not a plug and play answer, even at 200 bones.

I can't wear most buds either, they hurt or fall out, but mainly they hurt. I'm new to the earbud reddit, but I found a basic anker a30i are inexpensive ($20 on sale) and fit my ears the best of all the ones I've tried (which is alot). The anker p20 doesn't fit as well. I have apple airbuds pro 3 that fit fairly well as well, with the xs eartip. But they still hurt after a little while. The others I like are around the ear cuffs that don't actually go in the ear canal.

I have tried a few. The ozlos were unusable for me just because the bluetooth cut in and out. Couldn’t really listen to anything steadily. Maybe I got unlucky, but the build quality and sound quality were good from what i remember. Just connection issues. If you’re really leaninf to one of those 3 I’d say just buy somewhere with a good return policy. Maybe the ozlo firmware is better now. I use the soundcore a30s. Decent sound quality, comfy, and stay in alright for me. Also keep in mind these little dudes with small li-ion batteries used nightly probably won’t be very “bifl” Have you considered wired iems? https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/u2wkme/compiling_a_list_of_sleepable_iems/ if you don’t roll much probably a better option
