I really like this product, and they're really comfortable, and the majority of the time, I forget I have them on. And therein lies the problem, I forget I have them on. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm guessing I must have brushed it against something or it fell out when I was changing t-shirts. I had only realized I lost one of them the following day, and retracing my steps with the app didn't reconnect with the lost ear bud.

I've been testing out a few different clip-style open buds this week, and my favorites have been the Soundcore Aeroclip. I just received the Shokz Opendots One, so I'm doing some A/B comparisons with the Aeroclip. For me, the Opendots One are probably a little more comfortable. They both grip confidently, but the Aeroclip are slightly tighter feeling whereas the Opendots One feel a little more gentle. In terms of sound, for my ears, I honestly prefer the Aeroclip. The Opendots One are a bit louder, but music sounds a little more boxed-in and less dynamic to me. I tried with and without Dolby mode on, with a similar "V-shaped" custom EQ on both. Dolby mode makes things sound more expansive, but I feel like I'm losing a bit of highs & lows with it on. Maybe better for movies than music. Perhaps it's just that with the shape of my ears, the drivers are more accurately directed with the Aeroclip.

The Pearlclip Pro was another one I tested. I think they're great for the price, and actually have better functionality than either the Aeroclip or the Opendots One (low latency mode, more control options with single-taps, etc). However, I found the Aeroclip to sound significantly better and they feel more secure on my ears. If I were to advise anybody on what to buy out of what I tested, I'd say to buy the Aeroclip if money is no object, and the Pearlclip Pro if you don't have much to spend.

I recently went down that same research path myself. The Huawei FreeClip was rated the highest for comfort and sound in the videos I watched, but they are just too expensive. I almost went for the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro except that a couple of reviews said they were kind of loose and might fall off if you don’t have larger ears. I really liked what I read about the Soundcore AeroClip, but $139 was still more than I wanted to spend. Then I found them brand new on eBay for $75, so that’s what I went with. I’ve only used them once so far, but I think they’re going to be a good choice. They fit well and the sound quality seems to be very good given that they’re open buds.

For what it's worth, I'm getting a very comfortable and secure fit with the ear clip configuration on the Soundcore AeroClip earbuds. You can't get fully immersive noise cancelling in that format, but the sound quality and build are remarkably good, and I never worry about them falling off. And comfort-wise, I often forget I'm wearing them. Great for the gym and podcast listening. If i can get the fit AND the features with the new Pixel buds, I'd still grab a set for music fidelity and loud environments.

Have you considered ear-clip style earbuds? They slide over the edge of your ear instead of sitting in your ear. I personally found them super comfortable (first 'earbuds' I can wear all day until the battery wears out on the earbuds!) They are open-ear style so you hear everything and the sound quality isn't the highest quality (bass suffers), but it's a very different style to consider. I have the soundcore Aeroclips (I paid $75 on ebay, new sealed in box) Only downside is you don't get ANC of course, but the full transparency is pretty handy if you're not flying often

For years, I wore Bose earbuds for my gym needs - the wingtips locked into my ears and the sound quality was upper tier (not the best but above mid-grade for the industry at large). Now I discovered ear-clip earbuds and have a set of soundcore aeroclips - the full open-ear transparency makes them much safer for my outdoor cycling and gym needs (natural open transparency is always going to better than ANC transparency mode). The volume is plenty loud enough but still not too loud to block out *all* noise. But from a comfort standpoint, ear-clip style earbuds are much more comfortable for the gym and my cycling needs. They have never come loose on me. One major downside (aside from the well known poor bass) is that at max volume people can hear your audio clearly from a meter away lol (your ears deflect the sound outwards so people can hear that). So when I really want to crank it in my gym at max volumes, I still fall back to my Bose Quietcomfort Ultra earbuds which lock into my ears and the ANC allows me to block out all noise. However since they are totally sealed off - they will still 'thud' when running which may annoy you (for my cardio they never bother me since I'm on a bicycle lol)

