Problem with the soundcores though is the ear tips. If you need to replace them good luck. The flanges that the top attach to on the soundcores is a lot larger than most others. I have the Liberty 4s and have been trying to find XL tips that fit and it has been damn near impossible. You can but some from soundcores, but you can only buy a set of multiple sizes for like $22 dollars. So $30 by the time they are shipped to me. Nope. Gonna find something else.

The soundcore I had were the liberty 4s, terrible booming sound whenever I took any sort of step with ANC. Unusable on the bus whenever it would hit a small bump, the sound quality was also middling. And Iv’e tried almost every other earbud under the sun, while I think the momentum 4, and AZ80 from technics sound better, nothing, and I mean NOTHING will ever come close to the complete package that the pro 2s offer. It’s laughable how far behind every single company is in that aspect.

Liberty 4 will handle all of that. Possibility mine have an issue with phone calls. End user hears me sort of distorted. Battery life is crazy good compared to my AirPod Pro and Tozo. My Tozo’s are older and compared to AirPod and Liberty’s, they are basically trash and heading to my local electronic recycling place.

Good for you for trying but the data is pretty bad I think. For example, there's a significant difference between the Liberty 4, the Liberty 4 NC, and the 4 Pro. And I'm sure the 4NC has been recommended way more than your data show. There's also a big difference between the Denon PerL (listed) and the Perl Pro. The pro is one of the most recommended ~$300 bud here, and it's not registered in your list. Same with Nothing (which I have and I think what you've listed) vs Nothing (a) (which is cheaper but gets recommended way more. Not your fault really because the manufacturers use stupid repetitive model names, and we use abbreviations (az-80 instead of the manufacturer name, or super abbreviations like L4NC).

One huge strike against the Liberty 4: proprietary eartips. For me the eartips are really annoying. They always come out, and I've already lost one. Why did this company decide to use a proprietary design?

Its between hauwei and soundcore for me. I have the liberty 4 (non pro) and they are great for multipoint connection, and clear mic. The library 4 pro improve on the mic a little, but hauwei has a slightly better mic. Sound wise, the soundcores are good for the price range, not much in the way of eq for the normal 4, so not sure how the 4 pros would work.

Totally feel you—one earbud at the gym is torture. And yeah, Powerbeats 2? Overpriced hype. Here are your best bets: Sony WF-1000XM5 – Top-tier noise canceling, killer bass, customizable EQ. Pricey but worth it. Anker Soundcore Liberty 4/5 – Great ANC, solid fit, EQ control, and way more affordable. Pixel Buds Pro – Smooth ANC, EQ options, perfect for Android users. Sony WH-1000XM5 (Headphones) – Over-ear comfort, elite noise canceling, full sound control. On a budget? Donerton earbuds (~$25) get the job done with decent bass and fit. Best combo of value and performance? Go Anker or Sony. Want max comfort? Grab the WH-1000XM5.

The Elite 8 Active 2s have a lot of issues. I had to file a warranty repair for them. They sent me a brand new pair but I sold it on eBay. This is despite the fact that the sound quality was exceptional and the wear comfort was unparalleled. For the list that you provided all options are great though I will give the edge to the LinkBuds. Also look into the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro. The sound quality is 2nd to none and it does very well at the gym. The only issue with it is the case imo… it is a space helmet design which I’m still kinda getting used to and it is on the bigger side. All else I’m very satisfied with them.

Mine broke so I went with the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro. The fit is not as good as Jabra but the sound quality and ANCare far superior. I also tried the Technics AZ100s, but the fit was really awful and the performance was marginally better than the Liberties Pro Price to performance, the Liberties were a winner for me. Costco is selling them for $99 right now. That’s $50 off

I am searching a long time for BT inears without or less lag. It's not an easy task at all. Last, after some suggestions, I tried the blackshsrk Lucifer t6, as they are explicit for gaming, having a low latency mode. But they fail in sound quality, no good bass and don't fit well in my ears. I tried to get some special earplugs for them but they are too thick and fit not in their case with the new plugs and therefore can't be loaded. Most gaming inears use a dongle but I can't use one of these cause I have a Viture pro xr glasses which use the usb-c port. Last chance is going a little deeper in my money pockets and currently ordered some soundcore liberty 4 pro. According to some tester on YouTube they work good with the deck and have a gaming mode. Also have good anc and sound on par of airpods or Bose but for less money. They arrive on Friday, fingers crossed.

