I know this gets posted every year or so, but since earbud models change so frequently, old posts aren't very helpful. I can't wear over-the-ear headphones. Every pair I've worn feels like my upper ear cartilage is being pressed into with a knife. I don't think there's any headphones that won't do this, as even sleeping on my ear on a pillow can do it. I don't know if I've only tried earbuds with bad ANC, but I've hated every minute of it. My last pair of earbuds that I liked were Soundcore Spirit Dot 2s, but Soundcore doesn't make any earbuds without ANC now. I don't want transparency mode; I just want no ANC. I currently have a pair of Beats Studio Buds, and they're okay but not very comfortable and not great sound. Wireless is pretty nonnegotiable, as I am not threading an earbud cord down my shirt daily.

I love my Anker Soundcore earbuds. Drowns out my husband’s snoring! Yet, I could hear Scouts yelling in an emergency

+1 for these too! Use them exclusively for running and had no issues with sweat or reliability. I love how they have the over the ear clip which as a runner I need to have for peace of mind to not worry about them falling out of my ear

Second the soundcore. You get 95% of what the premium brands provide, for 25% of the price. I use the sport ones that have the ear hook so that they stay in while running, walking, or whatever. So comfortable, sounds great.

I have them too. I have a cheap model  but they'll last for a some years. I'm  also pretty clumsy and I would hate myself if I dropped more expensive ones in a puddle or lost them in the mud.

I use the anker soundcore sport. You can have them on adaptive or ANC

I use anker soundcore sport that has the wrap around. I sweat too much for nothing going around my ear

I hated the beats I had. They were horrible. Never charged right. Bluetooth would cut out.  I like my anker soundcore sport. They have a piece that wraps around my ear and transparency mode works.

I have some Anker Soundcore earpods and they have a lot of audio presets one is for podcasts and works brilliantly for audiobooks. You just select the preset on the app.

I used these since they are so cheap for a long time. I was bothered by the silicone wing piece constantly sliding off. I upgraded to raycon fitness earbuds. My main issue is comfort and staying in the ear, and I refuse to spend 200 for earbuds.