I love my Aeroclips - first "earbuds" I've been able to wear all day to the point that the battery runs out! Very comfortable and convenient. Only downside is the poor bass but that's expected with this market. I really hope that the industry is paying attention and we get more options for earclips in the future. I personally dig the styling, I went for the white with silver O-ring so it looks fancy. Not quite an 'earring' but still a statement piece haha

I have the Soundcore Aeroclips. In my opinion the sound quality is sufficient at moderate volumes. Bass is nowhere near punchy and deep, it's a weakness of these style earbuds in general. I can sometimes feel the earclip rattling from the bass at max volume, but that sound doesn't translate down the eardrum sufficiently. I believe that will change as these style ear clips become more popular. But for me it's the comfort and convenience. The natural open-ear transparency is superior to any ANC transparency on the market. When the music is turned down you can have full conversations with people, or safely bicycle outdoors while hearing traffic around you, etc. And since they clip onto your ears (clip is the wrong word, I don't even feel them after 8 hours of continuous use), there is no risk of them falling off when your ear gets all sweaty during an intense cardio workout outdoors in the summertime. I've never worn my in-ear earbuds for more than a few hours at a time for a variety of reasons. With these earbuds I can eat, talk, workout, etc without needing to remove them. So I'm willing to trade off a bit of bass for convenience right now. I hear the Bose open earbuds have better sound quality but worse call quality in a head-to-head against my Aeroclips, so I think I'm going to hold off and see what new earclips hit the market as the demand grows for this style of earbud.

I was leery of the Bose QC ultra Open earbuds for the price, so instead I opted for the cheaper Soundcore Aeroclips and holy hell they're so convenient - the open ear is so awesome. Call quality is good on these earclips, but sound quality is also sub par. From what I've heard the Bose Ultra Open earclips are actually the best sound of the market right now for this style with even better bass than the other earbuds like mine. (Although I hear the call quality isn't that great though so it's a trade off) So maybe one day I'll upgrade from my Aeroclips to the Bose Ultra Open's if I can get a good deal.

I haven't handled the Eleven's personally (yet, I was very tempted). I'm a Bang & Olufsen fan, I have a speaker setup from B&O I use daily. > The lackluster ANC and the inability to customize controls bother me about the EX, and I haven't heard much from people who actually own the Eleven yet. I can't speak to the ability to customize controls, but indeed the ANC was the biggest complaint I saw about the Beoplay EX earbuds. And indeed people I've seen who have both mention that the ANC is substantially improved over the EX earbuds. How it compares to other brands on the market like Bose's ANC system I'm uncertain. In my personal opinion, I would say if you already have the EX, keep those and enjoy them for the sound quality. ANC is a fun feature to have, but for highest fidelity sound, it's probably best do deactivate it anyway. I'd say use that money and invest in an alternative brand so you can switch up sound quality and ANC features as needed. It'll make your ears appreciate what you have more. Recently I've been using my Soundcore Aeroclips a lot (because they are very comfortable to wear all day and the open-ear design means I can still hear people/things around me crystal clear when my music is turned down to a reasonable level). Anyway the sound quality is terrible (essentially no bass due to the open-ear design), so now whenever I wear my Bose Quietcomfort Ultra earbuds, I'm blown away by the beautiful bass notes. Bose isn't the best brand for sound quality, but dang my ears appreciate them much more after wearing Aeroclips for a few days haha.

>I'm looking for a great pair of earbuds something with solid sound quality, good noise cancellation, and a comfortable fit For me and my personal needs - the answer to this list of needs is the Bose Quietcomfort Ultra - top-tier noise cancelling and great fit with the wingtips + earbuds (the wingtips really help lock the earbuds into place while remaining comfortable for hours at a time). The bose sound quality is good - but not top of the line. There are other brands which can do better sound quality - but ANC and comfort might not quite match what bose has to offer. So for me, the Bose QC-Ultra are my current choice for noise cancelling earbuds. However for day-to-day use, I find myself using the Soundcore Aeroclips because the open-ear clip design makes it very convenient for everyday use interacting with people and hearing stuff (transparency is nice on the Bose, but nothing beats natural open-ear transparency!)

