I was about to recommend them also. They stay stable on an ear even on a very demanding trails. IP68 - just rinse sweat with tap water after. Battery life - enough for full marathon volume full on and noise cancellation on. And they have bass, unlike many other earphones. Lightweight - you barely feel them. Connects to two devices simultaneously - ex. watch and phone.

Anker Soundcore x20 stays in my ears really well. They have ear hooks. They have interchangeable sizes and my left ear needs a small size for some reason and right needs regular and it fits well. Sound is good too with an app with equalizer.

For a fairly budget but solid performer, I’m really loving the Soundcore X20 (by Anker) The ear loops have saved me from dropping them several times, the sound is good, the transparency on roads is fine, the ANC is passable. Edit: sigh autocorrect

I have tried a number of running/workout ear buds over the years, but the only ones I can safely and happily recommend are the Soundcore Sport X20 and they’re super reasonable! Not sure if they were on your short list, but they are amazing and never lose the seal in my ear therefore never lose any audio quality

OP, as a fellow tiny ear gal I recommend the soundcore ear buds. I got the "sporty" ones that have a little over the ear action to keep the bud from dropping out. They fit really well, they don't make my ear sore, they have a noise cancelling setting to them. You can make tons of adjustments on the soundcore app. Happy listening! Let me know if you have any questions.

They have ANC mode, normal mode, and then transparency mode. I'm not really sure what the difference between the last two are, but I guess one is more active pass through. Never had issues with wind noise while running or while on calls. The x10s are my favourite I've ever owned. Got some x20s recently when I thought I lost my x10s and don't like them as much. Feel cheaper and I don't like the controls or buttons on the headphones. Case is half again the size of the x10 case.

You mentioned you are a runner. Im also a runner and i have some experience to share too. I just took a look at those Jabras. I think those would not stay in my ears during a run. Once i begin sweating, the sweat would lubricate them and they probably would fall off. I had bought a pair of soundcore sport x20 to use for my runs. They were nice and had consistent sound throughout my running but sweat would lubricate them and make them fall off. The hook they put on them is not sturdy enough. They should have retained the hook they had on the soundcore spirit x2. The JBL endurance peak are also not good for running but not because of the hook but because they are unable to handle sweat. Once i sweat, trouble starts with bass disappearing from the left earbud and then the volume lowers itself on the left earbud such that i now get imbalanced sound. Then later on, the other earbud also lowers it's volume and loses the bass. They later return to their original sound once im done running and they have dried up. For this reason, i retired them from running and i now use them like a normal non sport earbuds. That being said, i still love their sound especially the punchy bass. They beat even the soundcores. Anyways, I later resorted to using a cheap pair of chinese earbuds called Dacom athlete. They are the only ones i have had that do not fall off and their sound never changes even when i sweat. They also have a 20hour battery life.

I have shokz and love them but for my race last weekend I used Soundcore Sport x20. It was a controlled course and I didn't “need” to hear my surroundings (cars, etc) and the battery life was 50% by the end of ~4 hours. $60 on amazon - highly recommend. They're great on the treadmill too since they are noise cancelling

They've never fallen out before. They have gotten loose occasionally, but I think that's more to do with me picking the wrong sized earbuds. Having said that, I don't really run or do high intensity (too old). Maybe try the Soundcore Sport x20s since they have ear hooks - it was a toss up when I was shopping between the two. However, the P40i were cheaper by about $20, so that's what did it for me. From what I understand a lot of the Soundcore stuff is the same (both of these headphones have 11mm drivers, similar ANC and similar mics). So, I suspect the biggest difference is in the look, the case and control buttons.

I just got em and tried em on. Have to say I'm very dissapointed. These are the first decent Bluetooth earbuds I've ever tried. I'm used to a pair of wired koss the plug for 10 bucks and the sound in these are way way worse. What am I missing or doing wrong I have to ask? Is there some setting I need to use or some sort of tweaking? Right now I have it set to normal in the app and the default eq setting. I would have been fine with sound quality equaling cheap wired ones but this is bad

I'm demoting these. They sound great but because the hooks swivel (so they will fit in the case), they actually pop right out of my ears as soon as I get going. The stock tips are garbage and that could be the problem but I couldn't find any foam tips to replace them with.

