Anker C40i. Clip on style ear buds so I can hear everything around me too. They’re so comfortable I forget I’m wearing them  if I’ve paused the music

For running I've switched to clip-ons because they are open and therefore don't produce that "thudding" sound on every step. Currently the Soundcore C40.

I use the Soundcore C40i by Anker which are a similar style to these and I love them. I have a lot of ear piercings that make most headphone styles impossible but they work for me! Not great for noise cancelling so I don't like them for the gym

hi mate i wanted to ask you seriously im trying to love these :D i owned so far 4 diff models. and recently just got c40i after failure of huawei freeclip, QCY c30, Beasus mc1.. c40i is the best so far for me but only indoor listening i can never listen anything outdoor. volume is vanishing no sound alike or i need to cracnk above 60-70% then sound quality get damaged lowering thickness etc.. i live in very big city and noisy in the middle of day but early hours fine.. or cafe etc is fine but over or in metro damn.. or crowded street :) . should i also try shokz or i will feel same and no difference for me ? PS: i have IEM, and TWs some just im trying to love these open buds as they are very convienent in many stiuation but failure in term of sound thanks

Looks sick. I currently have Jlab flex and Soundcore c40i. When will these drop other places that just Japan? I don't know enough about Shokz.. actually never tried anything from them.

I had good service from the Anker Soundcore Space A40. I bought them in June 2023 and they worked great until I lost one earbud in May 2025. Sound quality was good, battery life was very good and fit was comfortable. It's currently going for R1299 on Takealot. I've since switched to the open ear Soundcore c40 and I like them a lot. Sound quality is not as good as the Space A40 but I like that I can hear everything around and I forget that I'm wearing them.

Probably the best clip on ear buds out there. I've been on the hunt for truly open earbuds, tested Bose Open Ultra, Soundcore C40i and Soundcore Aeroclip. Recently managed to get my hands on these earbuds that was just released last month. So far IMO, it's the best in terms of sound, call quality and looks.

Currently only Japan. I have the C40i, these are worth the upgrade based on audio, comfort and call quality.

I've gone through so many of these trying to find the best solution. Even ran with an ear in and an ear out for a while. I've settled on the Soundcore C40i because I run on trail where you often get mountain bikers so I like to hear what's coming up behind me. They fit well, and come with different inserts for a closer fit if needed. Hold charge well and connect to my phone without issue. No issues with fit or holding in place for me. Other cool feature is they work as a Bluetooth headset. They're not Bose or Beats sound quality but they are also not Bose or Beats price, I'm very happy with them.
