I love the soundcore line. I have the liberty 4s and liberty 3 pros. I give a slight edge overall to the liberty 3 pros for everyday use.

Agreed. Sound is full and robust. Technically competent, not as detailed as the AZ80s but not too far off. Fit and look is ridiculously lowkey which is darn impressive combined with awesome app features and LDAC compatibility. My GOAT is still the Liberty 3 Pro in terms of overall sound, but i find myself leaning to use the nothings more bc of the fit and convenience of the app.

Still Liberty 3 Pro. But Nothing Ear 2024 comes close. Just dont expect the same refined sound from the likes of AZ80s, specially on the treble region.

I had these and think theyre terrible for metal. Just harshness overall, not really resolving. Az80 and liberty 3 pro are still a league above this.

Now youre saying that, it makes sense why my hear id always try tp reduce treble. But my personal preference is still a sparkly treble. (Hence the love of L3P and AZ80) i just find the treble on these soundpeats not as refined. It makes sense at the price point. I put Earfun Air pro 4 (better soundstage) and Nothing Ear 2024 (almost as good as L3P) a little above this. Liberty 4 pro is released yesterday and now im curious about those.

Bro. Holy sht. Im a/b ing my tws collection today and realized im full of it. Listening to some Revocation album and the Liberty 3 pros destroys them all lol. Im returning my Denon Perl Pros tomorrow (lack separation compared to L3P, more muddy and has a weird timbre on the mids) It was a re purchase for 149. Still lost the 2nd time around. I thought the nothing ears were better too, but upon comparison the nothings are grainier and lacking resolution. The only one who can go toe to toe with them in my collection are the Status 3ancs, which has better treble reproduction (cymbals are more fleshed out, L3P sometimes have metallic treble). I just cant believe my ears. The L3Ps are still right there among the top (for metal). I just wished their midrange reproduction was better. For that i pull out my AZ80s. Now i am onto the Gemini 2s, If I dont find them SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER than the L3Ps I am gonna lose my mind lol.

I don't have any sleep specific earbuds to compare, but i have A20i, L3pro, L4NC, Technics AZ80, and Bose QC, and a pair of Bose QC headphones. The Bose and L4NC are tolerable to lie on my side with my head on a pillow, though ironically, the headphones are better, despite their obvious bulk. The others are no go. Not actually comfortable, but doable. But yeah, sleeping is a whole other issue. Esp since when sleeping you are capable of reacting to discomfort. So you might wake up and find your earbuds or whatever, across the room.

i have xm4, liberty 3 pro, soundpeats, earfun, sennheiser momentum and I recently picked up Aviot TE-DO1v. Although the aviot TE lack features to XM4 and liberty 3 pros. The sound quality is amazing, it blows all my other ear buds out of the water. It's very underrated, and I believe it will remain underrated because nobody really knows about it or want to take a chance to give them a listen. I'm assuming the TE-ZX1 will sound just as good but with more rich features like the popular flagship earbuds such as sony, sennheiser, apple and etc.

r/headphones • Has anyone had any experience with Aviot TE-ZX1: Apparently these 49500 yen TWS earbuds debuting in Japan this year is the world's first 5-driver TWS earbuds: 1x10mm dynamic driver + 1x6mm planar magnetic + 3xKnowles balanced armature. Also runs on 5.3 Bluetooth with AAC, SBC and LDAC codecs. ->

I won't lie. I was disappointed with the overall sound quality. They lack bass and have no soundstage to speak of, unlike the Liberty 3 Pro. Maybe it's not a fair comparison, but it seems like stem-style earbuds aren't capable of delivering the type of sound quality that regular bud-style earbuds can. They're not bad by any means, but they're definitely a full step backwards compared to the L3P's.

I blame Soundcore for going with the stem-style instead of updating the L3P. A slightly smaller and better fitting version of the L3P would've been ideal.

THAT would be cool. If Soundcore could update the existing L3P with everything the L4P has except leave the sound quality alone, that would be an earbud impossible to beat imo.