Soundcore X20s. I tried to find something better after losing my pair recently and I couldn't so I just got another pair. Wearing them again after trying 4 other pairs (earfuns, beats fit pro, soundpeats and the cheap sonys) is a relief honestly, in terms of comfort. Because of the ear hooks you don't have to jam the tips into your ears and that makes a huge difference, for me. Plus the sound is good, IMO. They check all your boxes honestly, and the app is better than all those other ones I tried. Again, fit and comfort is personal but for me they are amazing and perfect for the gym.

i tried to find something better for the gym after losing my X20s (kinda why I started using this sub recently) and I could not. granted, i didn't try any other ear hook styles cuz i wanted to try other types of earbuds. i'm not sure what could be higher quality about them. they're comfortable and i find the sound punchy in a way that is nice for the gym. i had my first pair for about 7 months before losing them, so i guess the one thing i can't speak on is their longevity. kinda crazy that the beats only have a IPX4 rating for $250.

Many here would say steer clear of raycon. I would suggest soundcore sport x20 or whatever Jabra active model fits your budget. Also, so long you have at least an ipx4 rating, you should be able to branch out to way more options. I never thought of stems before, but I was surprised to find any stem style I tried stayed in better than the other buds during exercise.

Now that I've had them for a few days my review is that they are good buds, the app is easy, good connectivity and battery life, and they feel very secure. Sound wise they are about 90% as good as the Earfuns which are just a bit crisper, cleaner, and fuller sounding. They're also not quite as loud as the Earfuns, but that might not be such a bad thing as when I run I tend to just keep pushing the volume up button and so having the max be a bit lower is probably better for me in the long run.

I recently got a pair for running. Let me just say wow! They top my list of preferred true wireless earbuds for training. And I’m someone who previously used AirPod Pro, Beats Powerbeats Pro, Jaybird Vista 2, Oladance (various models) and Shokz (various models). From now on, I will probably alternate between my X20 and my Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, the former for when noise cancellation and strong bass is my priority, and the latter when I need to remain more aware of my surroundings while training.

To preface I sweat a lot so when I do where earbuds, they tend to get wet from my sweat after each sessions. Happens more often during the summer than winter but still, they do get wet. Since I know I sweat a lot, I do make sure to wipe both buds and let them dry on a microfiber towel before putting them back in their charging case. I had ESC sounds and swore by them until after a year, the left earbud wouldn't charge. I reached out to support and since I was only a month outside of warranty, they sent a new pair, free of charge. With these new pairs, I made sure I wiped the sweat off each session. Unfortunately after another year, one of the earbud did the same thing, they stopped charging. [Soundcore Sport X20](https://www.soundcore.com/products/a3968-sport-x20-earbuds?ref=true-wireless-earbuds) \- I got these as a replacement and going a year and some change strong! I still wipe/dry them after every session and they're still holding up! They don't fall bc of the ear hook too.

I will say I have very similiar requirements to OP and bought these less than a year ago and the audio quality has recently dipped drastically. Maybe I haven't taken good enough care of them but the left bud is noticably worse + quieter than the right. That said, until that started I thought I'd found my go to buds; quality, comfort was good and ANC was decent, so maybe you mileage would be better.

For Gym I like Soundcore Sport X20 (or previous gen). It was around $40 during the memorial on eBay. I bought more IEMs than TWS on AliExpress. For budget TWS ones, I really like"Hoco. EQ23 Plus". One of the best ANC & build quality in this price range(~$20). Sound is kinda bland to me, but nothing wrong with it. Way too many choices out there. Hifiman TWS450 can be found around $30. For girls with tiny ears, you might have to look for buds SHAPED like Airpods(non-pro), cuz nothing else works!