I have seen plenty of earbuds with adjustable noise cancelling for the speakers so you can block out external noise. I do not recall ever seeing or hearing of any app which allows you to adjust call quality settings like that. But, I know exactly what you're talking about because the noise cancelling on my mother's Soundcore Liberty 4 NC earbuds is terrible for her - sometimes it sounds very muted like her voice is getting cancelled out. She has to stop and start talking louder before the system pickup. Never had that issue before with her and earbuds. My only suggestion is to research earbuds with higher ratings for call quality and see what you find. For example I love my Bose Quietcomfort Ultra earbuds for their amazing ANC and decent sound quality. But the call quality isn't great at all. I find myself using my Soundcore Aeroclips more often for calls (for a few reasons) and never seem to have complaints about call quality.

Yeah, I haven't found anything else as comfortable that locks into your ear with amazing ANC. Although I'll be honest, for cycling I recently stopped using my Bose QC-Ultra because while it does have transparency mode, it's not that great when cycling with the wind rushing over the microphones. So for safety reasons I now use Soundcore Aeroclips which are insanely comfortable open-ear buds. I can hear the world around me while jamming out, except they lack ANC capabilities, and the sound quality is not good (lacks almost all bass because of the open-ear design)

Thanks for the opinions! For open-ear, I only have the Aeroclips. But I think your comfort rankings are subjective to your ear shape. Personally my aeroclips are totally comfortable. I have worn them all day until the batteries died, charged up and kept wearing them all day. Not a single bit of ear-pinch or discomfort after 10+ hours of use in a single day. So it seems just like in-ear earbuds, it's entirely subjective based on your ear shape. I do agree with call quality - my Soundcore aeroclips are just fine - I use them all the time for calls and have no issues. Interesting to hear your opinions on bass, because that is my biggest complaint about the Aeroclips. Interesting to hear that the Bose had better bass (although, that's probably expected lol) Personally, I scored the Aeroclips for $75 on eBay - brand new unopened in box. At that price it was too hard to pass up.

Haha for sure - for $75 they were hard to pass up. I wish my Aeroclips had better bass, but it's not a big enough issue for me to splurge on another set of ear clips just yet. I have my Bose QC-Ultra for higher fidelity noise cancelling earbuds, Bowers & wilkins headphones for better sound, and a premium Bang & Olfusen soundbar for my office music needs. My next project is to restore my huge 75 year old record player console and add a bluetooth streaming chip to the AUX input haha

Personally, I love my Aeroclips - they don't hurt at all. I have heard other people say they found some discomfort wearing the aeroclips, but I really have not. it's the first earbud I can wear until the batteries wear out and not need to take them out (because I can still work and talk to people and do stuff without taking them out, simply turning down the music instead). It's not a good sounding earbud - the bass sucks compared to my Bose earbuds. But that is expected of all clip-style earbuds. My better half has mentioned they can hear me from about a meter away when I have the music CRANKED up, but that's fine, I only listen to it that loud when I'm cycling outdoors. It's just crazy to have an earbud I can wear and still have a conversation with people. Transparency mode with ANC on other earbuds "works" but there is no transparency mode better than an open-ear design. It's changed how I function throughout the day. It's not the best sound quality like I said, but if I have to choose between no music sometimes or music all the time, I'm personally going to rock out with something haha. People laugh at how the Aeroclips look, but I don't care - I actually like the styling. I love my Bose QC-Ultra earbuds, they're enjoyable - the ANC is superb (I've had loud motorcycles roar past me and I couldn't hear anything over my music with ANC mode enabled - instead all I felt was the engine noise pounding my chest haha). When flying on a crowded airplane, they're a godsend (I can't imagine flying without ANC anymore!). But they are a closed earbud with a rubber wingtip to really seal off the sound between your ear and the world. They're comfortable, but they trap the heat so your ears warm up over time - in the winter outdoors that's cool, but in the middle of summer it's a little uncomfortable after wearing them for several hours - but that's expected of most all earbuds. But when I want to wear earbuds and enjoy the music, I'm reaching for the QC-ultra currently (although if I REALLY wanted better sound quality, I'd probably splurge on something even better than the QC-Ultra because music is life to me - I consume 8+ hours daily streaming music instead of watching much television haha) So I like both my Aeroclips and my QC-Ultra but for two very different reasons. For my transparency and day-to-day needs, the Aeroclips are great (until something with better bass comes along, then I'll make the switch lol). I paid $75 for them (new unopened in box on ebay) so at that price I can't complain.

