Soundpeats Pearl Clip Pro is my go to recommendation lately on clip style buds if you don’t want to spends big money on the Bose Ultra Open. For a bit more the Soundcore Aerofit 2 has better sounds and works well for me even though I wear glasses.

My Soundcore Aerofit 2 set are amazing. They sound great, obviously bass is diminished without being closed but overall clear sound. They’re loud enough to wear on an airplane and hear what you’re listening to but when you’re running and have them at like 50%, you hear everything around you. They last over 12 hours without needing to be charged (the headphones, not the case). I can’t recommend them enough.

They’re also only $100. And they’re adjustable to fit your ears. I tried shokz before and actually hated them, they wouldn’t get loud enough when I was riding my bike and I couldn’t hear a thing.

Soundcore Aerofit 2 are stellar. 12+ hour battery life and then an additional 40-ish hours of charging on 1 charge. Open ear concept so volume below 50% you can hear everything easily. Very comfortable, adjustable design. $100. I tried Shokz and they didn't work with my head and the band wrapping around the back was annoying because it would bump into things.

Soundcore Aerofit 2, they’re open ear, way better sound than Shokz and way better bss, adjustable ear loops. I have both Shokz and just got these and prefer these 100 times out of 100

Really hard to tackle this question because rock and metal should be listened to with some high quality buds and foam tips to keep a tight seal and get good bass response. I have yet to hear a really good open ear buds for music. They're usually ok with some soft rock or pop, podcasts and reviews are fine. Ive tested 2 of the leading sets in this category, the Soundcore Aerofit 2 and the Nothing Ear Open. Both are very comfortable, decent battery life, not really made for anc when its open without a seal. I've heard really good things about the new Huawei FreeArc open ears and about to order a set to test. You may want to consider these Amazon branded ones called the BX27. They are actually an in ear sealed bud with ear hooks. The sound decent for $25, you can use aftermarket tips with them for a better seal, excellent battery life, decent anc, really cool but big charging case with leds and they come in like 7 colors.

Might not be what you're looking for, but I'm using SoundCore Aerofit 2 ($99.99), and I just ordered SoundCore AeroClip ($129.99). I used to use my airpods pro 2, but I felt like maybe noise isolation was not what I needed. These open-ear are comfortable and the sound quality is fairly good; although don't expect the bass from the Apple AirPods Pro 2 or Devialet 2, but it's passable/acceptable for gym use, for me.

Recently updated to the Soundcore Aerofit 2 open ear buds from the Google pixel buds A for use with my pixel 9 Pro xl. Really enjoying these, surprised that the bass is great for open ears buds. I'll never purchased in-ears again. Now I just need to replace my JBL Quantum TWS gaming ear buds for low latency open ears. Mind you, the latency is actually really good with the Soundcores I use it for mobile gaming, difference is very noticeable compared to the pixel buds A which has a bit of delay. I've yet to do a comparison with my JBLs. I own open headphones as well, Philips X2HR Fidelio, hardly used these days but I'm a big fan of open. I hate my ears getting sweaty and I prefer to hear my surroundings.

Made the decision to get Soundcore aerofit 2 It was out of Nothing open ear and Aerofit 2 After listening to countless reviews, reading up on discord, listening to your comments and experiences I found the the aerofit 2's sounded like the most comfortable and adjustable with surprisingly good sound and call quality, impressive battery and overall value for money It also helps that the black version would be convenient blending into dark hair to look less obvious. Thank you to all who helped decide and replied Remind me in like 4-5 days to give a review!

I'm writing this as I try them for the first time!!!! Compatible with glasses! So light that I feel like I'm not wearing them (I could easily accidentally forget that I'm wearing them and scratch my ear and be surprised that something was there) They feel secure once on and fitted properly. I have quite small and flimsy ears and have longer hair that makes it a little fiddly. The trick is to pull the bottom bits towards your ear lobe to make sure there's no empty space and a less loose fit. Did some head shake tests (over a bed) and they only felt loose when doing the classic rock circle hair spin The sound is so good! It could rival my old apple In-ear buds and a pair of open run pros of a mates that I tried (in a quiet environment). The voice, higher instrumental and bass are fairly distinguishable. I can hear the environment suprisingly well and can distinguish different sound I cannot report on durability, day-long wear nor their performance in a street or office environment...... So far these have been well worth the money and im not sure if I would appreciate all the bells and whistles and top grade More to come

I use their AeroFit 2 and am quite pleased. They rest on the ear without going into the ear canal so it's a different type of sound. Less bass but comfortable to use all day. I bought them around Xmas with a bunch of coupons and lightning deals for $60. Well spent.

Outside ear but not called bone conduction. very high quality sound for this type but no isolation. Suits my need but not for serious music listening. Just good all round. The x10 and x20 go in the ear so I assume the bass is stronger. I haven't used them but the seem to be gym favorites.