I’ve been running with the Liberty 3 Pro. They never fall out and they sound good but (and this is probably true with all earbuds) there is a lot of body noise. Every step you can hear a thump. If the music is loud and bass heavy you don’t really notice but you can’t listen to quiet music. Having the ANC on helps with the thump though

There are, imo, quite a few superb choices. I am strictly a "sound is everything guy" so, take it for what it's worth. My son bought me the AZ-100 as a birthday gift. I get it in two weeks but, since I used to be into pretty high end audio equip. (Wish I had all that money back...Ha) I always remembered how amazing my planar speakers were. Ultra clean...So, I just bid on a new/sealed set of Edifier Neobuds Planar earbuds and won the bid, which was 35% off current list. Great seller and honest. I still have the Soundcore Liberty 3 pro, which is excellent but, a hint of sibilance. Great bud though. The Edifier is absolutely mind blowingly great sonically! I mean I am amazed how good this little set of things sound! ....I've seen reviews and read reviews where the folks felt the bass is a bit weak, or missing, or the sound doesn't get loud enough. I mean folks...Go see a hearing specialist....Soon! These earbuds pack a natural wallop and go deep! At 50% volume they are loud to me and as for inner details and subtle harmonies, which flow along with the music, they continue to absolutely amaze me! I am "not" some kind of fanboy, or affiliated with Edifier. I am simply a huge music lover and am over the top impressed with these Edifier planar buds. Amazing sound...but....imo, not for the gym or jogging. For my style and habits a "Great Late Night Bud"! My incoming AZ-100 has it's work cut out and I know it's supposed to be really good. Good luck

Any earbud recommendations for oddly shaped/variable sized ear canals? I've tried a few models and comply tips, but nothing has stayed fit for very long... never mind if I have to talk a lot. Running/exercising is impossible without using Shokz. Currently using Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro with large comply tips. Small are more comfortable, but they leave my ears much faster. Thanks!

If you’re into watching YouTube reviews, search for Gamesky on YouTube. He does a very good job of reviewing many different earbuds and gives examples of sound quality and call quality. He gives high praise for a lot of Soundcore earbuds for best value. Best sound for the price that you pay. I will echo what others here say. How they fit in your ears is probably one of the most important factors in buying earbuds. Make sure there’s a good return policy for whichever brand you go with. I tried the soundcore Liberty 3 Pros and they wouldn’t stay in my ears for anything. So I was able to return them. I also had problems with the Samsung Buds 2 pro. There was something that caused my ears to break out in some kind of skin irritation. No other earbuds did that to me. I eventually contacted Samsung and they refunded me because of this. I also just sent back my Oneplus Buds 3 because one of the mics took a crap. So they are going to replace them once they examine them. If they don’t find anything wrong with them for some reason, I guess I’ll just take a loss on them and try something else. But they have been my favorite buds so far. I just think that Oneplus lacks QC. But the sound is great on them. Far superior to Soundcore. I’ve only had them for a little less than a year. But Soundcore is usually the brand I go with because they are in my price range and have decent sound and nc.

Hi, I have the liberty soundcore pro 3. Just want to say it's frustrating how much they fall out of my ears and the wingtips are useless to me as my ear isn't the type that they will 'lock' into. I've been trying all different sorts of tips, just yesterday I had spinfit tips delivered so going to give them a go and see if they'll hold them in any better. I have tried a lot of different types of buds and none of them will stay in, so if you do get recommended something good send me a dm of a recommendation. If these spinfit tips don't work I'm going to need to invest in something else. At this point for me it's probably going to have to be overear headphones

Honestly coming from L3 Pro the sound is a step down. The only reason I upgraded was I could not get a good fit for L3 Pro. Tried all combo of wingtip and earbud size. The only way it was usable for me was to be stationary. Couldn't run around in them or be active.