Normally I use Bose Quietcomfort2 or the Quietcomfort-Ultra for my gym needs (both cardio on my outdoor bike, or for the gym). However, I recently scooped up a set of cheap Soundcore Aeroclips which clip onto the side of your ears. They are insanely comfortable (half the time I don't even know I'm wearing them). VERY secure (never once had them come off while working out or doing cardio). They are open-ear however so that affects sound quality (bass takes a massive hit), but the open-ear transparency is better for my cycling and gym needs anyway because it's safer (I really shouldn't be cycling with ANC mode on silent! lol). I still enjoy my Bose QC-Ultra for my gym needs, but for cycling outdoors, I'm certainly using my Aeroclips lately.

Does she need ANC? I recently invested in a pair of Soundcore Aeroclips (got them for under $80 new in box on eBay) - they look weird at first but for me they are insanely comfortable open-ear earbuds (and I honestly think they look kinda cool lol). For the first time ever, I can wear them until the battery wears out - for hours at a time and never notice I'm wearing them. Of course they are open-ear earbuds that gently rest on the opening to the ear, not inside the ear. They're much more secure (I bicycle ride with them and workout in the gym with no issues). The trade off is that they are fully transparent (you hear everything when music is turned down) so there is no ANC features (For that, I enjoy my Bose Quietcomfort ultra earbuds which has an optional x-small wingtip/eartip kit if her ears are too small for the standard S/M/L sizes) I use my Bose for traveling, and for day-to-day use around the shop or in the gym, I am finding myself enjoying these new clip-style earbuds. Just suggesting an alternative if she'd want to consider something different. Personally I kinda dig the styling - I got the silver bands, but she might like the rose-gold option.

I have both. The freeclip is way more comfortable, you barely feel it's there at all. But the aeroclip sounds better, there a little more bass and volume in comparison. Also the battery on the aeroclip is much better. Freeclip has really bad battery life, it is much smaller than the other. Im getting about 4 hours on the Huawei and 6.5 on the aeroclip.

I also got the BC1 from Amazon, coming today. They were like $27 or so from Amazon US with $10 off and another 15% or something. I had the MC1 and really liked them, and they lasted forever. They just didn't have very good mic quality. There are only a couple "ring" or "clip" style buds that do. I have the best, the Huawei FreeClips, and I also tried and really liked the Soundcore AeroClips, but those clamped a little too tight for me. Hurt after a couple hours. I can literally wear the Huawei FreeClip all day until they die, which takes about 10 hours. Anyway, I am excited to try the BC1 and hopefully they are really good.

Actually yes they are very comfortable. They feel slightly larger than the free clip. But they do fit very well in my large ears and my wife's very small ears. They also have these small silicone covers in medium and large to add extra grip, but it's not needed for either of us as they hold very well. I tried the pieces just for the sake of trying and they actually made the buds feel a little uncomfortable. The aero clip does have much louder volume than the free clip making it much better for my loud gym.

