"I was bothered by the silicone wing piece constantly sliding off. ... My main issue is comfort and staying in the ear"
"the ones I had from other brands with silicone tips pushed themselves out of my narrow ear canal very easily (Samsung Buds pro, Redmi buds 5, Soundcore p20i)."

"the rubber tips don’t fit in my ears"
I have the p20i but don’t love them because the rubber tips don’t fit in my ears. The sound quality is great though. I believe the the soundcore k20i is the same thing but no rubber tip - more air pod style almost
For less than 50 Soundcore are my first pick. The p20i is on sale for 19.99(Amazon), and they sound better than $20 earbuds should. For $30, you can get the p30i which also have ANC. I have well over a dozen earbuds, most in the premium segment, and these are the ones I choose for when I'm out mountain biking or other sports... I'd rather be out $20 than $400 (not that I paid that much for any of them, just what they retail for).
Cheap, the Anker Soundcore P20i (or 25i) I got for 20 bucks are actually pretty good. For the core function — providing wireless sound — they do the job. They even have an app with customizable EQ presets, voice assistant support, and good battery life. Of course, they lack ANC, LDAC, and other high-end features. But since Apple only uses the AAC codec anyway, I’d be overpaying for anything more. These will do the job for now until I get the AirPods.
Got the Soundcore p30i last week from Amazon for $28. Incredible for a cheap earbud. Construction is solid, great battery life and charge time, solid sound quality, fantastic EQ app that also let's your customize the easy to use touch controls, and it has transparency mode and ANC. The comfort level is outstanding. The only flaws are that the ANC is just okay and the charging case is bigger than average. If you don't need ANC I'd actually recommend the Soundcore p20i, which you can get for $18 refurbished on Amazon or 20-ish dollars new. Same thing but without ANC I think. Honestly, I would have thought these earbuds were more in the $50-60 range. I've had the several other cheap earbuds from Amazon, several variants of the airpods, and I was using the Jabra Elite 75T for awhile as my daily driver. I'd say the Soundcore p30i is better than the Jabras, which cost me $60-70.
Soundcore P20i. They're like $25 on Amazon and I picked them up on a whim because I needed a new pair of earbuds. They honestly have really good sound clarity and some great bass, so I really can't ask for more.
I have been using these for a while and had a lot of ppl have switched strictly for the savings and liked them as much or more than more notable brands Anker Soundcore P20i Now i'm no audiophile but for $20 these things are awesome in my opinion
I can't wear most buds either, they hurt or fall out, but mainly they hurt. I'm new to the earbud reddit, but I found a basic anker a30i are inexpensive ($20 on sale) and fit my ears the best of all the ones I've tried (which is alot). The anker p20 doesn't fit as well. I have apple airbuds pro 3 that fit fairly well as well, with the xs eartip. But they still hurt after a little while. The others I like are around the ear cuffs that don't actually go in the ear canal.
I think I bought these for about the same price if not a couple dollars less a few months ago and for 20ish bucks they're pretty decent Not much for noise cancelation but it's $24, what are you expecting?
Just picked up a pair of Anker P20i for the same reason. £16.99 on offer at Amazon and are decent, I use most of the day (usually one ear at a time) and they last the full day. With the charging case I will get a week out of them.
I bought soundcore by Anker P20i on amazon for like 40 bucks, they've worked fine
