"hands down cheaper"
"Personally, I scored the Aeroclips for $75 on eBay - brand new unopened in box. ... At that price it was too hard to pass up. ... for $75 they were hard to pass up."
"costing less than half"

"I personally found them super comfortable (first 'earbuds' I can wear all day until the battery wears out on the earbuds!) ... they've changed how I use earbuds (wearing them literally all day long now lol)."
"For my ears they are insanely comfortable. ... Yesterday I was about to leave the house for a few hours with my partner when I realized I totally forgot to take out my earbuds before leaving haha."
"I don't even feel them after 8 hours of continuous use ... I've never worn my in-ear earbuds for more than a few hours at a time for a variety of reasons. With these earbuds I can eat, talk, workout, etc without needing to remove them. ... first "earbuds" I've been able to wear all day to the point that the battery runs out!"

"VERY secure (never once had them come off while working out or doing cardio)."
"I'm getting a very comfortable and secure fit with the ear clip configuration on the Soundcore AeroClip earbuds. ... I never worry about them falling off. ... comfort-wise, I often forget I'm wearing them."
"they have never once fallen out of my ears regardless of how rigorous or sweaty I get haha."

"It's just crazy to have an earbud I can wear and still have a conversation with people. ... Transparency mode with ANC on other earbuds "works" but there is no transparency mode better than an open-ear design."
"The natural open-ear transparency is superior to any ANC transparency on the market. ... When the music is turned down you can have full conversations with people, or safely bicycle outdoors while hearing traffic around you, etc. ... the open ear is so awesome."
"very safe for using while cycling outdoors (I can still hear vehicles around me on the roads while enjoying music, how awesome!)."

"I had the Aeroclips for a couple days when they came out and they sounded amazing...but they were SO TIGHT they hurt like HECK after about 30 min."
"those clamped a little too tight for me. ... Hurt after a couple hours."
"they did hurt after a couple hours somehow... ... the clamp is a bit more than my Freeclips."

"And therein lies the problem, I forget I have them on. ... I'm not sure what happened, but I'm guessing I must have brushed it against something or it fell out when I was changing t-shirts."

"Only downside is you don't get ANC of course, but the full transparency is pretty handy if you're not flying often"
"But i can still hear the sounds around me, like the tv or someone else's phone on speaker, but it dulls out the outside sound enough. ... Others might prefer a better sound cancelling earbud though."
"Definitely not noise canceling as they're an open ear design"

"Anyway the sound quality is terrible (essentially no bass due to the open-ear design)"
"Bass is nowhere near punchy and deep ... I can sometimes feel the earclip rattling from the bass at max volume, but that sound doesn't translate down the eardrum sufficiently. ... sound quality is also sub par. ... Only downside is the poor bass"
"They are open-ear however so that affects sound quality (bass takes a massive hit)"

