"Anything from soundcore. Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability. ... Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds."
"Great part is that model of earbud is relatively cheap to stock up on in case you have a habit of misplacing them like I do."

"I do use my $30 sound core open ears for the office and around the house but needed cheap anc buds for short flights where I don't want to carry my over the ears."
"But i can still hear the sounds around me, like the tv or someone else's phone on speaker, but it dulls out the outside sound enough. ... Others might prefer a better sound cancelling earbud though."

"Yeah I did the earhooks when I tried the Soundcore Aero, and it wasn't for me. After 30 minutes or so they got really uncomfortable, and it put me off trying the Shokz OpenFit range."
I have the aerofit 1s and the v20i from soundcore. Both are lovely
I really like using Soundcore’s AeroFit 2. The base model works really well too, both wrap around your ears and it’s an open ear version so you can still hear your surroundings without transparency.
Clip-style earbuds are great for exactly that use case. Super comfy, no ear fatigue, and you can actually hear coworkers without constantly pulling them out. Downside is weaker bass and less isolation, so they’re not ideal if you want immersion. Good options to check out: Sony LinkBuds – very natural transparency, great for office use Bose Ultra Open – pricey but super comfortable and clear Soundcore AeroFit – more budget-friendly, decent sound
Aerofit by soundcore Near daily, And I sweat A LOT when I jog.

Thanks for the reccs and advice, much appreciated!
True wireless sport earbuds have come a long way in terms of fit, battery life, sound quality, and price. I’m a huge soundcore fan, so I would recommend you to look into the sport x20, or the Aerofit series. Depending on what you’re looking for.
If you want semi in ears like air pods, there aren't many good options. Air pods is probably the best of this type. Don't get soundcore aerofits they are really bad. I hate mine. I had the soundpeats gofree before my aerofit and they cost 1/4th price but sound better.
The vent mesh on mine collapsed too easily. The glue barely held. I thought they'd be more durable being sports earbuds but guess not. They don't sound that good either, treble is shrill and voice is muddy. The soundpeats gofree I had was much better sounding than this. They were cheap and didn't last past a year but man they sounded super nice and I was very happy with them. For fully open earbuds 1more s50 open, moondrop pill, dunu vivaldi might be better.
Shokz opendots are my favourites that I use daily, I’ve had the Bose ultra open earbuds and also have clear arc 5. I’ve had and sold many such as the Huawei free clips and other shokz open earbuds and the sound pre aero fits, my wife currently uses the honor open they are ok. Shokz opendots are as good if not better than the Bose ultra open and are just as comfortable for all day use. Clear arc 5 have the best sound quality of any open earbuds plus the volume can be turned up loud! The only problem is the shokz opendots are just more comfortable for extended use. I’ve tried all the Amazon cheaper stuff that I’ve returned
I love my soundcore open buds.
I bought the soundcore open ear buds (so no band) and really like them, especially for the price compared to Shokz! From my research, sound quality with open ear/bone conduction will never be as good as traditional buds, so I went with a cheaper option and am very happy with them!