I wear glasses and have the Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats Pro In-Ear True Wireless Earbuds. They do NOT budge and do not fall out of my ears like the galaxy buds I had before these. A more budget friendly version is the Sport X20 by Anker, True-Wireless Workout Earbuds. They're also great (my partner has them and I've recommended them to a friend who loves them). I just find the part that goes over the ear a little too flexible so it nudges my glasses more than I prefer. Other than that, they are pretty solid and I'd use them if I didn't wear glasses!

Soundcore Sport X20 have been great for me. They clip over the ear and never fall off, they have a transparency mode so you aren't completely oblivious to the sounds around you, and I haven't been able to kill them with my sweat yet. I went through a couple other brands of similar headphones that would die after a run or two, I believe my sweat killed them. I'm leaning towards these. Maybe 4 months out of the year I run in the cold with a hat. I can't find any info about how the ones with touch sensitivity work with a hat (unintentional presses, not registering actual presses). These are one of the only ones I've found with physical buttons and are programmable. May I ask, have you used transparency mode? How do you like it? I'm a little concerned about the ear loop comfort but I won't know until I try them. I do like Anker products though. The pair these are replacing are soundcore Liberty from almost 6 years ago .

So I have some input from my experience in a similar situation as you. I apologize that this is long, but it might help you out. Also the formatting sucks. It's too long for rich text format so I had to post in the old reddit for it to post. I currently have 3 soundcore models I am testing out. Similar to your use, I do about 2-3 hours per day. 5 days per week running, 7 days walking my dog and then the occasional housework/yardwork situations. Probably about 13-15 hours per week. I am NOT an audiophile. They all sound the same to me, I can't tell you how they handle bass, treble, etc. 98% of the time I only wear 1 earbud of my current ones that I'm replacing so that I can hear traffic, etc. Soundcore Space A40 I like this in-ear, not stem style personally. These were mostly great in my initial test yesterday. Full transparency mode was very transparent. I could hear the scrap of the dead leaves on the ground, rocks under feet, etc. You do hear a bit of a whiney sound from the microphones in this mode though. It's not distracting to me, but you will hear it. Wind noise sounds like what you would expect for wind blowing through a microphone. Wind reduction mode on helps with this but also lessens the transparancy sound. For cars, I would say I would pick them up maybe 3-4 houses away. Normal mode was about 2 houses away for cars. To be honest, I didn't notice any difference between normal and full ANC modes. If you are walking past someone and want to talk with them, my experience is you need to either stop what you are listening to or remove 1 bud. You can hear them speaking, but I couldn't easily make out what they were saying. I do like that if I did decide to leave 1 bud in the case the other bud switches to mono mode so you get both left/right audio in the one ear. What I don't like on these: The touch controls. They work really well, but not great for my use of running/dog walking. The touch does not work at all if you have any type of hat over your ears or wear gloves. The touch has to be skin to device. Since I'm in the northeast United States, 5-6 months of the year I'm outside in a hat that covers my ears and/or gloves. It would be annoying to have to take off a glove and lift the hat up to pause music or change tracks. Because of this, these are likely going back for me. However, These would probably be my buds of choice if there was a physical button. Soundcore Sport X20: These pretty much acted the same as the A40's as far as transparency mode though I felt the A40's picked up more ambient noise. Everything else applies here too as far as when I would hear cars in the different modes and that I couldn't tell a difference between Normal and ANC modes. Also, if you are talking to someone you probably will need to stop the music and/or remove 1 bud to hear them well, even in full transparancy. The controls on these are great for me. My tests had me hitting the mark about 98% of the time whether I had on a wool hat, thin hat, thick glove, thin gloves. What I don't like on these: No mono mode, so if I put the left one in the case, I only get right audio in the right ear, not both right/left like the A40 and Liberty 4 Pro (below). The X20 has the ear loop that goes over your ear. I find them comfortable when wearing, but the extra step of looping it over my ear and then off when removing is slightly annoying, but maybe I'll get used to it. This is especially true if I need to remove one quickly to talk with someone, though I have figured out I can remove the bud and just let it hang there on my ear. Still annoying, but better. Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro These I only really tested so far with running and wearing a hat/gloves. Tomorrow I plan to use these for my dog walk to check out transparancy, ANC and normal modes more in depth. I can update if you like after I'm done. From a use standpoint. These are decent. They have a pinch control where you pinch near the bottom of the stem to pause, next track, etc. They are not as good as the X20 as far as triggering the controls with a hat/gloves on or while running, but I would say they hit about 80% of the time. There is also volume control by swiping up/down on either stem. This aspect DOES NOT work with gloves on, but the single/double/triple "pinch" does work. A small percentage of the time I will also trigger a volume up/down when trying to go for a pinch. These DO have an Easy Speak or Easy Talk mode. Basically if you turn it on if it picks up that you're speaking it will turn the volume way down for whatever you have it set to (5,10,15 seconds). This is great, BUT, it works too well at no fault to Soundcore. If you cough or clear your throat it will trigger it about 80% of the time. Also, it only works if you are at noise cancelling of 6-10 (basically in ANC mode). it won't activate in normal/transparency modes (noise canceling of 1-5). I like these, but they have a lot of features I probably don't need. Functionality wise, the button press and location on the X20's work better for my use. I rarely have the case with me, so the features on the case won't really be used by me. Where I stand now: I still may try another pair. I don't really want to keep buying/returning though. Even though soundcore/Amazon give you 30 days, I feel weird about it. Anyway: A40's - My favorite style, but the fact that the touch becomes useless with hat/gloves kind of rules them out. X20 - Great controls, secure fit, just annoying to put in and take out L4 Pro - Decent controls. Lots of bells and whistles. But not sure in my use if worth the $45 more over the X20's. If I try another, I may check out the Sony WF-C700N. I have to research them a lot more, but they are the style that I prefer (A40 Style) and I think they work with actual button presses, not haptic touch like the A40's. We'll see. Hope this helps. Sorry it was so long :)

