"been using for more than a year now still working as the day i bought them"

"4 years of life thus far, no battery degrade or sound degrade. Lasts ~6 hours with a charging case which holds its charge for about a month to keep the buds ready. I basically plug the charging case in to charge for like 4 hours once a month."

"can be trusted to not break in a week"

"Anything from soundcore. Will give you the identical features with slightly less noise canceling ability. ... Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds."

"Great part is that model of earbud is relatively cheap to stock up on in case you have a habit of misplacing them like I do."

"If you’re not an apple person or don’t want to spend as much, the soundcore liberty are essentially the same product for 1/3 the price."

"I only need to charge it once a week even though I use it for 7-8hr per day"

"Battery life lasts all week for me since I switch out using one bud at a time, but I think they have like 30h of battery if using both."

"But i can still hear the sounds around me, like the tv or someone else's phone on speaker, but it dulls out the outside sound enough. ... Others might prefer a better sound cancelling earbud though."

Thanks for great review. I share most of your impression ( compared to my buds 2 pro which i use for a while and gave to my kid since they fit her ears much better ) What foam tips do you use ? I found original tips isnt too comfortable for me and they also felt cheap and smell rubbery.. i just use original silicone ones from soundcore liberty air 2 that died on me suddenly after 5 yrs but would like to try some foam style if you can recommend any.

I like the features of the Pixel Buds Pro: switch to transparent mode when I speak, translate, good sound. But I really like the fit and sound of my NC Soundcore buds. The Liberty 4 Pro NC are $130, but the Liberty 4 NC regular are on sale for $70. Battery life is supposed to be excellent, too. I have older models of Liberty Air 2 and Liberty 3 Pro. Both sound fantastic, and the Liberty Pro wings really keep 'em in your ear. I have Pixel Buds Pro, the first version without wings and they just don't stay in my ears, even with the Spin Fit attachments.

Owned the Dot 3i, P20i, Liberty Air 2, and P30i. Only disappointing set was the P20i. Effectively, you can generally pick up Soundcore earbuds in any price bracket and be satisfied that they're really competitive with the best options there.

I exclusively listen to audiobooks, so sound quality is not much of a priority lol. Anker liberty air 2s from years ago lol.

anker soundcore. I have their liberty air 2 and liberty 4 nc. They were basically the top of the line at the moment for less than usd$120. They have a liberty 4 pro and a liberty 5 now, which they didn't have when I bought mine.

The Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 or 3 is a great choice with a balance of performance and price. If you're willing to stretch your budget slightly, the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ often offer great sound quality and battery life.

I have a pair of Sony WTF4000s or whatever the hell they're called, and they are very nice, but my AirPods Pro: * Are far, far, far more comfortable * Stay in my ears * Always connect * Have a much smaller/pocketable charging case I got the Sonys as wireless earbuds for Zoom calls on my Windows machines, but I can't get them to work reliably for that. They are now paired to my TV so I can watch movies or game without bothering my wife, but... they don't work reliably for that, either. Hell, they don't even natively connect to the PS5, which is baffling to me. I also have a pair of Anker Liberty earbuds, which worked for a few months. Cheap, sure, but if you have to replace them every year because the battery life falls to 20 minutes, then you pretty quickly get up to AirPod prices. TL;DR: AirPods Pro FTW

I like the anker Liberty earbuds. But my wife gave me her airpods because she didn’t like them, and I started carrying them daily because of how the convenience of the small case fit in my pocket. Over time I got so used to them, I have one in my ear nearly all day long.

AirPods Pro for ease. Also own Max. For the best, I’d recommend Sony’s top cans. Can’t recommend the best buds as I’ve not tried Sonys or Bose’s newest models. AirPods have horrific fit (generally speaking, it’s a known thing even if it works for some), no water proofing, and don’t really top any category except connection strength due to their dedicated chip. But if you are in apples ecosystem, their usability cannot be beat. Soundcore Liberty and SoundPeats make very solid budget friendlier options that can be trusted to not break in a week.
