I can't speak much about the wider options, but I've recently bought the liberty 5 pros ($170 in case that's an issue), and I'm impressed. They're a distinct upgrade from my galaxy buds 2 pro in every regard except sound quality. Sounds quality is good, but the Galaxy buds were better even to my non-audiophile tastes. The noise canceling is just as crazy as it looks on YouTube. I was running an impact driver and tapping metal hinges with a hammer and the guy I was on the phone with had no clue.

Agreed the sound quality was a major let down.

I did, yes. I didn't need them, if the sound quality was better I would have kept them.

Definitely not, I got them and returned them specifically because of the sound quality.

Totally agree, there is plenty of bass, it's just clean and crisp. It's not that "Beats" crap bass.

If you're looking for straight up best sound, this is what to get. Sounds like he's looking for a more well rounded pair. Soundcore is releasing the new Liberty 5 Pro on the 21st of this month and they will be LOADED with features and have GREAT sound quality and ANC/TRANSPARENCY. I also have the Denon PerL Pro and Sennheiser Momentum 3 and those are my favorites. I've gone through Sony's, Bose, Samsung, B&W etc and those 2 fit the best AND have AMAZING sound. You can find both on sale pretty regularly. I got the PerL Pro's for $150 and the Momentum 3's for $109 on Woot.

If you don't like the sound, use the EQ. You can tune the hell out of these and all the other features are just icing on the cake!

>AI note taking function is trash And subscription tier limited. The regular 5Pros are fantastic, I won't even consider the Max (or recommending the Max) because of the limitations.

Very bad sound quality. Very flat sound. Earbuds Don't fit properly. Very bad design. Battery is not good. Don't buy these crap ever. 4NC is much better.

Got them on Friday, returned them on Tuesday. I didn't like the sound, the ANC wasn't so impressive for me, and the recording is useless without call recording. So I'm staying with my AirPods Pro 3 for now.