I don’t recommend bone conduction simply because the audio quality takes a massive hit. I prefer clip-on air conduction earbuds (like the Soundpeats you posted) or ones that go around your ears like the Soundcore AeroFit 2. Ones like the AeroFit 2 tend to have better bass because of their larger drivers. But I gravitate towards clip on ones because they tend to disappear when I wear them (I don’t feel them on). What’s your budget for this? The Soundpeats you posted will be fine. But, spend more and you’ll get better options like with the Soundcore C40i, AeroClip, or from other brands. My issue with Soundpeats is you can tell they’re budget earbuds. There’s a loud, shrilling voice that kicks on every time you turn the earbuds on and off. Their app is also atrocious and often times text doesn’t align with the button icons and some of it is still Mandarin. Brands like Soundpeats also focus on releasing new products with little care for previous releases. They’ll come out with 4-5 variants of the same thing over a year, then release new versions the year after.

r/Earbuds • Bone conduction/open advice? ->

P_Devil • 4 months ago

Have you looked at clip-on earbuds like the Soundcore AeroClip or C40i? I haven’t listened to the Nothing Open Ear, I’ve read they’re great but only if they sit exactly over your ear canals. They won’t sound good unless they have a good fit and it’s more difficult to get a good fit with them because they’re lacking ways to adjust them. I’ve listened to the Shokz OpenFit 2 and Soundcore Aerofit 2. I preferred the Aerofit 2 because you could adjust their angle, you can’t with the Shokz and the right one always stuck out more causing less bass on that side. I would also look at the Bose QC Open because they have more bass than any other open pair of earbuds I’ve listened to. If they’re out of your budget, I’d look to Soundcore or potentially Nothing if you can try them on first.

I'd recommend the Soundcore Aerofit 2. They are open ear, have long battery life, nearly the best in call quality for open earbuds, and good volume. I also have the problem with the majority of earbuds not staying in my ear, but these are comfortable and stay without any movement.

Hope you do a review on the OpenJumps. I've got the Fiil GS & I like it, alot. Its the most comfy open earbuds that literally disappears I've tried (incl the much vaunted Soundcore Aerofit 2) but also stays solidly in place even when doing the more extreme physical activities incl hanging upside down on the inversion table. Batt life's somewhat disappointing tho (claimed 10hrs but its a struggle to get 6+hrs) so decided to get the OpenJumps as spare. Mine likely wont be in for a coupla weeks Ya I agree the Huawei Freeclips are way overpriced but GF ordered it without asking me so it is what it is. That said, its a solid earbud & she enjoys it.

I believe they’re called soundcore aerofit. Randomly decided on them when my last cheap headset died and they have been so great. Incredibly long battery life, and they don’t go fully in your ears so you can still hear your surroundings. I used them during a half marathon and it was great because I could still tune into the energy from the race as it came up but also have my music

I've had the Galaxy Buds, Sony WFXM, Philips Fidelio, Anker Soundcore, 1More. All had good qualities but the bad outweighed those. The B&O tick every box for me. Expensive though, so not ideal for a budget buy!

Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds. You know what Sony, apple, Samsung Bose, and seinheiser have in common? They are disgustingly overpriced for a technology that is still going nowhere. The only time you use big brands is over ear. Earfun pro 4 Or Anything from soundcore. Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability. Which shocker is the #1 thing I personally couldn't give a crap about as long as it's decent

I've had a pair of Soundcore (Anker brand, I believe) for several years now and have upgraded with other Soundcores since. All of them still work well and I rotate them as they need charging. I only bought multiple because I tend to be hard on my earbuds (working out, jogging, even sleeping) but they've held up longer than I expected.

I use Soundcores (have for about a year now) and while I do like them, I do have some things I dislike too. The sound on them is good for the price, and according to my partner the mic on them picks up fairly well. Their battery life can be a bit iffy, but they are quick to charge and if not being used constantly will hold a charge for a long time. If you’ve ever had problems with earbuds not fitting, that’s probably going to be your main concern. No matter what size cover I use mine will always inevitably fall out, especially if I’m walking. Over all they’re my favorite pair of wireless earbuds I’ve owned- and I’ve gone through a lot- and for $30 they’ll serve you well.

I bought some random ones off Amazon based on the reviews. They were only £25 so thought I’d take a punt on them not really expecting them to be as good as people were saying. I also have a pair of Anker Soundcore but find the bass too light. Anyway, they are called Btootos and they are absolutely excellent for the money. They are almost as good as AirPods in terms of sound quality. Not quite but for the money I really don’t think it’s worth paying extra for the AirPods, the difference isn’t that big

Have you all looked into replacement tips from Spinfit, Sedna, Azla? Those seem like a good option as they carry lots of sizes and fit the ear better than the standard tips. (I don’t own any, I just saw them recommended on another post in the sub. It looks like SS, then S are the smallest sizes. They all have instructions on how to select your size and model). Also on Amazon there are silicone behind the neck straps that you can fit to any earbud while running/working out and later take them off when you don’t need them. I’m still deciding on a lightweight, compact, good-sounding, earbud under $100 and most of all great fitting for running. I have some Anker Soundcore that fall out of my ear easily with any of the included tips. I also have older Jabra Elite (not the active), which are more comfortable but still not great for running..

My Anker soundcores ($50 miracles) were rock solid until December. Now they cut out all the time at the gym in the high quality mode when it gets busy. It matched the December update and when I started to see the new Apple headset marshmallows show up. Could be Apple interference or Google Standard bluetooth incompetence at this point. Very annoying.
