"Soundcore is just aggressive V shape tuning with muddy bass ... I think when the bass starts to bloat and literally cover other instruments in the mix, I’d say that is objectively bad. ... the sound quality was also middling."

"recently the battery has degraded down to 30min."
"battery life was sorely lacking"
"if you have to replace them every year because the battery life falls to 20 minutes"
Problem with the soundcores though is the ear tips. If you need to replace them good luck. The flanges that the top attach to on the soundcores is a lot larger than most others. I have the Liberty 4s and have been trying to find XL tips that fit and it has been damn near impossible. You can but some from soundcores, but you can only buy a set of multiple sizes for like $22 dollars. So $30 by the time they are shipped to me. Nope. Gonna find something else.
saw this kinda question a lot and honestly most people end up happy with either Soundcore Liberty 4s or the Pixel Buds A if they want something cheaper. the Liberty 4s are kinda the do everything well option as in comfy, great battery, solid anc and the sound is way better than the price suggests. they’re the ones i reach for when i’m not trying to think too hard lol. if you want something lighter/cheaper, Pixel Buds A are stupid comfortable and sound clean, just no real noise canceling. airpods pro are also great but only if you’re in the apple ecosystem, but you’re basically paying extra for the convenience. I would suggest checking sites like reddit vetted which basically summarize reddit reviews for you-i did that and ended up with soundcore after checking the good reviews
The soundcore I had were the liberty 4s, terrible booming sound whenever I took any sort of step with ANC. Unusable on the bus whenever it would hit a small bump, the sound quality was also middling. And Iv’e tried almost every other earbud under the sun, while I think the momentum 4, and AZ80 from technics sound better, nothing, and I mean NOTHING will ever come close to the complete package that the pro 2s offer. It’s laughable how far behind every single company is in that aspect.
I’ve tested many earbuds this year, Soundcore Liberty 4 stands out for daily comfort, balanced sound, solid ANC, great value The video that pushed me over the edge was this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScvaGhzP30w
Have the same couple of pairs. Huawei's mic and NC are superior to the Liberty.
I assume you meant the SoundCore by Anker. Second them. Been a huge fan of their headphones/earbuds for a while. I have the Liberty 4 and the Liberty Pro 4s. Absolutely love them! The sound is amazing in them and for the price, can't be beat. I have the Space A40s - 2 for me, 1 pair for my wife. She loves them too. The Libertys and the Liberty Pros.
Tried the Hammerhead Pro, olid low latency in game mode, but mic's just okay. EPOS GTW 270 is better for voice chat, super clear with the dongle. Avoid XM4s for gaming — great sound, awful lag. If you're on a budget, Soundcore Liberty 4 ain't bad either.
Can get the tozo crystal pods for 21.42 shipped to your door. I currently own those, soundcore liberty 4 , samsung galaxy buds 2 pro and sennheiser momentum 3.... its unreal to me how good the tozo are at only 19.99 plus tax. I will never spend big money on a pair of earbuds again
I had the Liberty 4s for two years. Let’s me start this off by saying—in no way shape or form are they perfect earbuds, but they are reliable. They have solid ANC and transparency—but again, they aren’t perfect. The case survived hundreds of drops, and the battery drop off after a while wasn’t that bad, but it did leave me wanting a bit more than what I got. The transparency in mine stopped working in one ear after a while, and muffled a bit, but that was all still before I lost the left ear. Now I’m in between a rock and a hard place trying to save up for a different pair, but for what I got? I’d gladly get them again. Just know that they’re not exactly a beast in terms of the top performers on the market, but they are definitely one of the best budget friendly pairs out there. If you have the opportunity to get them at $45 usd like I did on eBay directly through soundcore, I would snatch them up. And on second approach, if you want something even cheaper with a bit less options, but more of a budget friendly choice, their A20i model has literally lasted me 3 years. That’s what I’m currently using now lol. But I’ll be honest to finish this off once again—the top performers are the top performers for a reason.
I've already tested an Earfun, and I found the construction material to be very similar to Soundcore, so this already wins a lot of points, this model has 2 high-resolution codecs, if you prioritize sound quality, LDAC is the best option. They say that the audio of the CMF plus is even better than the Pro version, but it doesn't have dual drivers, the Earfun doesn't have it, but the set is complete, now the Oneplus doesn't even compare, it uses LHDC 🤢, it will prioritize stability, and probably in games it will be in SBC, I like to play while listening to music, I don't use streaming, I have my Flac files, so playing the sound seems like a poorly tuned FM radio, I tested the Airpods, and at least In it, nothing special, a headphone with AAC, I don't know if there is much difference in sound quality when used with Apple, I've never used an iPhone, I think the sound is full-bodied, good definition, like the Galaxy B2pro, so for me it's a very expensive headphone, but it only delivers AAC, Soundcore Liberty 4 does a wonderful job, I imagine the L5, I'm going to test the CmfPro2, but already thinking about the L4 pro or L5 😁
The only complaint I had about the L4 was its very high frequency in the treble, voices like Beyoncé and Ozzy hiss, even lowering the frequency, for now the only TWS that did 6 hours with LDAC and ANC turned on, the eartips were horrible, I managed to find the Spinfit 360
