"amazing, amazing, amazing ANC performance for earbuds! ... not even close in ANC performance vs these (Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (2024)) ... I, for ANC, prefer the approach Bose takes, blocking out pretty much all frequencies."

"Noise cancellation is solid. ... It's on the level of the Bose QC Earbuds, my previous daily driver, and actually sounds cleaner and feels better in the ear. ... Yes! I was also surprised by how good ANC is compared to the Bose buds. ... 10 ... The ANC on the PBP2 is better. ... Mine are much, much better than both my PBP1 and my Bose QCs."

"noise cancelling headphones are such a blessing for me. i've always been sensitive to noise and i get overstimulated easy when out in public. they give me silence and privacy when I need it. worth every cent!"

"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final “push” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."

"they are so comfortable that both I and my husband have had to feel our ears to check whether we were still wearing them."

"Also super bonus I've never head banged with earphones this hard besides with these soundcores, they stick to me like glue even when I'm in a metal mood and I'm headbanging for a good hour."

"Literally couldn't think of any pair of IEMs + dongle dacs could sound as analytical as the C3P+ for around $70. ... detail is just sooo much better. The C3P+ is just leagues ahead the I5 in terms of detail and resolution. ... the C3P+ is actually the closest sounding one to really expensive iems or headphone that I have."

"Crazy good from the jump! ... When you factor in they're only $99 and go toe-to-toe with Bose QC Ultra at $299, this is the deal of the year!"

"Can't recommend them enough for the value, sound like $200 earphones."

"I use them constantly from 7am to 12 midnight (only music but ANC is on and volume is full blast) and I only had to charge once when it was at 20% and it took about 15 to maybe 20 minutes to full charge. ... So safe to say I think 10 hours of listening as advertised is true"

So safe to say I think 10 hours of listening as advertised is true ... Battery Life is great, long enough that i only had to put it in the case once while using it from 7am to 12 midnight. Charging only took 15-20 minutes to be 100%"

"I think I can confidently say that these will fit anyone and everyone's taste in music, but ONLY because it's soundcore and their app let's you choose EQ settings that would fit your taste. ... Literally each one of the genres I listed sound amazing and most importantly IMMERSIVE when paired with the right EQ ... I was listening to The Red Clay Strays and was not quite satisfied with the way their music sounded so I tried the "Piano" EQ setting, and holy fuck it's like the mids that i was talking about broke out of their cage and colors started flying. The best way I could describe it is that the vocals and instrumentals became more detailed and colorful as opposed to just being a dull and flat board hitting you in the ears. ... For any and I feel like all kinds of audio, you can get what you want with the right EQ setting (preset or custom, whichever you like), even binaural beats which are these pretentious yoga droning noises that i listen to when i can't sleep, they end up being a spiritual experience. ... there's the EQ customization, allowing you to tailor the earbuds' sound quality to a specific genre or taste. there's a ton of different presets for those who have no idea how to manually do it (me), and there's that custom EQ for the sound engineers"

The best way I could describe it is that the vocals and instrumentals became more detailed and colorful as opposed to just being a dull and flat board hitting you in the ears. ... I feel like the R50i NC (or maybe soundcore in general, idk) has an incredibly versatile range when it comes to sound quality, if you don't like bass too much, there's an EQ for that, or if you want your brain rattling for every beat, there's an EQ for that too. For any and I feel like all kinds of audio, you can get what you want with the right EQ setting (preset or custom, whichever you like), even binaural beats which are these pretentious yoga droning noises that i listen to when i can't sleep, they end up being a spiritual experience. ... max volume is LOUD, like loud enough for the people whose goal in life is to learn how to read lips out of necessity."

"The Nothing Eat sound amazing though ... and have phenomenal bass for buds."

"I’d love to be able to run in them, but they would never stay in my ears. ... I’m afraid I already have tried each pod size. ... I had the air pod pro before that and they were the same. ... I even bought extra / different size pods and they didn’t work. ... I think Apple designed them for the most common types, but they just do not fit everyone. I’m sadly one of those people. ... Having had this issue for almost 6 years, I would be reluctant to run with them now."

"The AirPods Pro always slip out after 1-2 minutes of use on the left side (for me). I'm still trying to find a solution for this. One that doesn't involve fiddling with the foam."

