I don't know about absolute best, but I have been using Soundcore's Sport X10 earbuds over the past year or so and I have not been disappointed. Has pretty amazing sound quality and ANC, custom EQ and a transparency mode, premium build quality, and comfortable to wear for hours. Only thing I can't use them for is sleeping, since they're a bit bulky

Hopefully you downloaded the app and updated the firmware. Significantly improved the sound for me. EQ settings are decent

My only comparison is the Sport X10s. I wanted to upgrade because the left earbud in my X10s stopped working after a couple years. I will say, out of the box I was not initially impressed. They felt a tad less premium than the X10s and they had the slightest fuzz sound at higher volumes. But I have the Soundcore app and did a firmware update. Sounded much better after the update alone, and the EQ settings are far more expensive than the x10s. Overall I'd say with the help of the EQ settings they sound right on par with the x10s. I also like that I don't have to fold and turn the earbuds hooks, and they just go right into the charging case without any effort. My biggest gripe is the material of the case. I wish Soundcore would stop using the matte material because it tends to slip out of the fingers. Thankfully they make silicone covers. The earhooks also and be pulled out slightly to get a better fit if needed. Hip hop sounds especially good. Booming bass, if that's you're thing.

+1 on X10s. Been using them for my runs and never falls off because of the hooks.

The JLab items are good. I used the Fit 3 with BT wire by them. It is a nice item with solid slightly bassy sound and 3 EQ settings. Soundcore X10 is good too. The Jabra 4 item is good too that has had a bit of a price cut.

I have a pair of sound core too. They fit really well, decent sound and don’t cost too much for when I inevitability misplace them or put them through the washing machine.

I use the Soundcore Sport X10 and really like them. The sound quality is sufficient for my age and the construction really stays in my ear, even during running. The only thing I would like to have is better ANC. Question: is the X20 ANC significant better or are there other equivalent models out there?

The Soundcore Anker Sport X10 or X20’s!!! Their ear-loops keep them solid in place. Very affordable. Water proof IPX7 so they resist sweat. They have an app for eq. Very good value.

IMO exercise focused buds can be a little overrated...not saying they're bad, but usually an ipx4 rating will be more than adequate for the gym. With that said I tried the jabra elite 7 active and soundcore x10. Even though the x10 is cheaper, I found the sound to be more full and dark. The jabras just don't have big enough drivers to me. Long story short, I tried and kept the liberty 4nc for my gym buds and they stay in just fine with the stock or aftermarket tips. I still have the x10 for lawn and car work.

You mentioned you are a runner. Im also a runner and i have some experience to share too. I just took a look at those Jabras. I think those would not stay in my ears during a run. Once i begin sweating, the sweat would lubricate them and they probably would fall off. I had bought a pair of soundcore sport x20 to use for my runs. They were nice and had consistent sound throughout my running but sweat would lubricate them and make them fall off. The hook they put on them is not sturdy enough. They should have retained the hook they had on the soundcore spirit x2. The JBL endurance peak are also not good for running but not because of the hook but because they are unable to handle sweat. Once i sweat, trouble starts with bass disappearing from the left earbud and then the volume lowers itself on the left earbud such that i now get imbalanced sound. Then later on, the other earbud also lowers it's volume and loses the bass. They later return to their original sound once im done running and they have dried up. For this reason, i retired them from running and i now use them like a normal non sport earbuds. That being said, i still love their sound especially the punchy bass. They beat even the soundcores. Anyways, I later resorted to using a cheap pair of chinese earbuds called Dacom athlete. They are the only ones i have had that do not fall off and their sound never changes even when i sweat. They also have a 20hour battery life.

I like anker soundcore sport. They wrap around and have a good battery life. Decent noise transparency.  A lot of folks love their aftershokz.  Hates the beats sport with passion.  I have to use ear buds that wrap around the ears.

I love the Soundcore Sport varieties. I have 2 different pairs and they both work super well. They have ear loops which I need to run comfortably and stay on my ears really well. Highly recommend.

You should try contacting customer support about it. One of the main reasons I still use and recommend Anker/Eufy/Soundcore products to this day is their customer service. If they can't fix the problem within their existing policies, they will likely give you a steep discount on your next pair.

I have a pair of Soundcore Sports I bought in October 2022 that worked great until they didn't. I was running in April and started to hear a squealing in my left ear. Turns out the part that holds the bud to the body of the earphone just came off in my ear. I glued it back on but it still squeals so they are going in the trash. Still looking to replace them with something similar (with ear hooks).

I just got em and tried em on. Have to say I'm very dissapointed. These are the first decent Bluetooth earbuds I've ever tried. I'm used to a pair of wired koss the plug for 10 bucks and the sound in these are way way worse. What am I missing or doing wrong I have to ask? Is there some setting I need to use or some sort of tweaking? Right now I have it set to normal in the app and the default eq setting. I would have been fine with sound quality equaling cheap wired ones but this is bad

I have the AZ80 and Space A40 from this list. I also have the Earfun Air Pro 4, Soundcore Liberty 4NC, Soundcore Sport X20, and I've had several others over the last couple of years including the Jabra Elite 10 gen1. The Earfuns are my favorite for music. The AZ80s are my favorites for day to day use, including phone calls and transparency mode. What I've learned is, the difference between the really high dollar options and mid-priced ones is much smaller than you would expect. I hadn't used the A40s in a while, and they were my absolute favorites for a long time. While they aren't as good as my Earfuns or Technics, unless you're comparing them side to side, you'll probably be okay.

I think the Sport X20 and Liberty 4NC have the best ANC of the bunch. I don't take much public transport, but all I need them to do is reduce noise, not eliminate. So to me,they all are fine. Specifically regarding ANC though, the Soundcore buds are a cut above.

I have tried a number of running/workout ear buds over the years, but the only ones I can safely and happily recommend are the Soundcore Sport X20 and they’re super reasonable! Not sure if they were on your short list, but they are amazing and never lose the seal in my ear therefore never lose any audio quality

I'm demoting these. They sound great but because the hooks swivel (so they will fit in the case), they actually pop right out of my ears as soon as I get going. The stock tips are garbage and that could be the problem but I couldn't find any foam tips to replace them with.

The Sport X20 are extremely comfortable. The loops are expandable and that feature is never mentioned (remember to retract before recharging). I haven’t used transparency mode.

Have used Soundcore spirit x2s (which are outdated now) and lost recently the soundcore sport x20 and have not had any issues like you have described. I’m also consistently wearing headbands but moisture sweat gets everywhere.