Answer myself as an addition: The Anker soundcore liberty 4 pro arrived today and they solved my problem completely. They have a gaming mode with a very very little lag, exactly like the blackshsrk ones. So I guess they are using the apt x low latency mode. You can easily switch between music and gaming mode. Off course music mode sounds better. The sound is very good so far, strong bass, good highs (they have two drivers). The soundcore app has lot of features. The little "screen" in their case is very innovative and makes it very easy to switch e.g. the sound modes without the app. I am sure that a lot of others e.g. apple will copy that feature. The anc works also good.

Second that, they are great. They have two drivers (high & bass) which gives a very good bass and clear heights . Best is their gaming mode which gives you near zero lag. And the ability to switch modes and settings with their case (has a display) is a very unique point. But maybe you like to wait some days as the liberty 5 series is starting there days. Maybe they are even better or the 4 go down in price. I had bought them in their store during a small sale and paid 100 euros.

Yes you are right, that was the pro ones. Yepp, was over 20% in their store and some leather case for free (which costs 20 bucks, but if you pay that you are nuts, it's a 50 cent leather case). Funny thing was, that on the next day they where on sale on amazon.de also for 100 euros.

Also I've done some serious research on which are the best atm. If you own a galaxy phone, go for these. Otherwise the Anker soundcore liberty 4 pro and I believe the onebuds +(?) are good contenders within this price range (of the 50% off galaxy's, full price at 250€/$ is not worth it). It all depends on what your interested in. Calling& sound was most important for me. [check this YT video ](https://youtu.be/-nWkcwUi394) and check his website. He has a excel sheet (free) to check all buds. In the 2nd graph you can change how important a feature is by changing the nr. This is all you need to make a good decision.

Anker Soundcore Space A40 are amazing for the price, I also got the Liberty 4 ANC which are a notch above. I also have a pair of OnePlus pro which are more than twice the price and while the build quality seems a lot better, the sound and ANC is not twice as good. I'm glad I have them and tried them, but I will probably never pay above 100$ for a pair of earbuds again as they are basically garbage once the battery life is gone.

Im not a huge fan of noise cancelling either for the most part, but two points; - most apps can disable it easily. Once you remove it from controls, theres no way it accidentally comes on. - a lot of cheaper noise cancellation is AWFUL. It feels like horrible pressure on the ears and I actually got sick off many cheaper options. Having the option to just gently reduce decibels is actually quite nice, and my favourite for this is the Liberty 4 ANC’s. They have a decent balanced sound profile, and thwir noise cancellation isnt the ‘strongest’, but it feels very natural and just shaves a few more db off surroundings. Sort of like a really good seal from earplugs. If you sont transit or work in an office or go to the gym then you dont really need it. But it can be a godzend for those situations.

I got myself some soundcore liberty 4 because I needed some ANC earphones with better isolation than my airpods 4 anc, and something more pocketable than my sony's wh100xm5 and I'm so impressed by that cheap ass anker's. The ANC is brutal, the sound pretty good, the battery umbeatable I only wish it had true bluetooth multi point or whatever is called, as It connects to two sources only and you must disconnect manually if you want to add another source.

Adding to the support for Anker Soundcore. I've got a pair of Liberty 4 buds and a Life Q30 headset, they're both great, although the Q30 can start to feel tight if I wear it for longer than an hour (I wear glasses). The Liberty 4's came with 4 sizes of in-ear rubbery bits, and I ended up going with different sizes for each ear to get a good fit - the fit is usually my complaint about earbuds, so I'm pretty stoked that both stay in place. One of my favourite features of the app is the white noise generator: I like mixing the raindrops, wind in trees, and purring cat, for when I'm not listening to something but don't want just the hiss of the noise cancelling. I swear I'm not AI.