If you want strictly noise cancelling Sony or Bose are the way to go. But if you want a small step down in noise cancelling but amazing sound quality I'd say any of the flagship Anker products are amazing. Liberty 3 pro if your ears can fit them or the new Liberty 4 Pro. I also own the WH-1000XM4 from Sony that I use when I need strong noise cancelling for such as plane rides. I use ear buds more for on the go.

I have been lured into the Pearls from reviews on reddit, and I am not impressed. My go to earbuds before was Soundcore Liberty Pro 3. But at some point they only lasted 1 hour after a recharge, which wasn't enough. So I looked reviews etc and was intrigued by the Pearls. But as I said, I'm not impressed. They are okay, but that's it. Overall sound is on par with my old ones. Noise cancellation is not better. They talk too much, and some of the tap stuff are not just as great imo. Double tap you actually need to be quite fast. That's just annoying. Also, the fit is just not as good. And I've tried every tip. Compared to the Soundcores they fall out way too easily. So, they are not bad per se, but I would really want another pair of Soundcores if I could repick.

I, like the author of the post, have Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro headphones, and mine also almost died battery, I do not recommend them to anyone! Yes, the sound is beyond praise and multipoint, etc., but in addition to the dead battery, they have very poor contact with the charging case. I regularly have to clean the contact base of the case and both headphones just to charge them!!! An example from life - First, at the right moment, the headphones will be discharged, then you will spend a couple of minutes to "correctly" install them on the charging station, an hour will pass, you will open the case, and it turns out that after a couple of minutes they lost contact with the charger and did not charge at all. You will go to clean the contacts, put them on charge again, and after another hour of waiting you will receive charged headphones Before buying, I was told that the contact with the case from the factory is weak, but I did not think that in a month it will become completely terrible

USA here. I use wired IEMs and headphones most of the time, so for wireless buds I just want comfort, call quality, battery life, and good enough ANC...for a "cheap" price. I'm not an afficionado on wireless earbuds, but myself & my ex owned and used the following for several months to years: Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro (mine), Pixel Buds Pro (her), Pixel Buds A-Series (her), Soundcore Liberty 4 NC (her), and Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 (mine). All of these are well below $300 in the states, and should be worse than what you've listed. Long story short, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 (imported) have been amazing for a few months now. I was looking at various Galaxy buds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, or the Jabra Elite 8 or 10 (Gen 2). Watched a ton of YouTube videos and found a channel that does a lot of mic quality comparisons (Weekend Gear Guide). Huawei mic performed the best to my ears. Fit out of the box is muuuch better than my L3P's. I added Comply foam tips (my usual preference) and they've been perfect without negatively impacting the charging Case. Multi-point pairing has worked great for me (Galaxy S23, Pixel Watch 3, Windows desktop, and Steamdeck). I have not noticed any lag or latency when gaming, though I only play offline single-player games. I work 11-hour overnight shifts and use them on low volume, ANC turned off, for background ambiance. I easily get the quoted 6-8 hours of battery life outside the case. Huawei isn't sold here, and I don't even think they're considered top tier, but I feel the FreeBuds Pro 3 are a great all around value and highly recommend them.

Hmmm ones with good sound could be denon perl pro and Sennheiser mtw4/momentum sport Honestly regarding wing tips, I've kinda been indifferent. Used the liberty 3 pros but then upgraded to technics az80 after I lost them. So far have pretty similar stability with a bit less of that occasional soreness I got from the wingtips There are also things like the Jabra elite active series with the silicone covering meant to help with making them more grippy to the ear. So there are different approaches to the same things

I like the features of the Pixel Buds Pro: switch to transparent mode when I speak, translate, good sound. But I really like the fit and sound of my NC Soundcore buds. The Liberty 4 Pro NC are $130, but the Liberty 4 NC regular are on sale for $70. Battery life is supposed to be excellent, too. I have older models of Liberty Air 2 and Liberty 3 Pro. Both sound fantastic, and the Liberty Pro wings really keep 'em in your ear. You're close very close, but the best earbuds for sound quality are still the Liberty 3 Pro. Don't let the price fool you. The only reason they're cheap is because they were released around 3 years ago. If you do end up with the Sennheiser Momentum 4 instead of using any of the presets or the custom EQ, use the Sound Personalization setting instead. It really brings the Momentum 4s to life and provides a much richer sound than if you used either one of the other two settings. Trust me on this one.

