Alright, I ordered Soundcore C50i, Aerofit 2 and Soundpeats Clip1 to see what we can do here. \- Soundpeats one looks and feels like straight off temu. Went back in the package and not even ckecking that one again \- C50i pinches my ears a bit, and they are quieter than I like. Not a fan of the button either. but willing to give it some more time. \- Aerofit 2 are so light and comfy enough to forget that I'm wearing anything. Sound quality is a bit meh compared to my airpods, but at half the price, I'm not complaining. Gets plenty lound too. The only real gripe is that MASSIVE charging case, as big as a small donut I'll be trialing the 2 soundcores for a few days and returning the one that I don't like.

Outlier here but I think Shokx are a waste of money. Factors people don’t mention usually in reviews: - if you have a small head, even the minis might not fit well so audio strength will be poor - not comfortable to wear with glasses or toques or headbands - if you’re running anywhere with ambient sound they’ll be very difficult if not impossible to hear at safe listening levels - sound quality isn’t great - it’s often muffled or crackly sounding If you insist on open ears, you might want to try something like Anker Soundcore c50i. They kind of clip above the ear instead of going in or over the ear. They’re a fraction of the cost of Shokx (literally 1/4 the cost) and allegedly have better sound quality. They were recommended to me by someone else on Reddit, after I got Shokx and realized I hate them for the reasons mentioned above.

A lot of Shokz suggestions here. They weren't the best for me in terms of comfort and longevity. They start to hurt the tops of my ears after around an hour of running and eventually give me a headache. I've also gone through 3 pairs. My last pair (Openrun Pro 2) didn't last through a single 50k race - just from getting wet with sweat, they started buzzing loudly in one ear. I've since returned those and switched to the Anker Soundcore c50i and I love them. No weight on the tops of your ears. I wore them in a 100mi race a couple of weeks ago with zero discomfort. They also come with a compact charging case. They get around 8hr before needing a charge and then I can just pop them in the case and pull them out again later fully charged - very easy to do while running. I also like that I can charge the case with a power bank while listening to the ear pods. Finally, the sound quality is better than Shokz and they get louder as well. I listen to audiobooks and I can finally turn the volume up loud enough to hear over traffic when I'm running along a busy road.

Just to give an alternative to Shokz. I've worn Shokz for a few years and they would always start to hurt the tops of my ears after a while and I also had issues with them being sensitive to moisture (my last pair, Openrun Pro 2, actually died on my very first run with them just from sweat exposure). After the last Shokz died, I ordered a pair of Anker Soundcore c50i. I am absolutely loving them so far. I just did a 26hr run in them with zero discomfort. They stay in place, get louder than Shokz, and have better sound quality. They're still open ear, so full situational awareness. Can't really comment on longevity yet, but they seem well built.

Same here. My last pair went back after dying on my first race (third time wearing them). Those were Openrun Pro 2s. I switched to Anker Soundcore c50i and like them so much more. They're more comfortable for me (Shokz would start hurting my ears after around an hour or so), get louder, sound clearer, and don't go over the top of the ears so sunglasses are more comfortable. I also like the little charging case - super easy to throw them in the case in my running belt to charge for a total battery life of nearly 30 hours.

Switched from Shokz (always had quality and comfort issues) to Anker Soundcore c50i. Couldn't be happier. Louder, more clear, more comfortable, have a super compact charging case that makes charging during long races a breeze, and haven't crapped out on me yet. I've been through 3 sets of Shokz and countless similar off brands. My last pair of Shokz (OpenRun Pro 2) died within a month during my very first race with them.

Anker Soundcore c50i. I switched from Shokz after my third pair stopped functioning after getting slightly wet. The final straw was a pair that was 1 week old that I wore for a 50k (Openrun Pro 2). It didn't rain or anything, they just got some sweat on them and died. I switched to the Soundcores and haven't looked back. Here are the things I like more: - I run daily in all conditions including rain and extreme heat with a lot of sweating. So far, no sign of any damage due to moisture. - Shokz would start to hurt the tops of my ears and give me a headache in longer races. I've had the Soundcores in for the entirety of 100mi races with zero discomfort. - No sizing issues. For Shokz, mini was a hair too small and caused more ear discomfort, but standard was a hair too big and bounced on the back of my neck which then reverberated through the earphones. - No need to plug in during a race. Between the earphones and the compact charging case, I get over 30 hours with zero external charging necessary. - No proprietary charging cable. Shokz finally went to Usb-c, but many competitors still haven't. - Better sound quality. Not the thin, treble of the Shokz - music actually sounds good and audiobooks are clear. - They get louder than Shokz, but do not go in your ears, so you still have complete situational awareness. I would often have trouble hearing audiobooks when running in louder areas with the volume maxed out. With the Soundcores, I'll have loud traffic going by and can still hear every word even with them only on like 60-70% volume. - They're cheap. Like $40 cheap. That's unbelievable considering what I was paying for Shokz.

Clip on style ear buds work well for me (I wear glasses) - the Soundcore C50i are cheap (USD <40) and do the job. If you want to spend more, try Shokz - I have their Shokz Open Run Pro and Open Run Pro 2. They're a bit bigger and more expensive but I like the physical buttons and the sound quality.

My pleasure! They are on Amazon or their official website. Also check out their Ear Open. I'm testing the soundcore c50i. And they are not bad. Even better than the NEO overall except for comfort. The only with open ear earbuds or no tips earbuds is that if u find yourself in a noisy environment. Ur listening experience goes straight to shit. Thus I suggest checking out the airpods and or galaxy buds (4/3 non pro version)

I cannot deal with the shokz and my glasses. I keep my glasses secure with a strap. For headphones I have clip ons. Shokz apparently has them coming out soon. I have some from Anker Soundcore and they clip on your ears. There is also a very expansive version from Bose. They are perfect. I don’t hear myself too much but I hear my surroundings. I also use them for biking and never could imagine any other ones.

Any Souncore, JUST Souncore, never go back sa mga 'cheap' airpod and wire earphones after buying their 50i. Very satisfied sa sound nung product nula since gusto ko sabog ang bass and linis sound pa rin. Tagal pa ng battery legit toh, if full volume maybe 3hrs+ bago malowbat since full vol. but if your into half/low vol. lang naman aabutin yan ng week bago malowbat, tested it noon hahaha. And yung pagchargean niya bilis din makacharhe.

I bought the soundcore open ear buds (so no band) and really like them, especially for the price compared to Shokz! From my research, sound quality with open ear/bone conduction will never be as good as traditional buds, so I went with a cheaper option and am very happy with them!