I used to use my airpods pro 2, but I felt like maybe noise isolation was not what I needed. I've tried Bose Ultra Open, music's great but call quality is really bad. I recommend the Soundcore Aeroclip and Shokz Opendots One (just launched, quality looks good). I'm using the Aeroclip now, the sound and call quality is really amazing for an open ear. Audio is on par with Bose, but excel in call quality and comfort. I'm on the fence to get Opendots One just for the looks.

These are more comfortable than Aeroclip. I get a slight pain after 3hrs as the "arc" is stiffer on the AeroClip. The audio is also 20% better with OpenDots One, as they have dual drivers on each side. At 50% volume and below, I would say I could not distinguish the audio quality compare to my semi in ear buds. But when you start blasting above 70%, the bass gets slightly muddy, I would say all in ears will suffer from that. If you are just listening to podcast and non heavy bass music, even at high volume, the quality is very good and it could easily drown the surrounding noise (somewhat ANC).

On the same journey recently and tested them in Bose shop at my area. If you don't need them for making calls, they are as good as it gets in terms of clip-on open ear audio quality (even the Bose boutique assistant agrees on this statement). I needed mine for calls, tested afew and ended up the Soundcore Aeroclip that was launched last month. Got mine in black and absolutely love the stealth look. Audio sounded as good as Bose but call quality was much better due to it having 4 mics. Other notable contenders are Huawei Free Clip and Edifier Lolliclip. Each has it pros and cons, from IP rating, design, call quality, Codec supported, comfort and looks. But amongst all, Bose is the most expensive. At that price, they should have provided a better complete product.

I finally Found Open Earbuds That Actually Work like a proper finished product – Soundcore AeroClip. I’ve been on a mission to find myself a pair of truly open earbuds, and I think I’ve finally found them. Over the years, I’ve tried quite a few in this category—Samsung Buds Live, Soundcore C40i, Bose Ultra Open, and now the Soundcore AeroClip. These actually sound great, with enough bass to feel satisfying. What really surprised me was how loud they can get. If I need to, I can turn up the volume and drown out people talking nearby, but at around 50%, I can still clearly hear my surroundings while enjoying my music. It’s the perfect balance of awareness and immersion. Comfort-wise, they’re ridiculously good. It honestly feels like there’s nothing on my ears. I also tested phone calls with my family, and they thought I was just using my phone directly, which says a lot about the mic quality. If I had to choose between these and the Bose Ultra Open, I’d go with these for the overall experience. The Shokz OpenDots One just launched, and they might be another step up, but I’m not sure they’d justify the price. For now, the AeroClip is my go-to for open earbuds, and I’m just glad I finally found a pair that does everything right.

I would suggest the Bose Ultra Open. When I had a pair, they had great sound for open ear. But they had terrible connectivity issues. I ordered the Soundcore AeroClip and they sound just as good when tuned and have Qi charging all while costing less than half. Have you looked at something like that Galaxy Buds 3. They don’t go in your ears. I’m not sure if they would provide a stable fit for you, they didn’t for me. But earbuds like those, the AirPods series, and the AirPods Pro never stay in my ears either. I suggest starting with something from Soundcore, like the AeroClip and going from there. Their C40i should also be good, don’t get the C30i. There are countless brands and models of open ear earbuds. Soundcore also makes ones that fit around your ears and I preferred their sound over what Shokz offered (and they had more features for a lower price). JBL, Soundpeats, and many others make either clip-on open earbuds or ones that sit around your outer ears like a pair of sports earbuds, but are still completely open. It all depends on your budget.

I received my pair and they do not have Qi charging. The couple of reviews that say this are incorrect. Only USB C charging. They still sound great for open earbuds, I think on par with Bose’s much more expensive option and those don’t have Qi charging either. I guess they didn’t want to squeeze a coil into the bottom and needed more space because the AeroFit 2 have Qi charging.