This is one of those situations where you don't have to spend huge money just for great sound quality. I have a decent sized collection of high-end earbuds, but whenever I want to listen to music, I always go back to my Liberty 3 Pro. Soundcore hit the perfect combination for the best sq imo and the fact that they include an eight band EQ in the app makes them very easy to adjust.

I also use Tidal Hi-Res along with LDAC and listen mostly to eighties rock and some metal, and I have yet to find anything better than my trusty Liberty 3 Pro's. Excellent soundstage and separation along with plenty of bass and clarity, and the volume is pretty good, although both the Liberty 4 Pro and Liberty 4 NC are considerably louder but lack a bit in sound quality imo.

Is there something keeping you from going with something newer from Soundcore? I have the Liberty Air 2 Pro also, and their sound quality is amazing even by today's standards. I think if they were released today, they'd get rave reviews (minus for the lack of multipoint). The best newer earbuds from Soundcore are the Liberty 4 NC imo. I like their sound quality more than the newer Liberty 4 Pro, but they're not quite as comfortable imo. Strictly for sound quality, nothing beats the Liberty 3 Pro. Soundcore hit perfection with these imo.

*Sennheiser Momentum 3/4 with Sound Personalization - this is the important part - the Sound Personalization option because it puts the customizable EQ to shame. I've been rotating between these (the 3s) and my Liberty 3 Pro strictly for music. Although they're dated at this point, the Liberty 3 Pro are still at the very top of my list for music. Their bass, soundstage, and separation are a step above anything else I've tried, but the Sennheiser has better clarity. What Sennheiser was able to do with only 7mm drivers is nothing short of amazing.

I currently have the AZ80 and Momentum 4, Liberty 3 pro, Linkbuds S Had PerL pro, Elite 10, Status 3anc, Pi7 S2 Tried a friends Nothings Ear (2024) and they have insane amount of bass compared to the rest! AZ80 with superbass preset gives me some mega clean bass. Momentum 4 can be personalised to give you a decent bass, not as bassy as momentum 3. Liberty 3 pro has more bass amount than both above, the subbass rumble is impressive. PerL pro and 3anc has slamming bass.

Sound core liberty pro 4 are great pods from the price. I think they may have been replaced now. But I had the 2, 3 and 4s all great. Better than the Sony ones I had at twice the price.

Anker soundcore Liberty 3 pro. They're a bit larger but they stay put in your ears no matter what you do. Call quality is good, nc is good and audio quality is very good after adjusting thru the app. I have had mine for 2 yrs with no issues. They can be had on Amazon for as little as 75.00 on sale. (80.00 with coupon right now)

Ok if you are looking for a wired multi “speaker” earbud those would be called in-ear monitors which are expensive to very expensive! Bluetooth currently I know of Status Betweens which I believe have a driver and two balanced armatures (small good for high to low mid frequency), and Soundcore Liberty pro 4 which has a driver and “titanium tweeter”. I have the older Soundcore Liberty pro 3 which has a driver and one balance armature, I also have a pair of Klipsch T5 II just a single driver which is better? Both are good but the Soundcore really only shines with audiobooks, podcast, movies etc, so unless you listen to a lot of operas or brassy music just stick with a single driver earbud or go to bigger over the ear headphones

Earfun Free Pro 3, Baseus MA10S, Liberty 3 Pro - all have wings and are good choices. I usually have the best luck with buds with wings, but Pixel Buds Pro & JBL Live Beam 3 stay in place well for me without wings.

Try some Anker earbuds like Liberty 3 pro(good for the gym), liberty 4 pro(stem style). These have LDAC codec support and sound quality is awesome with Apple's ALAC. Unfortunately LDAC only supported in most of Android phones. With iPhones you may only getaway with AAC.