"I have tried a bunch of different eartips for my airpods pro, both foam and speciality combined rubber + foam and they grip pretty well. ... But I find that if the earbud has some kind of rubber ring or lip around the speaker casing they seem to stay much much better than if they just have a better replaced rubber tip. Because the whole speaker is otherwise kind of moving around inside the outer part of the ear and pulls the eartip out more and more during the day so I have to constantly readjust and push in the earbud."

"I just ordered and received one and it's been the worst out of box experience I've ever had. ... The minimal quick start and lights on the device didn't match the documentation and it went downhill from there. ... It wouldn't connect to the app, then I eventually got it connected manually and it wouldn't play because it needed an update. ... Of course the update would fail to install every time. ... I spent an hour with support to learn that the battery needed to be at a minimum charge level to update. ... The device doesn't have a way to determine the state of charge without using the app, and won't connect to the app if the charge state is too low. ... In retrospect a simple "charge this device for several hours before attempting to setup and use" in the box would have solved all my issues. ... If it was just off and completely dead I would have figured it out quickly, but it actually displayed lights and gave the appearance that something was working at first and started to pair with the app for a bit. ... It wouldn't play the sound to identify the speaker so I had to manually enter the number as an alternative."

"Wouldn’t work."

"Most of the time, it will not connect to our WiFi."

"I tried anc in samsung buds pro and immediately turned it off because of cabin pressure."

"The ANC version doesn't do the best job of noise cancellation anymore; I think water got in some of the mics and caused issues."

"If I go at a busy time at the gym I can barely hear my music over the machines making the treadmill even harder."

"The only issue is the call quality, it is absolutely atrocious and every single person comments on it, so much so that I just take them out for phone calls now."

"bad call quality"

"Call quality was also abysmal in outdoor environments."

"The subwoofer is boomy as fk as every samsung soundbar subwoofer has been, which stems from pushing too much the sub to mimic how actual subs sound like. ... All the previous Samsung subs were boomy af, this wont be an exception because of the aggressive DSP samsung uses in their soundbars."

"way too bassy"

"nothing buds are bland and dull sounding. No bass or trebal either"

I was honestly surprised by anker soundcore. My wife stole my Buds live so I got her soundcore. They are surprisingly good for their price.

Wait what is ear hang? Do you mean like a stem? Try the Life P30i or P20i. Or nothing CMF buds. I actually prefer neck bands. Like the nothing CMF pro or the OnePlus wireless Z A anc. But if you just want regular earbuds the life P30i has app support and multi point and active noise cancellation and at least in my country you can get them for as low as 24 US dollars.

I have the Soundcore Life P3i’s and they can get very loud with good sound quality. They also have side buttons to skip songs pause songs and change volume. The noise cancellation is also great as long as you have something playing.

I am using the EarFun air pro 4 for a year now and they are much better at noice cancelling than my soundcore life p3 and soundcore liberty 2 pro plus, though those are a few years old now…

I haven't used the first or second options specifically but I have used soundcore earbuds in the past and currently have older models - the liberty 2 pro + and the Life P3, though after a few years, the batteries in the cases are starting to go. The earfun, i am using and they work quite well, the noise cancelling is some of the best I have used.

Try checking amazon renewed, you can get some good deals. I got a set of soundcore life p3 for just over 30 cad, I'm happy with them so far. The p20i that another commenter mentioned are pretty good too and they go on sale for 20-25

Anker Soundcore P series has absolutely amazing sound and noise cancelling quality for the price. Wait for Prime day sales etc and you’ll often find them for 49% off so some models are literally $50. I’ve seen people post the high end models in this thread - be mindful that you can get the latest base AirPods models (AirPods 4 without ANC) for often $180 bucks or so at JB Hifi when they are doing sales or Amazon price matches.

I was skeptical about wireless earbud until I got some. I have a cheap anker soundcore set that I use for podcasts, and the Nothing Ear 1 that has amazing sound.

I stand by the Soundcore line from Anker. I have the Life P3s and they're excellent. Will probably upgrade to the new ones soon.

I've tried many brands (beats, Sony, pixel buds, akg, master and dynamic$$) and I've finally settled on the. Anker Soundcore for me. I use the p40i with the Comply foam tips and I've had no complaints during my calls. Great part is that model of earbud is relatively cheap to stock up on in case you have a habit of misplacing them like I do. My current Pixel is the 8.