I had the OpenFit and OpenFit 2 through my review program. They were both sensitive to how they were worn and I couldn’t get them situated for a solid fit without ears. It’s because there’s no up or down, in or out rotation with them. The Soundcore AeroFit 2 had a better fit for me, because I couldn’t adjust their rotation on one axis, and sounded better because of that rotation. None of them could compete with the Bose Ultra Open. I have a feeling it’s because their driver is right there and their fit was completely non-slip with me. They’re expensive, lack features like Qi charging, their battery life is below average for the product category, but they’re well built and sounded better, for me anyway, than other open earbuds I’ve listened to. I think the AeroClip come close, but I don’t like having to fidget with them for 10-15 minutes to get the proper sound balance in my right ear.

Ranking based on what I think are the most important segments to make a good purchase decision. Sound: Rank 1 - Shokz open dots one - great clarity , bass same as bose Rank 2 - Bose open ultra - great sound , best bass Rank 3 - Soundcore aero clip - good sound, clear . Bass is good but shokz and bose have better sub bass Rank 4- soundcore aero fit 2- it's ok. Bass is good but is muddy and clarity not as good as the rest Call quality: Rank 1 - TIE - Shokz open dots one and soundcore aero clips Rank 2 - soundcore aero fit 2 Rank 3 - bose ultra open, the other person on the call can hardly hear me Comfort: (all are good for exercise) Rank 1 - TIE - Shokz open dots one and bose ultra open, they are good for all day wear Rank 2 - soundcore aero clip- pinches after 2 hours of wear Rank 3 - aero fit 2- they are hook style and are heavier so not a favor comparison Value for money: Rank 1 - TIE - Shokz open dots one($199) and soundcore aero clips ($169) - I would say that extra 30$ gives you better sound on shokz Rank 2 - soundcore aero fit 2($129) Rank 3 - Bose ultra open. I just got the Soundcore Aeroclips, similar to the Bose but significantly cheaper. Definitely not noise canceling as they're an open ear design, but they get loud enough to effectively limit outside sounds.

Agree on their pricing. I love my soundcore buds but battery life had dropped off too. I do use my $30 sound core open ears for the office and around the house but needed cheap anc buds for short flights where I don't want to carry my over the ears. I do love the wings on the liberty pro 3 buds tho, really comfy.

I've tried many brands (beats, Sony, pixel buds, akg, master and dynamic$$) and I've finally settled on the. Anker Soundcore for me. I use the p40i with the Comply foam tips and I've had no complaints during my calls. Great part is that model of earbud is relatively cheap to stock up on in case you have a habit of misplacing them like I do. My current Pixel is the 8.

I got a pair of Soundcore by Anket in Jan. I use them for audiobooks 6-8 hours a day, and have never had a problem with them. Battery life lasts all week for me since I switch out using one bud at a time, but I think they have like 30h of battery if using both. Fast charge. Water resistant, though, not waterproof.

Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds. You know what Sony, apple, Samsung Bose, and seinheiser have in common? They are disgustingly overpriced for a technology that is still going nowhere. The only time you use big brands is over ear. Earfun pro 4 Or Anything from soundcore. Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability. Which shocker is the #1 thing I personally couldn't give a crap about as long as it's decent

I bought some random ones off Amazon based on the reviews. They were only £25 so thought I’d take a punt on them not really expecting them to be as good as people were saying. I also have a pair of Anker Soundcore but find the bass too light. Anyway, they are called Btootos and they are absolutely excellent for the money. Have you all looked into replacement tips from Spinfit, Sedna, Azla? Those seem like a good option as they carry lots of sizes and fit the ear better than the standard tips. (I don’t own any, I just saw them recommended on another post in the sub. It looks like SS, then S are the smallest sizes. They all have instructions on how to select your size and model). Also on Amazon there are silicone behind the neck straps that you can fit to any earbud while running/working out and later take them off when you don’t need them. I’m still deciding on a lightweight, compact, good-sounding, earbud under $100 and most of all great fitting for running. I have some Anker Soundcore that fall out of my ear easily with any of the included tips. I also have older Jabra Elite (not the active), which are more comfortable but still not great for running..

Very annoying.