AAC in Apples is fairly good. But not better than Android world's Aptx and LDAC. I always prefer LDAC with Apple Music's ALAC. My ears are sensitive to sound and I can hear the smoothness, crisp notes difference in AAC codec and LDAC. But most of people don't and some doesn't care.  From the buds I've used, I suggest, Bang for buck - Anker models(liberty 3 pro, 4 pro) Best sound quality - Technics az series Flat sound, good anc - sony xm5(my daily driver)

yw.  I haven't try those. But had an Anker liberty 3 pro a while back, they sounded awesome. And they had LDAC as well. Wanted to try Liberty 4 pro but stem style buds are not my thing. They are bad for the gym. Technics is the most recommended one for sound quality as I've heard.

I have been using Soundcore earbuds, including the Liberty and Space models, for a long time. While I know Soundcore earbuds aren't the best, I've found they often fall out of my ears. Now that I have a budget, I'm looking for the best earbuds that stay securely in place while running or going to the gym. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Don't see them mentioned much but the B&O Beoplay Ex. Fantastic sound quality and the most comfortable earbuds I've ever tried. I've had the Galaxy Buds, Sony WFXM, Philips Fidelio, Anker Soundcore, 1More. All had good qualities but the bad outweighed those. The B&O tick every box for me. Expensive though, so not ideal for a budget buy!

Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds. You know what Sony, apple, Samsung Bose, and seinheiser have in common? They are disgustingly overpriced for a technology that is still going nowhere. The only time you use big brands is over ear. Earfun pro 4 Or Anything from soundcore. Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability. Which shocker is the #1 thing I personally couldn't give a crap about as long as it's decent

I've had a pair of Soundcore (Anker brand, I believe) for several years now and have upgraded with other Soundcores since. All of them still work well and I rotate them as they need charging. I only bought multiple because I tend to be hard on my earbuds (working out, jogging, even sleeping) but they've held up longer than I expected.

I use Soundcores (have for about a year now) and while I do like them, I do have some things I dislike too. The sound on them is good for the price, and according to my partner the mic on them picks up fairly well. Their battery life can be a bit iffy, but they are quick to charge and if not being used constantly will hold a charge for a long time. If you’ve ever had problems with earbuds not fitting, that’s probably going to be your main concern. No matter what size cover I use mine will always inevitably fall out, especially if I’m walking. Over all they’re my favorite pair of wireless earbuds I’ve owned- and I’ve gone through a lot- and for $30 they’ll serve you well.

I bought some random ones off Amazon based on the reviews. They were only £25 so thought I’d take a punt on them not really expecting them to be as good as people were saying. I also have a pair of Anker Soundcore but find the bass too light. Anyway, they are called Btootos and they are absolutely excellent for the money. They are almost as good as AirPods in terms of sound quality. Not quite but for the money I really don’t think it’s worth paying extra for the AirPods, the difference isn’t that big

Have you all looked into replacement tips from Spinfit, Sedna, Azla? Those seem like a good option as they carry lots of sizes and fit the ear better than the standard tips. (I don’t own any, I just saw them recommended on another post in the sub. It looks like SS, then S are the smallest sizes. They all have instructions on how to select your size and model). Also on Amazon there are silicone behind the neck straps that you can fit to any earbud while running/working out and later take them off when you don’t need them. I’m still deciding on a lightweight, compact, good-sounding, earbud under $100 and most of all great fitting for running. I have some Anker Soundcore that fall out of my ear easily with any of the included tips. I also have older Jabra Elite (not the active), which are more comfortable but still not great for running..

My Anker soundcores ($50 miracles) were rock solid until December. Now they cut out all the time at the gym in the high quality mode when it gets busy. It matched the December update and when I started to see the new Apple headset marshmallows show up. Could be Apple interference or Google Standard bluetooth incompetence at this point. Very annoying.