Tried the Hammerhead Pro, olid low latency in game mode, but mic's just okay. EPOS GTW 270 is better for voice chat, super clear with the dongle. Avoid XM4s for gaming — great sound, awful lag. If you're on a budget, Soundcore Liberty 4 ain't bad either.

I've already tested an Earfun, and I found the construction material to be very similar to Soundcore, so this already wins a lot of points, this model has 2 high-resolution codecs, if you prioritize sound quality, LDAC is the best option. They say that the audio of the CMF plus is even better than the Pro version, but it doesn't have dual drivers, the Earfun doesn't have it, but the set is complete, now the Oneplus doesn't even compare, it uses LHDC 🤢, it will prioritize stability, and probably in games it will be in SBC, I like to play while listening to music, I don't use streaming, I have my Flac files, so playing the sound seems like a poorly tuned FM radio, I tested the Airpods, and at least In it, nothing special, a headphone with AAC, I don't know if there is much difference in sound quality when used with Apple, I've never used an iPhone, I think the sound is full-bodied, good definition, like the Galaxy B2pro, so for me it's a very expensive headphone, but it only delivers AAC, Soundcore Liberty 4 does a wonderful job, I imagine the L5, I'm going to test the CmfPro2, but already thinking about the L4 pro or L5 😁

Everyone is suggesting shokz for the ability to hear your surroundings, but it comes at the cost of audio quality and having that wonky headband wrapped around your head. I’ve got the Soundcore Liberty 4 noise cancelling headphones and couldn’t recommend them more. They are under $100, have a transparency mode that allows you to easily hear your surroundings and you don’t give up sound quality. You can also adjust the settings to noise cancelling when on an airplane or train and block everything out (best of both worlds). 10 hour single charge plus fast top off charging with the case (10 minute charge can get something like 1-2 hours of playtime). I run with them all winter in the Pacific Northwest and am consistently getting them soaked, no issues yet.

I'd go with either the EarFun Air Pro 4, or the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC. Some little might say CMF Buds 2 Plus but I have the Buds 2 Pro and like the EarFun earbuds better. There are a lot of great choices at this price level. For $100, I would wait and get the EarFun Air Pro 4 for around $60 (I got mine for $56) and another set of Tozo earbuds for other uses (the NC9 are a good set to use when you don'tv want to, or can't use the Air Pro 4 (like when they're charging or something), the T21 are really good open style earbuds that I use daily, and the OpenEarRing are great for casual listening. I use the OpenEarRing when I'm sleeping, I use one and switch it from one ear to the other when I sleep on my side).

I think the Liberty 4 Pro are really nice with a lot of great features. The ANC is maybe a little better. The touch controls are a little better. Even the passthrough is a bit better. But, last time I checked they cost a lot more too. (Just checked Amazon and the EarFun are $63 and the Soundcore are $130.) You really can't go wrong with either choice. I really like Soundcore earbuds & headphones. I just feel like the value of the EarFun earbuds is really difficult to beat. You could get the EarFun and 2 sets of different Tozo earbuds for under $100 right now if you wanted to.

I have some Anker Soundcore earpods and they have a lot of audio presets one is for podcasts and works brilliantly for audiobooks. You just select the preset on the app.

I used these since they are so cheap for a long time. I was bothered by the silicone wing piece constantly sliding off. I upgraded to raycon fitness earbuds. My main issue is comfort and staying in the ear, and I refuse to spend 200 for earbuds.

i struggled with air buds because of my ear shape and discomfort. A friend recommended Soundcore Liberty's to me, and i havent looked back. I wear them for workouts and work trips. 4 years of life thus far, no battery degrade or sound degrade. Lasts \~6 hours with a charging case which holds its charge for about a month to keep the buds ready. I basically plug the charging case in to charge for like 4 hours once a month.

AirPods Pro for ease. Also own Max. For the best, I’d recommend Sony’s top cans. Can’t recommend the best buds as I’ve not tried Sonys or Bose’s newest models. AirPods have horrific fit (generally speaking, it’s a known thing even if it works for some), no water proofing, and don’t really top any category except connection strength due to their dedicated chip. But if you are in apples ecosystem, their usability cannot be beat. Soundcore Liberty and SoundPeats make very solid budget friendlier options that can be trusted to not break in a week.

