I think Soundcore has a lot of hidden, high-value gems in their line up. I own and enjoy the Life A1 and Space A40. I don't feel let down by them versus my higher end buds. On the headphone side, I think their Q30s are a better-sounding, more comfortable pair of cans than the Space Ones or Space Q45s.
I'm not really someone who can speak to as new price since I tend to be happy with buds in Open Box, Used - Like New, or Refurb'd condition. I feel like I get a lot more for my sound dollar. That said, I am able to comment on sound and fit/comfort. I find the Sony WF-1000XM5s to have excellent sound, but their fit and long-term comfort let me down. I find the WF-1000XM4s much more comfortable and their sound is very good in its own right. I've owned many other Technics earbuds, but never the AZ100s. I recall their sound as being good to very good, with very good noise cancelling. Fit and long-term comfort were very good across the board. The controls were also solid. I moved on from them because I always thought the midrange was a touch veiled and they were not the last word in dynamics. I only own the Bose QuietComfort earbuds, but I find their sound and noise cancellation excellent overall. Long-term comfort is good for me, but I feel the fit could be a touch more secure. The Ultras are less interesting to me because I don't really like earbuds in the mic boom form factor. I've only owned the Sennheiser Accentum earbuds. They aren't bad, but I found the fit a bit odd. I feel like it's possible to get better sound for similar money. The Technics EAH-AZ40s would be a huge upgrade. I should like the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro for their compact form factor, but I feel the fit and long-term comfort should be better than good or very good. Sound is good but nothing spectacular. The multipoint connectivity between my phone and laptop could also be more seamless. I feel like my Sony WF-C700Ns have flawless multipoint and at least 90% of the sound + noise-cancelling for a lot less money. I've never owned the Liberty 4, but if you're on a tight budget the Anker Soundcore Space A40s are tough to beat. Very good sound, NC, fit, and long-term comfort. If you are on a super tight budget and can live with passive isolation the Soundcore Life A1s are worth a listen. I own a ton of Jabra Elites over the years, including the 75ts, 4s in Black and Blue, 5s (currently missing), and 7s. I tend to find them cheap on eBay. I find their sound and NC good to very good. I like their tiny form factor, which makes the long-term fit and comfort excellent for me. This makes the Jabra Elites my favorite workout buds. My 75ts have held up to years of runs and workouts in all manner of conditions. Because of this, I'm bummed Jabra are leaving the earbud segment. In conclusion, I need to declutter and sell off my ridiculously large collection of earbuds!
I'll second the Soundcore Space A40s. Great sounding at the price point, I just wish the fit was a bit more dialed in for me. I also have the Sony C700Ns and they are a great value bud. ANC and sound quality are both very good for me. I also find the fit excellent, I wear them most of the day at work. On top of that, the Bluetooth multipoint on the C700Ns is great. It switches between my phone and work laptop seamlessly.
This is a wide open question that really depends on your listening tastes. That said, I've owned and enjoyed a wide range of earbuds. If I had to make a value pick, I'd probably say Soundcore Space A40s. If you have some money, the Sony WF-1000XM4, Sony WF-1000XM5, and Bose QuietComfort earbuds all have great sound and ANC. If you want higher-end buds but don't have the money, my recommendation is to look on eBay and Amazon for Open Box, Used - Like New, and Refurbs from a reputable vendor. I've had good luck with Secondipity for Sony refurbs.
I used Soundcore Space A40 extensively before. Ngayon, i have a separate mic and designated the A40 as the work earbuds.

They fit well under a helmet, have good noise cancelling and sound amazing. Get rid of the silicone tips for the earphones and get foam ones from Comply. The foam tip acts like an ear plug blocking much of the noise. The noise cancelling gets rid of wind noise. Now you can enjoy your music in peace. Best of all you can still hear your exhaust note and car horns for safety. Iām currently using the Edifier TWS2 earbuds which are absolutely perfect but unfortunately they are discontinued and very hard to find.
If you hate dangling sticks out of ear and like low profile I'd suggest soundcore space A40, music quality is average, but bettery life, ergonomics, charging, ANC is good, since I mostly listen to podcasts I don't care about music as much so for me they are top noch for the price
Try the Space A40. About $60 but longer battery and smaller so you can side sleep. Tons of features.
I just bought and returned the A40's. The 'noise cancelling' let in more noise than having it turned off, and actually introduced a lot of white noise when turned on. The Sony's I had to return because they kept disconnecting were far better at ANC than that, and now I'm considering giving up on the whole stupid idea. This shouldn't be this hard. š¤¦āāļø