I don't know how the earfuns sound, and I am not an audiophile, but I have some recommendations. I just got the Sound core sport x20, and am so happy with them. They sound great and are super comfortable. They have hooks that are just strong enough to get rid of that worry that they will fall out. $63 on Amazon. This is my highest recommendation. Jzones is a super budget earbud that sounds just as good, just as comfortable, holds into your ear better, and is only $28. The charging case is large, and it doesn't have ANC, but its a really good deal. JLab Epic Air Sport are good too. A lot of people recommend them JLab, so maybe there is some difference, but they sound the same quality to me as the above recommendations. However, they are not as comfortable for me. The hook is very stiff and harder to get over my ears, and it puts a lot of pressure on my ear canal. It also has some weird Bluetooth behavior where sometimes it won't actually have sound, even though it's paired. Lastly, the JBL Endurance Peak 3 I would not recommend at all. They sound super tinny and also don't have ANC. And cost more than the other recs. But they are more comfortable for me than the JLab.

I have the AZ80 and Space A40 from this list. I also have the Earfun Air Pro 4, Soundcore Liberty 4NC, Soundcore Sport X20, and I've had several others over the last couple of years including the Jabra Elite 10 gen1. The Earfuns are my favorite for music. The AZ80s are my favorites for day to day use, including phone calls and transparency mode. What I've learned is, the difference between the really high dollar options and mid-priced ones is much smaller than you would expect. I hadn't used the A40s in a while, and they were my absolute favorites for a long time. While they aren't as good as my Earfuns or Technics, unless you're comparing them side to side, you'll probably be okay.

I think the Sport X20 and Liberty 4NC have the best ANC of the bunch. I don't take much public transport, but all I need them to do is reduce noise, not eliminate. So to me,they all are fine. Specifically regarding ANC though, the Soundcore buds are a cut above.