I have a pair of Sony WTF4000s or whatever the hell they're called, and they are very nice, but my AirPods Pro: * Are far, far, far more comfortable * Stay in my ears * Always connect * Have a much smaller/pocketable charging case I got the Sonys as wireless earbuds for Zoom calls on my Windows machines, but I can't get them to work reliably for that. They are now paired to my TV so I can watch movies or game without bothering my wife, but... they don't work reliably for that, either. Hell, they don't even natively connect to the PS5, which is baffling to me. I also have a pair of Anker Liberty earbuds, which worked for a few months. Cheap, sure, but if you have to replace them every year because the battery life falls to 20 minutes, then you pretty quickly get up to AirPod prices. TL;DR: AirPods Pro FTW

I've tried many brands (beats, Sony, pixel buds, akg, master and dynamic$$) and I've finally settled on the. Anker Soundcore for me. I use the p40i with the Comply foam tips and I've had no complaints during my calls. Great part is that model of earbud is relatively cheap to stock up on in case you have a habit of misplacing them like I do. My current Pixel is the 8.

I have a pair of anker soundcore buds that I’ve been using heavily daily for like 4 ish years now. The battery seems to last nearly as long as it did when new. The sound quality is pretty good for my non technical ears. Had to grab a new pair cause I lost them for a few months but now I have them both and haven’t noticed a decline in the originals at all. I like that they’re decent quality yet affordable to replace.

Très souvent j'ai aussi un écouteur qui ne se recharge pas quand je le rentre dans le boitier alors que l'autre s'est rechargé à 100%. Je conseillerais perso des écouteurs anker soundcore.

Battery life (number of charges) goes down a lot if you let the charge go below 20%. I recently bought some Anker Soundcore wireless earbuds and they warn you when the charge gets to 20%. Also, charging to 80% improves battery life but I don't think you can control that as the earbuds will charge automatically when they're in the charging case.

If you are on Samsung, any Galaxy buds with be good. Buds 2 pro very well with some Bass emphasis. Buds 3 pro (I have them and love them), might be the best on sound quality. Buds 3 FE great noise cancellation, but missing some features because they are FE, still great. OnePlus buds 4, might be the best overall for the price, no complaints actually for that price. The Huawei are actually pretty good for the price, but like the FE, may miss some features, nothing to worry about. And the Soundcore may be the midd point between all of them, not bad at all, but no the best, the same, no complains at the price.

Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds. You know what Sony, apple, Samsung Bose, and seinheiser have in common? They are disgustingly overpriced for a technology that is still going nowhere. The only time you use big brands is over ear. Earfun pro 4 Or Anything from soundcore. Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability. Which shocker is the #1 thing I personally couldn't give a crap about as long as it's decent

My Bose are a little too bulky to sleep on an airplane so for long flights I will take the soundcore or I also have the Shokz Open Air that work well too because of how they sit but with Shokz, they aren’t noise canceling because you can still hear noises around you.

I bought some random ones off Amazon based on the reviews. They were only £25 so thought I’d take a punt on them not really expecting them to be as good as people were saying. I also have a pair of Anker Soundcore but find the bass too light. Anyway, they are called Btootos and they are absolutely excellent for the money. Have you all looked into replacement tips from Spinfit, Sedna, Azla? Those seem like a good option as they carry lots of sizes and fit the ear better than the standard tips. (I don’t own any, I just saw them recommended on another post in the sub. It looks like SS, then S are the smallest sizes. They all have instructions on how to select your size and model). Also on Amazon there are silicone behind the neck straps that you can fit to any earbud while running/working out and later take them off when you don’t need them. I’m still deciding on a lightweight, compact, good-sounding, earbud under $100 and most of all great fitting for running. I have some Anker Soundcore that fall out of my ear easily with any of the included tips. I also have older Jabra Elite (not the active), which are more comfortable but still not great for running..
