If you want solid all around performance under $100, the Soundcore Life A3 NC is a really safe pick. The ANC is genuinely useful for the price, battery life is strong for daily use, and they’re comfortable enough to wear for hours without constantly adjusting them. Another good option is the Soundcore Life P3. These lean a bit more fun and punchy in sound, still have decent noise cancelling, and tend to stay in place well. Battery life is also good enough to get you through a full day without stress. If you prefer a more balanced sound, the JBL Tune 230NC is worth a look. They’re comfortable, reliable, and do a good job with both ANC and call quality. Before I buy anything, I usually check the sound tunings on [audiotones.co](http://audiotones.co) to see if it actually matches my vibe rather than just chasing specs.

Also check out Soundcore Life A31. Excellent all around performance and durability. I don't like admitting it, but I'm bad about leaving my buds in my shorts after my runs and they have been through a complete wash cycle (washer AND dryer) 3 times now with zero issues! Can't recommend these enough if you can find them.

Anker A3i are on the cheaper side and work perfectly. I accidentally lost them so my lovely partner is letting me borrow their Jabra Elite 4 Active and those are alright. Good but not as good. I don't like that the quietest setting still feels so loud but for noise cancelling they're good

Soundcore by Anker. I had the A1's and really liked those but one of them died after 2 years, so I went for the A3i's with noise cancelling. They are absolutely brilliant for the price, the noise cancelling is great and you can easily switch between active and passive mode, which is great on public transport. The only thing is I would say I preferred the fit on the A1's with the little notch that fits into the top of your ear, it made them fit extra securely. I don't think the A3i's are available anymore but the A40's look pretty much the same and are on offer for £45 at the moment in Amazon.

I really love my A3i earbuds but they look like they may have been discontinued? I also have the Space Q45 headphones but I find the noise cancelling on them is worse - I had to stop wearing them anyways when I got an industrial piercing lol. My boyfriend (who is more sound sensitive than me) likes both just fine fwiw. Battery life on both is insane.

I also use Soundcores (A3i), been at least a few years of use without issues.

I have these earbuds and I absolutely hate them. The pass through capability is redundant when you can just use bluetooth. After I charge through the dongle and pull it out, the dongle pops off with it. I don't want a dongle attached to my usb c charger all the time. Above all else, the sound quality is just average. There is nothing special targeted toward VR or anything. It's just marketing. No expanded sound stage or ambient focus. I ended up using the Soundcore a3i's instead. They punch above their weight and sound way better. Plus they are more comfortable.

Soundcore Life A3 NC Comfortable, decent ANC for the price, and battery life is better than most in this range.

I just wear one wireless earbud. Enough to hear a podcast or music and to hear surroundings. I use some cheap Anker Soundcore ones off Amazon. They're going to get water damage, lost, case damaged if dropped etc. just buy a cheap pair. Saying that, these have lasted me a while so far.