"they started connecting while inside the case."
I really like this product, and they're really comfortable, and the majority of the time, I forget I have them on. And therein lies the problem, I forget I have them on. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm guessing I must have brushed it against something or it fell out when I was changing t-shirts. I had only realized I lost one of them the following day, and retracing my steps with the app didn't reconnect with the lost ear bud.
Great review. I started with Shokz OpenMove, then a pair of economical Monster Open AC601 before moving onto the Soundcore AeroClips. Don't have any complaints about the AeroClips as the microphone quality is pretty good. Finally no complaints from people saying they can't hear me. Tried the Shokz OpenDots at a retail store. Sound seemed better, earbuds felt lighter, case is slimmer with wireless charging I believe. However, can you provide more input about the call quality on the OpenDots. Any issues? How does it compare to the AeroClips? Thanks.
Soundcore AeroClip. I have not found any earbuds that work for me. The things shift position slightly with any movement, and all bass disappears. The AeroClips are different. They do not rely on precise positioning. No noise cancellation though.
I can't do regular earbuds as they never stay in and/or start to hurt right away. I discovered open-ear earbuds this year and they've been amazing. There's tons of them on Amazon from various brands. I went with the Soundcore Aeroclip. I've been using Soundcore headphones for years so I knew the sound quality would be good. Keep in mind that these kinds of earbuds won't be fully noise-cancelling simply due to the way they clip on and don't cover or go in your ear. They're super comfortable tho and I can wear them for hours.
Do you consider open earbuds? I'm using soundcore Aeroclip and it worked pretty well.
I've been using that in office and none of my colleagues have complained to me, I guess that's good?
I've been testing out a few different clip-style open buds this week, and my favorites have been the Soundcore Aeroclip. I just received the Shokz Opendots One, so I'm doing some A/B comparisons with the Aeroclip. For me, the Opendots One are probably a little more comfortable. They both grip confidently, but the Aeroclip are slightly tighter feeling whereas the Opendots One feel a little more gentle. In terms of sound, for my ears, I honestly prefer the Aeroclip. The Opendots One are a bit louder, but music sounds a little more boxed-in and less dynamic to me. I tried with and without Dolby mode on, with a similar "V-shaped" custom EQ on both. Dolby mode makes things sound more expansive, but I feel like I'm losing a bit of highs & lows with it on. Maybe better for movies than music. Perhaps it's just that with the shape of my ears, the drivers are more accurately directed with the Aeroclip.
The Pearlclip Pro was another one I tested. I think they're great for the price, and actually have better functionality than either the Aeroclip or the Opendots One (low latency mode, more control options with single-taps, etc). However, I found the Aeroclip to sound significantly better and they feel more secure on my ears. If I were to advise anybody on what to buy out of what I tested, I'd say to buy the Aeroclip if money is no object, and the Pearlclip Pro if you don't have much to spend.
I recently went down that same research path myself. The Huawei FreeClip was rated the highest for comfort and sound in the videos I watched, but they are just too expensive. I almost went for the SoundPEATS PearlClip Pro except that a couple of reviews said they were kind of loose and might fall off if you don’t have larger ears. I really liked what I read about the Soundcore AeroClip, but $139 was still more than I wanted to spend. Then I found them brand new on eBay for $75, so that’s what I went with. I’ve only used them once so far, but I think they’re going to be a good choice. They fit well and the sound quality seems to be very good given that they’re open buds.
I have the Soundcore AeroClip and it’s not that I like them better than the in-ears, they’re just different. I also have AirPods Pro 2 as well as several other brands of TWS earbuds, plus I have a collection of wired IEMs, and I like all of them. I use the open buds when I want to be completely aware of my surroundings and/or when I’m in a quiet space and simply don’t need noise isolation/noise cancellation. I tend to use the open buds more for listening to audiobooks, YouTube videos and such rather than music, but the AeroClips are good enough for music listening as well if I choose to use them for that.
I recently started testing a few, premium as well as cheapos. Sometimes amazing how little difference there is. Like those two in the pic. I actually like the much cheaper QCY Crossky C50 better than the new SoundPeats Clip1. I like the Bose, but fear for their life in rain. Also like the Soundcore Aeroclip, but can’t justify the price … the Baseus MC1 pro with IPX67 have the best weather / dust rating. Keep seeing the Huawei freeclips topping lists on YT, but when I tested them I found them just ‘eh’ … my pref is great sound, don’t need LDAC, not interested in phone quality … what else should I check out?
Very similar sentiment. The Bose feel ridiculously overpriced for what feels like sounding 10-15% better than I.e. the crossky c50. Good thing I got them gently used for ~$130. Just did a 21K run with them this morning and it feels like that the right side keeps shifting ever so slightly. I blame my ears ;) . The Aeroclip have always been high up on my list, and only last night I learnt they come with rubber casings for fit grip improvements … but it seems that all reviews crown Bose the sound winner (some say Huawei freebuds, at least for mid and treble. ) … I could get the Aeroclip used for ~$80 … or the pearlclip pro for $20. Or the popclip for $15 ;) … or I sit back and be happy with what I have 🤣
Thanks for the feedback, I got the AeroClips in the meantime and very much enjoy them. I get a very stable fit for running when I use those rubber sleeves, but when I use those and put the clips back in the case, I hear they still play music ;)
The AeroClips. More comfortable than the Bose (but those sound a bit better). Also got the Soundpeats Pearlclips, because I found them for like $18, not bad, surprisingly good for side sleeping.
Bought them in the meantime and totally agree. In some regards I even like them better than my Bose Ultra Open.
I wear my aeroclios all day. They're comfortable.
For what it's worth, I'm getting a very comfortable and secure fit with the ear clip configuration on the Soundcore AeroClip earbuds. You can't get fully immersive noise cancelling in that format, but the sound quality and build are remarkably good, and I never worry about them falling off. And comfort-wise, I often forget I'm wearing them. Great for the gym and podcast listening. If i can get the fit AND the features with the new Pixel buds, I'd still grab a set for music fidelity and loud environments.