I've ran with regular ear buds, the ones with the wing to stay inside your ear and the ones that have the over the ear "hook" to keep them in place. If you wear glasses the hook ones may not be the most comfortable ones, although I did use JLab go air SPORT for my half marathon and training up to it. They stayed in place but sometimes would woghte push my ear out or would shift my glasses up on one side (usually only wear one ear buds at a time) The other types could work well too but in my personal experience they did not stay in place as well as the Hook style ones. I accidentally ran over my JLab so now I have the soundcore sport x20. they are great. The hook part is a bit more comfortable than the JLab Ones, have better control, can connect to multiple devices and the sound is better in my opinion. They're also smaller. If available they may be out of your desired budget, but they have worked well for me.

I have soundcore sport x20s and they are great. Anything below 70mph, I get little to no wind noise coming through using both the ANC and sound transparency modes with the mind noise cancellation enabled. I can’t speak much to engine noise as my bike is somewhat quiet and low displacement (230cc). With the cutouts that (most) helmets have the earbuds don’t move around, but also don’t feel as if they are being stuffed in my ears. *soundcore is Anker’s headphone/earbud brand. They are generally known for reliable power wires for phones, but their earbuds seem nice to me.

Hi guys, I’ve tried a few earbuds out the last few days and need advice on earbuds that go louder than my current ones… They are for general use and the gym I own the Soundcore Sport X20 (Keeping these as the are great for the money) A pair of Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 arrived today off of Amazon and I wouldn’t say there is a huge difference in volume (if any) or audio quality over the Soundcore buds, Probably send them back tomorrow to Amazon, I’m not blown away by them Any others you recommend? I use TIDAL Hi res Audio for all my music Haven’t tried any of the earbuds in the picture How would they compare ? Need ones that just go a “bit louder” with amazing audio quality Yes my hearing is fine 🤣 and I also like a fair bit of bass, as long as it’s not distorted ! Listening to primarily Rock Music and jazz funk I prefer to use memory foam tips as the seal is greater on those than silicon…

I’ve ordered the Technics AZ80 to try on Amazon, they arrive tomorrow what I will say is that I’m still blown away by the sound quality and bass, aswell as the volume on my Soundcore Sport X20! Just done a 2 hour workout today and they sound and felt amazing, did an 8 mile run yesterday and again, can’t fault them… I used Comply Isolate 500 foam tips with them I think I’m gonna potentially get the Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds, silly money but apparently these are just phenomenal and nothing touches them ? I just wanted a premium pair of ear buds that I can use for normal use and not the gym,

I have a pair of Soundcore Sports I bought in October 2022 that worked great until they didn't. I was running in April and started to hear a squealing in my left ear. Turns out the part that holds the bud to the body of the earphone just came off in my ear. I glued it back on but it still squeals so they are going in the trash. Still looking to replace them with something similar (with ear hooks).

Don't waste your money on overpriced earbuds. You know what Sony, apple, Samsung Bose, and seinheiser have in common? They are disgustingly overpriced for a technology that is still going nowhere. I use Soundcores (have for about a year now) and while I do like them, I do have some things I dislike too. The sound on them is good for the price, and according to my partner the mic on them picks up fairly well. Their battery life can be a bit iffy, but they are quick to charge and if not being used constantly will hold a charge for a long time. If you’ve ever had problems with earbuds not fitting, that’s probably going to be your main concern. No matter what size cover I use mine will always inevitably fall out, especially if I’m walking. Over all they’re my favorite pair of wireless earbuds I’ve owned- and I’ve gone through a lot- and for $30 they’ll serve you well.

Have you all looked into replacement tips from Spinfit, Sedna, Azla? Those seem like a good option as they carry lots of sizes and fit the ear better than the standard tips. (I don’t own any, I just saw them recommended on another post in the sub. It looks like SS, then S are the smallest sizes. They all have instructions on how to select your size and model). Also on Amazon there are silicone behind the neck straps that you can fit to any earbud while running/working out and later take them off when you don’t need them. I’m still deciding on a lightweight, compact, good-sounding, earbud under $100 and most of all great fitting for running. I have some Anker Soundcore that fall out of my ear easily with any of the included tips. I also have older Jabra Elite (not the active), which are more comfortable but still not great for running..
